AeroStar initially tried to deny it by applying new rules introduced after my enrollment. Only after a long email exchange did they finally approve the refund. However, the refund was still not processed. After I posted honest reviews about my experience, AeroStar contacted me and asked me to remove them, assuring me that the refund would finally be released. Acting in good faith, I removed the reviews immediately. I was then told that the refund had already been processed and would appear in my account within 3-5 business days. It never arrived. Weeks turned into months. When I requested proof of payment, none was provided. Instead, I was referred to the bookkeeping department, which never gave any explanation or response. More than six months have now passed, and I still have not received my refund. I am attaching screenshots of the email correspondence, including: 1. The original refund policy. 2. The attempt to deny my refund using new rules. 3. The final refund approval. 4. AeroStar's request to remove my reviews before releasing the refund. 5. Their confirmation that the refund had already been processed. 6. My follow-up after another two weeks with no payment. 7. The final email exchange, where no proof of payment or meaningful explanation was ever provided. The screenshots include the original dates and my real name. Everything described above is supported by the attached emails. Please read them and draw your own conclusions. In my opinion, AeroStar kept money that they had both a contractual obligation and a written commitment to refund. The kids and I celebrated my birthday with a hot air balloon ride with Aerostat. We had a great…read moretime! This was our first experience with ballooning and we didn't know what to expect, but Ellen and Gene were super helpful in walking us through the process, and thoroughly answering all of our (well, mainly me..) questions. The flight was very smooth from take-off to landing! Gene did a great job piloting the balloon and Ellen flawlessly provided ground crew support. Unlike the aerial views from an airplane, where it's difficult to see the details of terrain because of the higher altitude, the aerial views from the hot air balloon were very clear and distinguishable. We flew over the Champion's Gate area and the flight lasted about 50 minutes. I brought my DSLR camera, but an modern mobile phone camera would work just as well. Although, at that height, I wish I had a neck strap for my iPhone.. Couple of other things from memory to share: - Our ride started at 6:15 am, which was really cool because we got to watch the sunrise in the balloon - At the altitude we were flying at (~400 ft), it was not cold in the gondola (balloon basket) as I initially expected. It was actually somewhat hot - because when the pilot triggers the propane burner to heat the air, the hot air radiates in all directions - including heating the air above the basket. - We had very calm winds, so the balloon was moving between 5-10 mph. I didn't initially know what speed to expect, but the slower speed made for a very smooth ride. - Ballooning is a regulated industry, so operators must perform annual inspections on their equipment. I felt safe the entire time. - Gene has over 9 yrs experience as a balloon pilot so he's well-trained. I was thoroughly impressed by how smooth the landing was. - You meet up the Aerostat crew at a predetermined location, and they take you in a van to the launch site and they drive you back. - At the end of the flight, they provide you with champagne, orange juice, and some cookies as a token of appreciation for flying with them. I would definitely fly with Aerostat in the future.

The AntiGravity Orlando is being housed in the old Movie Rider building off of 1-92. The facade of the building is dark and when we walked up, we weren't even sure they were actually open. There was no clear box office or person manning the booth and although we were welcomed by a gentleman, I wasn't sure if he were associated with the theatre or just an inebriated patron. There is a cash bar area over to the left of the theatre serving beer, wine and a few cocktails. Also available are 4 types of hot hors d'oeuvres for around the $4. mark each. I found out that the bar and food is catered by Houlihan's. The smell of the hors d'oeuvres was really cloying as the evening progressed and by mid show I was wishing for the smell to disappear. The show's acts of "anti-gravity" are woven together with a schmaltzy story and narrator. I do not blame the actor, but the script itself made the boyfriend and I roll our eyes and wish for the mic system to fail. It was a "clean" show, however several comments were made to audience members that were out of line. The theatre itself is too small to house the performers and to really see what they were doing I had to crane my neck. There is really no good seat in the house. The surroundings feel grimy, mirrors are cracked and low lighting just adds to the derelict feel. Although I can tell what the designer was aiming for, it just feels poorly executed. Full priced tickets are right at the $40 dollar mark for adults and $25 for children. Thankfully, we were invited to see the show free of charge, as to have been out of pocket for $80 bucks would have been upsetting. If you've never seen aerial acrobatics anywhere else, and you will never be able to see one of the other large and well known troupes, then by all means see this show. Just be prepared for a slightly grungier experience than you were expecting, and I wouldn't buy tickets for too far in the future.
