This mechanic overcharges for both parts and labor and does not honor the warranty. I brought my car in for a suspension noise and was charged $2,240 for repairs, including a left lower control arm, inner tie rod, bushings, valve cover gasket, and an alignment. Four days later, the exact same noise returned. When I brought the car back, instead of honoring their work, the mechanic claimed it was "something else" and demanded another $800 plus an additional alignment--even though I had already paid over $2,000. When I asked about the warranty, they said it only applies to the specific parts replaced, not whether the problem was actually fixed. Paying thousands of dollars and having the same issue return in less than a week is completely unacceptable. I kept the repair order and documentation, and if this is not resolved, I will be filing a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Please get a second opinion before spending money here. He is a scam. See my invoice. Additionally, the invoice states the oil change was "free." Really? No reputable mechanic provides a free service. Females, beware: he appears to take advantage of customers who don't know much about auto repairs. There are other reviews where they have needed to get the BAR involved. I ma have missed reading these reviews.

Despite the severe damage, they finished the repairs in just about two weeks, and my car looks exactly like it did before the accident! Throughout those two weeks, they sent me regular email updates along with photos so I could see the progress. When I picked up the car, they gave me a thorough explanation of the work done and assured me that if any future issues arise related to this accident, they will repair it for free. Joe was referred to us and provided a thorough and quick response. He quoted us the option to repair what was there as well as the option to fully switch it out. His explanations sounded knowledgeable and to-the-point. So I felt I could trust him to fix what was there. The price sounded very reasonable, so we agreed and dropped the car off. STAY AWAY! Joe's…read morebody shop used to do great quality work but since there has been a change in ownership (8/1/2023) the quality of work has plummeted. Long story short, the person in the first picture, Andrew (new owner/manager/snake) agreed to fix my 22 Nissan Sentra within a month at most. That 1 month promise transformed into a painful 4 months and the car was still not complete. I finally had enough of the run-around and decided to take my car elsewhere. At the time I went to retrieve my car, I asked Andrew to return my deposit but he refused to return it. His reasoning was that the vehicle had already been worked on. Eventually, the situation deteriorated to the point of him threatening me and telling me to "get the fuck out of here". Do not trust him! He is a snake and will give you every excuse under the sun about his failure to fulfill his obligations. He will never take any accountability or responsibility for his inadequacies. It is a huge shame to see Joe's lifetime of hard work to build his store's reputation get ruined by someone of such a weak character.
