One said someone would call in 24hrs (no one has) another told me to drive to the Tyrone location and swap it out( I left work early to find a sign that said closed for the day). I then drove to another location and they seemed to not really care. I then called a number I found online filing another complaint, but here I am still driving around in a car that literally has someone's hazardous waste in it.

The problem started when I tried to call and rent a car for 2 days. After 24 hours had passed and…read moreno one called me back I rented the car through their online system and prepaid. Go in to pick up the car and it took over 45 minutes because they had the reservation printed out but could no figure out their computer. Please keep in mind I have already printed out my insurance and had my car ready for the security deposit. They proceeded to take a long time to call my insurance to verify deductibles. In the meantime they ran out of the Chevy Aveo or similar I had purchased. They let me know they were going to have to 'upgrade' me to a full size at no charge since the online system was giving them issues, yet they still had the reservation so I was confused. The 'upgrade' to the full size turned out to be an '03 Bonneville with purple tint. I take it as a trooper and later discover the car's alignment is way off and pulls off to the right, the interior lights do not work and the mirrors on the shades were gutted out. I called ahead and let them know the problem and let me know they can speak to the manager to see if she can do anything for when I drop it off. When I drop it off the manager would not discount it any more because 'They already gave me a deal giving me the full size at the economy price of $27.95 a day'. Some how them not managing what cars came in and out turned out to be my fault. The manager did not care about the issues and let me know she would put it in the shop but cosmetics like being able to see in the car at night were not a concern. In the end they refunded me an extra $10. This to me was not a good enough fix to all the liniency I showed and tried to deal with. I would highly recommend NOT going or wasting your time with this rental company.

I reserved a specific car in advance, but when I arrived, this location had no cars available. The owner/operator, Ricardo DiPego, told me to sit and wait for a customer to return a car. When I asked a couple of reasonable questions, he was unbelievably rude and dismissive--he clearly couldn't have cared less about helping me. Ultimately, I had to take an Uber to another rental company just to get a car. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all costs. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!

The Hispanic employee at this location told me that because I was younger than 25 years old I needed the hertz "package" which included insurance on the vehicle from hertz as well as roadside assistance. Meanwhile, he knew I had my own car insurance and I also have AAA so I didn't need either of those "requirements". I was lied to and mislead. To top it all off, this same employee told me one month later that this was not the case and his supervisor stated that none of his employees would ever say that because it's absurd. Meanwhile, that very same lying employee told my father (via the phone) that the reason I chose Hertz was because I needed the car insurance. This man is clearly uninformed of his competitors because every rent a car offers insurance for purchase when renting the vehicle. Well guess what, it's a shop full of liars and uneducated individuals. Don't rent a car from here, especially if you are a female. You will get taken advantage of.

When unexpected charges posted to the bank account and inquiry was made as to why, they lied about what the charges were for multiple times. First they said it was for gas until they were told there were pictures/proof of what the tank was when car was issued. Then said it was just a hold and not a charge until insurance paid the bill, which was also a lie and confirmed by the bank. Then was told the cost of the car was higher than what was told at the time of renting the car. They refused to reimburse the money. Also never received the deposit back on top of the extra bill they charged and what insurance paid. Invoice received showed "Deposit" amount when car was picked up and "Deposit" amount when car was dropped off. No explanation of why there was a second "Deposit" or what that charge was for. Go to a different location. The people at this location, including the manager, are dishonest.
