    Dripping wet car , see under it too. After 45 min wait for it ! This is how they give it to us

    Rude staff, car not ready although our reservation was confirmed earlier ! When we arrive , we were told " the car is being washed"! It took 45 min to wash the car then the car was brought to us soaking wet . This delay led us to be late for an even we were suppose to get in . I was a person who seems like a manager, I reached out for his help, he was more rude than his staff ( just in case you wonder why the staff are behaving this way )! I won't recommend this place !!!!

    So the lady came from behind the counter to redirect 3 people.

Between Brooklyn and Queens we had to drive back and forth a total of 6 times- in three round trips. Also cost me more to pay my movers to extend their time to complete the move with me.  The time frame for the rental was extended for the entire 9 hour time frame and mileage went over the included base mímate amount and cost of the gas refill.  I made my reservation THREE WEEKS in advance. There is definitely expectations for things to be prepared properly! The van was truly unacceptable, if it wasn't absolutely necessary for me to relocate I would've canceled it all. The site gave me an alert for all other locations that were UNABLE to accommodate a ten footer, I did not get that alert for the location I selected, how could the location not review their pending orders correctly and efficiently be prepared for their customers.  Also the website to leave a public customer review isn't working, very convenient for y'all. I will be reporting this entire experience to the Better Business Bureau as well. I need a 50% off price adjustment or a full refund for this most unreliable service. I am truly disappointed with my entire experience. Also when I was present for the return, I asked the location person for his name and he gave me John Smith And was very disgusting with me and told me to shut my mouth when I was expressing my disappointment with the lack of proper service or empathy. He gave me the key and said the van is parked around the corner. He didn't do a walk around. I used the van for 1 hour with less than 3 miles. Brought the van back exactly as I got it, told him I parked back around the corner. He didn't check it again. When I got home I got an email with charges for damages, they overcharged for gas and added miles all adding up $240. My actual charge supposed to be $65 but that wasn't enough for them. Called Uhaul, they said they can't doing anything about it. So basically these ppl can add whatever charges they want and uhaul doesn't check the vans

    I don't normally re-review a place after only a week, but my recent experience over this past…read moreweekend really made an impact, and it deserves recognition. First, I can not get over how much the costumer service and experience of using both the storage facility (I just upgraded my unit) and truck rental (I just rented a van) have improved over the last six months. Really, it's impressive, and as a frequent customer, it makes a huge difference. This weekend, I got to experience two amazingly great employees, and a reaffirmation of the young woman who helped me the previous time. But before I get to that I gotta say something before I go on. There was an elevator glitch over the weekend. Here's a news flash, elevators have glitches. And, it's not the fault of the people working at the counter. There is no excuse for customers (or anyone) getting nasty and in their face in the rudest, most ignorant ways. BRAVO to the U-Haul staff who remained calm, pleasant and accommodating, despite the lack of respect being shown them. They were 100% professional and did their jobs with complete customer care. I applaud them. Here's another news flash. My last apartment was in a brand new doorman building in Manhattan that I paid an exorbitant amount for rent. And guess what, the elevators had glitches. They went down. They needed service. My old office was in a pretty pricey, newly renovated, top of the line building in downtown. Guess what? The elevators had glitches. Is it irritating, sure. But, get over it. Now back to why I'm writing this. My check in to rent my truck and pick up my new card key was so smooth. Effortless, thanks to Jason R, who I'll come back to in a moment (and Viviana, who proved yet again that she was worth the praise in my original review.) When I got back, I accidentally dropped my key in the men's room and it got locked in there, It was just after the office closed, and it looked like I'd be shut out. But I knocked on the door and Sean, who's always on top of his game, and he unlocked the door and quickly made me a new card key. Problem solved. THAT is the kind of service you get at this U-Haul facility. But, here is what really impressed me. There was an elevator glitch. And I went back to the office, which was already closed. However, Jason R was coming out of the building and I asked him what was going on. He explained the situation, which was something completely out of their control. He was so apologetic and tried to figure out what my various options were. I think he expected me to be all upset or annoyed, and maybe I would have been, if he hadn't been such a great employee who simply took time to show compassion and genuine concern. Getting upset never even crossed my mind. Things happen that are beyond our control in life, but it's the way people (and companies and their employees) handle them that are within our control. Fortunately at this U-Haul facility, they handle it like professionals with the customers best interest at heart.

They supposed to show up to my apartment by 10am, called me at 10:30 and said they have to go to somewhere else to pick up truck because of "U-Haul's fault." Obviously I could check the location even in my confirmation email. He said he's gonna come at 11:30, and NEVER PICKED UP PHONE CALL FOR 2HOURS, NEVER TEXTED BACK. Again he called me back at 12:30 and he said he has to CANCEL THE RESERVATION. No apology, according to him, nothing was he's fault. I was trying to complain, and he hung up on me. Very rude, unprofessional guy. Now I have to find another company in last minute. Just don't want it to be happen to any other person.

    I literally never post reviews, but wow I hated my experience with Budget. Sorry this is going to…read morebe a lot but PLEASE READ. This was the worst experience I've ever had with any company. First of all, when I went to pick up my moving truck, the POOR lady was working by herself and it took over an hour to get my truck. I felt so bad for her! While she was helping me, a line for 7 people piled up and she seemed so stressed. Clearly a lack of managerial assistance. I also reserved a twelve foot truck and they only had sixteen foot trucks. Why did I reserve something 4 weeks ahead of time only to not be given what I wanted??? Anyways, I get in my truck and the inside is FILTHY. With COVID-19 I would have thought it would have been properly cleaned and sanitized, but clearly not. Needless to say, a whole can of Lysol and Clorox wipes was used on my end to clean it as much as possible. As I'm driving down i-26 I notice a weird light comes on. As I am a young woman who knows nothing about cars, I did not think much of it and waited until I got gas to check it out. I soon realized that the light meant I had NO GAS CAP! Not only did this cause me to lose so much gas from evaporation but also wasted so much time as I had to stop so frequently. I called Budget's roadside assistance and they said I could either wait on the side of the road for an hour or two for someone to bring me a gas cap or I could buy my own so clearly I just bought my own. I then returned my truck to a location in Jamaica, NY (in Queens) only to find that the place is closed so I cannot tell anyone about my issues with the gas cap or that I wanted money back. I called and called for days but no one answered. I then get charged $58 because I returned the truck with half a tank which I was told I could do because that's how much gas it had when I got it. When I called the 1-800 number the man told me that I needed to tell the people where I dropped it off about my issues which I clearly could not do because they have not answered for a week. I finally am receiving money back from this whole fiasco almost two weeks later. Please do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for Penske!!! Budget is HORRIBLE.
