I also have to shout out the amazing maintenance team. They are nice and helpful, and on numerous occasions have promptly respond to our requests for upkeep assistance, including a well organized and managed snow removal service.

The managers treat everyone like family which makes this place unique. They are courteous, professional, yet fun and VERY prompt with requests and suggestions. Note: because of the buildings being very new and privately owned, they are more expensive. However, you do get 9 foot ceilings, lots of room, in-house washers/dryers, central air, and the buildings are all energy efficient (our monthly electric bill hasn't passed $80 and we blast the AC almost all day everyday).

The alternative apartments were either: a) reasonable rent, generic with white walls, white carpeting, walled off Kitchenettes with old appliances b) high rent, well equipped with modern designs, fitness rooms (extra fees), tennis courts and outdoor pools Madison Place features apartments with a modern, open design. The kitchen faces out to the living area and has granite counter tops, new appliances and track lighting. Washer and dryer are tucked away nicely behind a sliding door. A bonus feature is the large storage closet directly across the hall from the apartment. It totally beats having to go to a storage cage in some creepy basement like most places. It's the kind of place where a successful professional would want to live. Madison purposefully lacks the outdoor amenities like a pool and tennis courts in favor of charging less for rent. I am always able to park close to my building with plenty of spots for company. In addition to the great design and reasonable rent, the office team, Jen and Mark, are incredibly good-natured, responsive and customer service oriented. I always leave the office with my questions answered and a smile on my face. Anytime I receive packages during the work day, I find them right outside the door of my second floor apartment. I could easily pick them up at the office, but having the staff bring them right to my place is a welcome luxury. Lastly, the couple times where I needed minor repairs, the maintenance guy, Eddie, completed the work the same day. Parking lots are well cleared during the snow. Essentially, if you want an upscale apartment for a generic apartment rent, with customer service oriented office / maintenance staff, I highly recommend MP in Shrewsbury.

Management is excellent at facilitating communication and responding to any issues that may arise, plus they are always friendly and extremely professional. Not only is the location excellent, and the building well maintained (and newly renovated!), but the neighbors are all very friendly and it's an excellent family friendly place to live. I've rarely had any issues that maintenance would need to address, but for those that have come up, they were resolved promptly and professionally with no hassle to me whatsoever. Overall, I would say this is one of the best values in the area in terms of the reasonable rent and the excellent management and maintenance. I would recommend living here to everyone looking for a newly renovated building in an excellent location with superb management - you can't ask for more!

Overall experience was less than mediocre…read more. During our stay under Capasso Realty for 3 years was about the same as any other apartment complex in the surrounding area. All apartment buildings have their ups and downs which is expected but we really found out who Capasso was once we were moving. During our finial three weeks Capasso managed to send people in to snoop inside our apartment I assume to check out if there were any damages or things out of place. I know this as they called us to schedule a viewing with the realtor and potential buyer, but as I sat outside on my phone all i saw was a lady with a notepad stroll into my "home" alone and come back out 15 minuets later. I mean, this may have been the new tenant if they just give out apartment keys to anyone interested in the new space without a realtor present. "Kidding" Also we were only 2 months away from our lease date, i asked if there was a way they would work with us on the breaking fee as its double what most people pay to break a lease. I was giving a no, which is fine. So the cost of breaking the fee was 2 months rent, $2800. That funny cause our rent was only $1325 which is $2650 for two months rent. I didn't know the extra parking spot "$75" which we paid extra for was also included in the breaking fee. So we basically paid for 2 months of parking spot fees after the time that we moved to our new home... Thats a nice little trick you got going on there Capasso. Kudos. Scheduling people to come and look at the apartment while we are moving stuff out that day? Well Played. We knew we would also have to pay to have them repaint the apartment which was fine as the color before was terrible. When i mentioned i saw something on a recent agreement letter for repainting after moving out was $100, I was laughed at over the phone and rudely told I was incorrect. I was told that they hire an outside painting service that comes in and repainting and would be charged for all supplies i was stunned. That would amount to quite a bit of money. We then asked for an itemized invoice so we would see what we where being charged for. The price was only $150, which is more than acceptable. Our "itemized" invoice was not a real invoice "looked liked a 10 year got ahold of an excel file and tried to open it with an outdate windows paint program" and solely has the work Paint and a dollar amount next to it. Guess I wasn't THAT far off from the original $100 mark was I Kim? The best part was whenever they wanted to show the apartment we had to be around to "show" the apartment. The realtor didn't have a key to let anyone in, until the finial last two people that they showed it to. We must have missed the part in our renewal contract where it started that the "Current tenants must play realtor in which case they agree to terminate their lease" #Funtimes2013. Oh I also forgot to mention the time when I was just about to be done with my shower and I heard a knock on the door. 10 seconds later as i was getting out to dry off and toss on my clothes and prepare myself for whoever just unlocked my front door and walked inside. Was I about to be robbed, or worse? I slowly open the door and prepare myself for the next event, Oh wait its a guy with a Capasso t-shirt on.... Hello sir, what are you doing inside my home? I'm here to see how much paint is needed to redo the walls he says.....I should have informed him that some people might take "More drastic" measures in a similar scenario, maybe like calling the cops while in the shower, or using a weapon if scared for their lives? I feel if the heights put cameras up, a lot of these issues would be resolved a lot quicker. I've had a lot of luck with the maintenance team specifically Marty everytime I need something done he is there to fix it day or night, The Heights couldn't ask for better Manager on their team. 5 Marty.
