Bring a fan or chairs to set up outside if you're not watching in your car. Recommend to buy your tickets a head of time: the attendant can help purchase tickets but the way also check for your headlights to turn off during the movie. Tickets don't open until the day or so before movie. Audio comes on a FM radio channel- car battery needs to be on or bring a radio. We arrived @ 7:30 for a 9:00 PM movie, there was already a line for prime spots but it's worth getting there with about 1.5 hours to give to allow for checkin, finding a decent spot, and getting set up/going to the bathroom (porta potties were quite clean). They have a small concessions stand and one food truck when I went. Ground was wet so had to deal with a not so great parking or walking to the porta potty situation. Very barebones place but you get the experience you prepare for!

We showed up right at 7:30 to make sure we got a good spot, but honestly it didn't get full until closer to 8/8:30. Unfortunately there weren't any food trucks, but the concession stand had plenty of snacks. The movie was great, with not too many interruptions & I like that there were a lot of families there! Now considering there were families there I was kind of bummed when it all of a sudden started to smell real loud . People hotboxing their cars, couples smoking outside, but the best part was the EMPLOYEES smoking a blunt in the back. By the back I mean near the port-a-potties that are located in the back of the small parking lot. These weren't kids in high school that were tryna be cool, these were grown adults. Do what you want. Do it at home. But don't be bringing it around little KIDS & especially when it's your place of employment.

Our waitress was Zoe and she set the bar high! As soon as we were seated Zoe hurried to our table to take our drink orders and since it was our first time, she gave us a little history about the restaurant and walked us through the menu and her favorites, she even offered us a tour of the place. I was truly amazed by the attention she gave us. The food came out extra hot and fresh I ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop 18oz, my hubby had the New York Strip 14oz and my daughter had Sliders from the kid's menu. The Pork Chop was so juicy, tender and full of flavor, I just loved the smokey flavor. The steak was made to his liking and was also juicy a thick cut and the mashed potatoes paired with these entrees are some of the best I have had. The whiskey cake was moist and you could definitely taste the whiskey in it, yum! Ambiance, this place was neat it almost felt like an experience. Zoe mentioned that the place had original hardwood floors since the place opened and was the only establishment near the railroad during the 1900s. The restaurant has multiple floors and plenty of seating. There is always plenty of parking, even if you have to walk a block or two, but they do have paid parking around the corner. We obviously enjoyed this restaurant so much we have returned multiple times, but nobody has topped Zoe's customer service.

Inside you'll find some very cool art and antique details that will bring you back in time. The food was good, very southern comfort, and heavily plated, so be ready to eat. We had two dishes but we still left with to go containers that we enjoyed in the late evening. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they give you a great history of the restaurant and some great recommendations. My personal favorite was the Mac n cheese which paired well with all the fried food.

Trey got me ready for my big day!…read more Had to fly to Houston for my wedding and wasn't sure where to get a haircut. Found this place highly recommended and I saw people racing about Trey constantly. I have really dry, coarse, wavy hair and really wanted to find someone who could not only cut hair well, but also give me advice on how to care for it so it doesn't look like a hay bail on my head after a few weeks. Needless to say, Trey didn't disappoint :) He not only provided a great haircut, but took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on with my hair, what to do / what not to do, and educated me on what to look for in products so that my hair could be properly hydrated. For the first time in my life my hair is actually soft and I couldn't be happier! He also gave me his card so I could message him in case I had any questions. Definitely went above and beyond, took his time and really cared. Thanks again Trey! I know where I'll be going next time I'm in H town

When asked if I wanted a "quick blow dry", I replied yes, assuming it was part of service. I've never left a salon with wet hair. When the receipt arrived- it was $70 for the "quick blow dry". This was my 1st visit and maybe should have been alerted to this extra service charge. This bordered on deceptive.
