It was gorgeous, clean and well-stocked with beach supplies. The communication with Princeville Vacation Rentals was top-notch! I planned this trip for almost a year and I was always impressed by PVR. Whenever I had a question, they were quick to respond. All communication was done via email before our stay and went smoothly. Not long before our trip, I requested to add one more days stay and it was no problem at all. The check in process upon arrival was easy thanks to the directions provided. When we left the home after vacation, my Husband learned that he had left his wedding ring at the home. He was on the flight home when he realized it. PVR went above and beyond to locate his ring and return it to us! I can't tell you how grateful we are to the staff and housekeeping of PVR. Beautiful cars pictured in beautiful surroundings is far from actuality. Unfortunately, between the time I booked my car and signed the contract and the actual time of my rental, this business changed hands. I had been told I would get a car about 5-6 years old. What I got was a 14 year old, dusty smelling car with a hood that looked like it had been splashed with acid! I'm sure Paul & Elise would never take their beautiful daughters for a ride in that jalopy!! I had been told Ahukini Flats was a parking lot and that my car would be in a numbered spot. The numbered spot was true, HOWEVER, Ahukini Flats is a creepy, desolate field. A schlocky run business for sure! From 2 phone calls not answered upon our arrival, to being told we got a GREAT price on that 14 year old Nissan Rogue, numbers written incorrectly on the contract and registrations for 3 vehicles (ours and 2 others??) in the glove box, we would never recommend this business! And to think if I had gone through Wisecars (great business) I could have gotten a 0-2 year old Nissan Rogue for only $35 more. LIVE AND LEARN

I am writing this review because the service both my brother and I received from Therese at Serenity was awesome! My brothers home rental was clean, well stocked, great location and priced right! The property manager was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of her way to make sure that our family had everything they needed for a great stay. My husband and I had rented a much more expensive home through Kauai Vacation Rentals. To contrast, our rental was not cleaned, the yard was overgrown, no beach chairs, umbrellas or beach toys were available. There were not enough towels, electricity was turned off in one of the master bedrooms and it was clear when we arrived that they were not expecting us even though we had booked the place 9 months earlier! I would return to Anini Beach in a minute, but I would only use Serenity Vacation Homes to book our home rental. You will love the location, the setting and the amenities offered! You will also appreciate the service you receive from Serenity.

I ride about 200 miles a month at home, and had concerns about riding in Princeville. The folks at B 808 were wonderful in giving me resources and advice on where to safely ride in advance of arrival. I ended up renting a hybrid bike for three days and rode from our resort to 1 Hotel and up beyond the Princeville Botanical Garden to the start of the Powerline trail. The company delivered the bike to me when promised and provided a cable lock, helmet, and instructions related to the bike. I was able to easily swap,out the stock pedals with my own, and it worked beautifully. I would nor hesitate to recommend B 808 to anyone, and will use them again on our next trip.

We just rented the boards and didn't do any instruction since we've all done a lot of paddleboarding. The beach was gorgeous and the water was really warm and clear so we saw a lot of fish, corals and urchins. The only downside for us was our reservation was during low tide and it was VERY low at the time and pretty windy! We had to be really careful navigating around reef so we didn't damage the reef or the boards. I would recommend doing a quick check of the tide tables before you make your reservation. There's also no cell service down where you meet your boards, so be sure your whole party knows where they are going.
