I had such a great mommy/daughter day today at Aventus Nail Spa. Today was my daughter's first pedicure. It was a 5 star experience. We came in and waited about 15 minutes and picked out our nail colors. My daughter picked pink and purple and I got red for the holiday. We then went to sit and get our nails done. My daughter went first and her service went so well for a toddler. I was surprised how well she did for the nail service. Her colors were cute too. The service and nail tech was great as well! I then got my pedicure immediately after she was done. I had the basic pedicure since I am a basic girl. There are other options but ai had my kiddo with me and just needed something simple. My nail tech was wonderful as well. She did a great job taking care of my nails and I enjoyed my service with her. Did you know they do monthly events here too? I had to most luxury manicure and pedicure at Aventus today. I was a first time customer and was impressed with so many things; convenient location, friendly staff, stylish decor, the most comfortable manicure and pedicure chairs! Aventus offers so many color and product options. I opted for a dip manicure and a gel pedicure and they matched my colors perfectly. For my pedicure, my favorite part was the hot towels and hot stone massage. What a treat! While I was being serviced, I observed all of the staff socializing and enjoying themselves, which makes the world a difference in the customer experience. I would like to provide some feedback regarding my recent experience. If your goal is to attract more customers, especially families with children under the age of 16, I would strongly recommend reviewing your pricing structure. It would also be helpful to have a clearer and more detailed pricing guide available on your website so customers can better understand costs before scheduling services. I was very surprised by the pricing for children's services. The original quote for my 11-year-old's basic nail art service was $136, and my 4-year-old's service was $96. In my opinion, these prices are extremely high and comparable to what many salons charge adults. Since my daughter is leaving town soon and we are preparing for a vacation this Friday, I wanted to have her nails done beforehand. Unfortunately, due to the total cost, I was unable to get my own nails done. Had I done so, the bill would have been close to $400. Based on the salon's photos and presentation, I expected a more upscale experience. While the salon is certainly nice, I did not feel the services received justified the premium pricing. Had I known that several coworkers and friends had recommended other salons with comparable quality and more reasonable pricing, I likely would have chosen one of those options. I could have received services for my daughters, had my own nails done, and still had room in my budget for a larger gratuity. I sincerely hope the nails last as long as the technician indicated--approximately one month. I would like to specifically recognize the staff member who worked hard to help reduce the overall cost and also assisted me with plans for a future party reservation of seven people. Her thoughtfulness, patience, and dedication to customer service did not go unnoticed, and I greatly appreciated her efforts. She was truly exceptional and deserves recognition for her hospitality and professionalism. I would also like to compliment the reception staff. The younger receptionist was very kind and welcoming when we arrived, and the other receptionist who was assisting customers and speaking Vietnamese was also pleasant and professional. Both made an effort to create a welcoming environment and provided excellent customer service. On the other hand, my experience with some of the nail technicians was less positive. Initially, they were not particularly welcoming, there was very little interaction, and I felt somewhat rushed throughout the appointment. Additionally, my daughters did not receive cuticle care, hot towels, lotion application, or hand massages with their manicures, which I expected based on the services being purchased. There was also confusion regarding pricing. I initially understood the manicure and pedicure pricing to be $75 and $45, respectively. However, I later learned there were additional charges, including approximately $20 for nail art. If a simple French tip and a small bow sticker on a 4-year-old's nails qualifies as a $20 nail art charge, I find that pricing difficult to justify. That said, I do appreciate that one of the nail technicians kindly added complimentary stickers to my daughter's big toes with her gel polish service. Ultimately, I do not believe I will be returning. The total cost of approximately $280 for two children under 11 years old felt excessive for the services received. The services included Gel-X, French tips, two small starfish designs (one on each hand), gel polish on nails and toes, sticker bows on one child, and solid-color polish on the toes. However, there was no cuticle care, hot towel treatment, lotion application, or massage included with the manicures. While I appreciate the efforts of several staff members who were welcoming and accommodating, the overall value did not align with the final cost. I made a last-minute appointment for a Mani/Peti and they were very accommodating. My pedicure was good, maybe a little rushed but I understood since I came in so late. My manicure though was absolutely perfect! I had a design picked out on Pinterest and V, the nail tech, did such an amazing job. She was meticulously detailed. My nails have never looked this good. I was a walk-in after spotting it while running errands. The place is large with at least 20 chairs for pedicures, and very clean. The music was upbeat and not too loud. It did not smell like chemicals as so many places do. The staff were very friendly and professional, offering water and tea several times. The man who worked on my feet asked numerous times if anything hurt or the water was too hot. My toes look and feel great, ready for the beach. I'll definitely be back. read more
