Went again this year and it was even better with rooms and furnishings updated. Staff was super responsive and helpful. And the omelet chef was amazing (cooking 6 at a time). In fact, he was the same chef that was there in 2020. Great pool, beach and evening reception. And the boardwalk to the town begins at the hotel with a beautiful 3/4 mile walk to restaurants, shops and the pier. We love this place!

No but definitely a good bang for the buck, it's easier for you to read then for me to write a whole review. Hi Stephanie, My name is Janine D. I stayed at your hotel for just two nights, I've been in Florida since last Tuesday the 3rd. I have stayed at your hotel before and wanted to let you know a few things that I ran into while I was there, if you could forward to the hotel manager I would truly appreciate it. When I got there from Fort Myers on Monday and went into ask if my room was ready there was a gentleman with dark hair that said it wasn't and housekeeping was aware of that and I would receive a call or text when it was ready, I never received either. I went back at 4:30, the same young dark haired gentleman was on the phone, he was trying to get in contact with a housekeeping supervisor because someone had been trying to get in touch with them for three weeks, the gentleman got really mad at housekeeping and said "fuck you" and hung up on her, all this was going on while I wasn't acknowledged. I was shocked! After he finally was done with his little temper tantrum he didn't say I'm sorry about that or anything like that, he said can I help you? So I said who I was he gave me my room keys, there was no explanation about anything regarding parking, pool, beach etc. just here are your two bottles of water and you'll get two a day (never happened) his behavior was gross if I'm being honest. Now I'd like to mention a few things about my room, I stayed in room 602, the shower has black mold in it, and there is a constant sound of what sounds like an electric drill being used in the ceiling in the bedroom, to say this was an underwhelming experience is being kind. I won't be back, I'm a woman on disability and it takes me awhile to save for vacations, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Myers and there were no issues. I didn't even bother with breakfast this morning because yesterday, the waffle batter ran out as did the orange juice. As a person who used to be in management I wouldn't even know where to start with your establishment, I can tell you I cannot wait to sleep as the banging of the "drill" noise was awful! You are lucky that you have the gorgeous beach, I think that's what must keep you afloat, I'm not in the habit of writing such nasty emails but truly my stay at your hotel was awful from the start to end, one more thing I will mention, the elevator fit the garage didn't work which was a real pain in the neck and it would really make sense to have something about the times that the beach, pool etc and menu actually on paper, also someone should take a look at the menu, the spelling on it is really bad, again I'm sorry for all the negative comments but I actually could go on. I'm also going to add, that when I was there a few years ago there were always issues with the elevators, that is still the same! I had opened the slider when I got there and a maintenance guy came because I thought the cord was missing from the phone (but they are now cordless) and the guy literally started yelling at me because the ac was on and the slider was open at the same time and it could cause a flood in the first bathroom. The only saving grace to your hotel is the beach because the pool had young guys playing beer ping, little kids running around and babies screaming, it would be great to have an adult pool and a family pool, and if your out in the pool area beware of the crows! But back to the beach, it's clean, relaxing and it was nice that the guy who takes care of the chairs and umbrellas explained that there isn't food and drink service to the beach, that's very misleading in the signage! Its been a week since I wrote an email to the manager and still not a peep, very disappointed with Hilton.

It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

Housekeeping staff are super kind, and anything we needed arrived quickly! The negative: Don't waste your money! We paid $400+ per night (amenities included, valet separate) and found out the hotel sells $45/day passes to non-guests. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.

(more expensive in high season) Late October is a good time to visit South Florida. It's not tourist season, but the weather is still great and accommodations are reasonable. In Deerfield Beach, restaurants are open late, and by late I mean midnight, 1am, 2am. Absolutely unheard of in California, and so very cool if your plane lands on the late side. From the Tropic Isle you can walk one block to the beach and a few blocks to town. The beach is wonderful and beach chairs and towels are included in your stay, as are kitchenettes. Well appointed except be aware no paper towels. Other than that everything you need is here, including a small pool, bbq and coin op washer/dryer. During my off-season stay it was quite quiet here, I imagine it's a bit more lively at other times. I wouldn't call this a "resort" exactly (housekeeping is provided only once a week for instance, tho you can swap out towels as needed) but more a very very nice motel...I hope to have the chance to return!

From the website photos they showed a beautiful view of the ocean through the balcony door (see attached photo). What I got was a 3rd floor room which was not only too low to see the ocean but had a blue film on the outside of the glass balcony door (see photo). In top of that, the "balcony" was barely large enough to step onto much less sit and enjoy the "ocean view". But it didn't really matter because the balcony door didn't open. I called the front desk and was told "sorry there's film on the glass and the balcony door can't be open because we're under construction." That would have been useful information when I booked the room and when I checked in. The manager agreed to waive the resort fee which I appreciate but it doesn't make up for the fact that this hotel willfully withholds the fact that a construction project is under way.

Want some peace and quiet? Think again. Nonstop construction noise from 9 AM to 5 PM--which, of course, they conveniently forget to mention until you've already checked in. Oh, and if you're lucky enough to be on the side of the hotel where the elevators don't work, get ready for a nice long walk across the entire building just to use the one that does. And let's not forget the 7 AM fire alarm testing--because who doesn't want to be jolted awake bright and early? At least you'll be up in time to watch the sunrise. This place feels like a complete bait and switch with zero regard for their guests' experience. Total disrespect for paying customers. The only redeeming quality? The staff was friendly. But that alone won't make up for this disaster of a stay.

Unfortunately, our stay ended on a very disappointing note. A personal item with sentimental value was mistakenly discarded during housekeeping despite being left on the desk away from any trash bin. We were told that nothing was taken from the room, which does not align with the fact that our trash bins were emptied during housekeeping. The item was never recovered. Front desk staff were courteous, but the situation was not fully resolved in a way that reflected the value of what was lost. I hope management takes this seriously and improves housekeeping procedures so guests' personal belongings are handled with more care going forward to prevent this from happening to other guests.
