Nothing wrong with the people working here. Literally the kindest people. But the company as a whole? AWFUL! I can't even explain how many horrible experiences we have had here. We RESERVE a car on the app, and then come to find there is no car available? Then why is it available to reserve on the app months in advance and no one bothers to even communicate with us that it was not there. We were almost late to our flight once because we were relying on a rental that we RESERVED that was not available to us. Once our car smelled like weed. Another time we had a huge crack in our windshield. I just wish the company as a whole would do better for the sake of their paying customers. By far worst costumer service ! There were two ladies working. I made a reservation through the phone and they told me to go ahead and go because they had cars, given it was close to closing time at 4 - the lady on the phone said "you're okay to head over" it was 3:50. When I got there I got out of the car and as soon as I stepped in the premises they closed the gate . They saw I was walking up there ... (3:57pm) * I also hate being that last minute customer but this is an emergency because enterprise ran out of cars in both locations. * not only that but they stepped out of the office at 4:02pm! There was no way in heck I was going to pick up my rental when those two were already ready to walk out. A man arrive right after me too and he was just returning and they said Nope! Come tomorrow. This is why I nvr rent with Avis . Their service has always been terrible and I'd much rather pay a extra for better customer service anywhere else. read more

When I picked up my car we had the sweetest lady who gave me a free upgrade and was so helpful. When we returned it the man working was the most rude person ever. He wanted to charge me because I didn't vacuum and because there was dirt on the tires. Will never recommend this place to anyone because of how awful he treated us. read more

This is the best car rental yard in antelope valley hands down!! I have been coming here on a Saturday or Sunday for six weeks straight. I usually get Sheri or Kaylee they are both spot on for customer service!! No matter how long the line they come out and acknowledge you are there and tell you they will be with you quickly and they do just that. They work as a team and share the car cleaning as well. They call all of their regulars by name I've noticed. Today Kaylee cam outside and seen I was returning and picking up again so she collected my ID and card and multitasked myself with others. She promptly came back outside and had me on my way!!! If you are tired of standing around at enterprise and waiting for a clean car way after you signed for the car come here!! You will not be disappointed. All the cars are nice and super clean. Love this place and all that run it. Well worth the drive here. read more

Never had a problem with these guys, The employees there are amazing, incredible experience every time I go in. I have seen more issues with Customers ignorance then the employees at this place. Only one time have I had a reservation and they didn't have a car in the size that I asked so they gave me an upgrade. The building they are in, is a little small and can get crowded (the only reason I am docking them a star) but that says more for Avis itself and not the people that work there. I have been going their for years now, they know my name, they greet me when I enter the building. I would absolutely recommend Avis and this location, especially over enterprise. read more

I visited today with a reservation made for a mid sized car. When I showed up with my confirmation number, THE RUDEST EMPLOYEE literally ruined my day. I had plans to go to Vegas and when I showed her my confirmation number she said it was not valid and she would not give me a car. She told me she could do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. She blew me off and did it with the worst attitude. People like this are so horrible to deal with. Please do not contribute to such filth! read more

Awful experience with The supervisor Albert! Starting off , I called in to get the exact amount of the rental ,of course when I got there it was a different story, The car I was rented transmission light came on , I called in to let them know I didn't even get an apology ,oh and not to mention I was on my way to clients for work , I given two choices on what I can do , which wouldve inconvenienced me even more , a poor attitude and no refund , I should've known better because even the outside of the location looks ran down and suspect! this Avis was the worse experience I've ever had. When I turned the car back in the next morning, the employee was a rude obnoxious person. They charged me $145.97, for a one day rental of a Ford Escape, then when I turned it in they claimed it had been smoked in and charged a $255.55 cleaning fee. that's right fokes just over 400.00 and the vehicle was brought back in perfect condition. I am going to see what legal recourse I have in this matter. My advise, don't ever go here! read more

This place has horrible customer service they rented me a car with a foul odor told me to go to another car place that Avis owns and lie to to them and tell them that my brakes were bad so that I can get a new car and not to tell them that the car wreaked of a foul odor there was no manager on site that I can speak to regarding this situation they would not give me a refund of my money due to the fact I drove off the lot in a car that they said they knew had a foul odor the woman laughed in my face and said she knew that it had a foul odor and she sprayed it with freBreeze but yet still rented the car to me it took me 6 hours to get in a car that was acceptable I had to visit 3 different avis this Lancaster location 221 another Lancaster location off of 10th Street West and Avenue K and then another location in Palmdale which for every trip I took in each car I had to put gas in it due to their inconveniences just very unprofessional very ghetto I'm very disappointed that I even shared any cash with these people I would never never never recommend anyone to go here I highly recommend a fire and rehire of a new staff and New Management this place is disgusting read more

If there is a zero rate, I would not hesitate to rate them zero! Earlier this year (in Jan) I made a reservation. On the day/time I suppose to pick the car up, I called them about 30 min ahead of time to confirm, the lady answered the phone said the car is ready. About 30 min later, when I showed up, she told me there is NO car or me. I was shocked. More, her attitude was rude and NOT willing to do anything to get this resolved, as if I made a mistake. All she said was "we don't have the car, you can either wait or go home and we will call you". I was thinking "are you kidding me?". I bet her lie is miserable just as her attitude. I imagine she is no longer there anymore and after been fired 10,000 times, she is on the street now. Absolutely no more Avis, especially not that location for me! read more

If I could give a ZERO I would!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER with the RUDEST person!!!! I walked in to return the vehicle and stood waiting for a full 4 minutes before being acknowledged...mind you there were TWO people standing BEHIND the counter speaking to each other acting as though I was invisible and I was the ONLY person in the place! Before I drove into to the lot the tire pressure light came on...it's been in the 20's at night so I didn't think anything about it. The customer service person Goia "Joyuhh" wrote an incident report as though I had been in an accident??!!??! I explained to her that there was no "incident" it was simple one less pound of tire pressure as the indicator said in the car...three tires read 30psi and one had 29psi!! She would not hear any of it she wrote the incident paper handed it to me and wanted me out of her face. She handed me another paper which stated I should contact my insurance company to make a claim...FOR WHAT??? I walked to my car re-reading the incident paperwork which she wrote: "tire light came on" as the so called "incident" and I walked back in, she then became extremely rude when I said there was no incident and that I didn't agree with this paperwork and I wanted it removed. I was raising my voice because she was being "nice, nasty" she then said "this conversation is over" I said...NO...you will remove that paperwork to which she refused...put her finger up and said "like I said this conversation is over". When I asked her to write down her name she said she would only AFTER she helped everyone in line who by the way had walked in AFTER me!! I have NEVER been spoken to in this manner and treated so poorly. I'm not sure what the purpose of the incident report is for especially since tire pressure is not damage!!! Tire pressure is NOT covered by insurance!!! I will NEVER use this place ever again and I am contacting the district manager, judging by the comments here Goia is a PROBLEM employee who does not know how to do her job....she should NOT work here!! read more
