This is the 3rd nail salon to go into this location. The one prior was called Golden Nails. It is convenient which is why I thought I would try out this newly remodeled nail salon. I had been in April with my Mom prior to the remodel. My nail technician was training someone and did not pay much attention to me. However, she did a great job. I went back a few weeks ago (early September 2024). I had a different nail tech - a young lady named Vi (sp?) When you check in at the iPad you choose which service(s) you want. I chose a collagen manicure for $28. This included per their website: "Nail trimming, shaping, buffing, cuticle grooming, collagen gloves with extended massage, and polish." When I showed Vi my nails she said I needed the gel polish. I was fine with using gel polish and agreed I tried talking with her but she was standoffish. She even turned on a show on her phone - no earbuds just right there loudly playing next to her. I decided to watch TV which caused me to crane my neck sideways due to the way it was positioned on the wall and the angle of the station I was seated in. However - the show was an Asian cooking show. I love food but know your clientele - maybe a Hallmark movie or something on Lifetime. Plus it was in another language so I had no idea what was going on. Ugh! Vi finished my polish and then abruptly said that "get lotion" and that I was done ... Wait what? No cuticle treatment, no collagen wrap, no hand massage. And the best part - instead of being $28 it was $68!!! I will not go back. There are too many other places that are professional, kind, and don't up charge. read more

These are my real nails I came ask for the basic manicure pedicure. The cheapest one because I I was on budget in a small tiny design. the job felt very rushed and kept adding stuff without telling me is gonna cost some money. And for my toes, I asked for the same thing a basic just with my toes done I'm thinking I'm going to pay around from the math that I added I was supposed to pay around 75 somehow they keep adding stuff till they got to 100 and I paid 100 for this. I don't mind paying 100 if it's worth it but this... I could've did this at home by myself. Disappointed this is the second time I've been disappointed in this nail salon. Last time I came they treated me differently because I was not paying too much. All I was getting was removing nails that's it. They treat you based on how much you pay. Unprofessional. This salon is the closest one to me, but I'd rather drive somewhere else. read more

This was my first visit to this salon and, my last. The man barely spoke English. He called another lady over to translate. I told her that I need a fill in. She told me that because I already had powder fill that they had to start from scratch. I believed her because I never had this done to my nails before. Terrible experience today, I was kept waiting 1 hour past my appointment time. They switched personnel halfway through my dip powder nail service. When I checked out, they added an extra $5.00 to my $28.00 pedicure for the grating of the dry skin on my feet. This should have been included in the service. When I tried to discuss this with the owner/manager, she wouldn't even look up from her work on another customer's nails To talk to me, she completely ignored me. She was so rude and unprofessional. Ivy did a great job on my nails, but unfortunately I can't tolerate her rude boss. My two services together came to $68.00 and they still charged the extra $5.00 fee for the grating which they did not inform me about in the beginning. Recently went with my young daughter. They are friendly but I don't think they really care how they do your nails. charging $30.00 for a child's pedicure and an additional $30.00 just to put polish on her nails is ridiculous. I got a full set in which was horrible. I hate my nails, halfway polished due to rushing and terrible shaping. i paid $125 in total and went back to get them fixed. The lady paint over a terrible paint job, not to mention my nails were lifting from only being there less than 4 days, she filed them so ruff my fingers hurt. Will not recommend nor go back. Would have given it no stars but it wasnt an option. The pedicure was good but was left in the back for damn near an hour only to be spotted by the nice lady doing the trash. When I told her what I came for an older gentleman started fussing in vietnamese at his daughter/translator not to do my nails this continued for 10 mins as I sat looking and and wondering who was going to do my nails. This is my nail go to nail place. I've lived here for over a year now and gone to 3 different locations and they were trash. But Golden Nails is absolutely amazing. Nancy (the owner) is wonderful! I have had good experiences with gel nails from Lee and Jessica. The salon is clean and beautifully decorated. The only negative is calling for an appointment, getting an answering machine, and not getting a call back. Sometimes it takes more than one call to make contact. The woman who did my pedicure did NOT speak English. Therefore it was hard to communicate to her that I needed my cuticles and toenails cut back. Now they will continue to grow in uneven and painful. I will not return. She was nice enough, all she did was smile. I HIGHLY doubt this woman is a TRAINED nail tech. read more

Ok first off they said to pickout my color then I could go to the back of the store to sit down and get a pedicure. So I went to the back of the store and I waited for about 5 minutes for them to get my water ready so I could sit down. And the worst part was they had more than enough employees for me and my friend. The overall pedicure was OK but when the woman filed my nails it was very painful. While the staff is friendly enough, my feet were scrubbed with soft soap (literally the brand 'soft soap') using a very rough brush during my pedicure . I had just showered so my feet were clean (not visibly dirty). There was no massage or any of the usual 'fluff' that goes along with a pedicure (hot towels, anything added to the water, etc) and I wasn't offered any other menu to choose anything above a basic service. My SNS Powder is holding up well, but I asked for a manicure and I was disappointed that I did not receive this. I was told it was something about the powder process but I've always gotten manicures with my SNS at other locations so I don't understand the issue. Since my cuticles weren't pushed back or trimmed, the powder is chipping away around my cuticle and catches my hair- so I have to go get them removed and done again somewhere else. read more

Disappointed that I am having to write this review. I have been going to Golden nails for about a year and have referred them to many people. Kate was awesome. She was thorough and nice and easy to talk to. As time has gone on she has not done such a good job. Me and two friends went to get our nails done a couple of weeks ago and we were talking and when we were done with my nails I noticed she didn't give me a manicure. I mentioned it and she told me I could come back in a week. I didn't want to come back in a week. I normally get my nails done every three weeks. One of my gel nails peeled off all the way so I went back 5 days later. She removed the color and manicured my hands. I asked her if it was going to be discounted and she said $5. So after I paid for my mails 5 days prior and my $5 "discount" I ended up paying $60 for one manicure. So I brushed it off and went back a week later to get my toes done. Kate did my pedicure and did not speak the whole time and when she was finished she just got up and walked to the back without saying a word. She did not say by or take my money or anything! My friend was also unhappy with her nails for the 2nd time! When someone makes an error they should admit it and fix the issue free of charge especially when we are returning customers. Sadly we are taking our business elsewhere. I was very disappointed in how the quality of work and quality of communication has gone down hill. read more
