This is the worst place to rent a car from they are so unprofessional. They claim they don't have any cars on the lot and can't give a definite answer on when a car will be available. I made a reservation at this location for 11:30am got there at 11am and they claim they have no cars and they would have some at 2 or 3. You can't even call the store directly because it directs you to their national line. I call the number that's provided & they tell me there are cars available so I go up there thinking there would be, but to only get there for a second time and the stupid bitches at the front desk tell me there's nothing available still & that the national people don't actually know what they have on their lot...I was charged $203 and didn't even get a car, I say all this to say do NOT get a car from here(if you even can) go to Hertz or Enterprise if you can read more

if I could give 0 stars I would ! horrible management at the Sterling Heights location the manager Trina is a scammer she had a disrespectful staff who doesn't know math I rented a vehicle through the Uber program from 11.4.2022 till 3/31.2023 it was the worst time I only wentctheougj company because I was told I had to do so in order to drive for Uber manager over charged me put dou le holds on my bank cards so it would be considered fraud and I had to call every week to get them to uplift the hold they also went along and ran my card twice and when I had a issue she would tell me to dispute it with my bank which is ridiculously then she looked for everything wrong with car which is wasn't she said she charged me a 500 repo fee which the vehicle was never repossessed I paid every week an tired the car in when I was done the Company added me to the do not rent list but they also had to pay me 800 back ! AVIS/Budget workers tried to charge me $995.45 for *Three days* yes I said 3 days... I Could Not believe it! I was actually suppose to have the Nissan Altima for a total of Four days but decided to bring it back 1 day earlier!! And when I asked why this price, the gentleman couldn't explain. He told me that the lady that originally helped me was out of town.. So I asked for a manager and he said they were the same person. However he did his best to help out. This was my 2nd time using the Sterling Heights location and I'm guessing it will definitely be my Last. Not to mention they didn't honor their online price! I booked this reservation 4 WEEKS in advance and my email confirmation said that I would only pay $179.78 for 4 days {which I still have that email,} however my credit card was charged $273.89. Smh very disappointed and I still haven't received a phone call back to explain This problem... Bottom line don't waste your time nor money find a better company like Hurtz or Enterprise! This is a dual Avis/Budget rental location. Worst customer service experience ever from the Avis counter. We had rented an Avis vehicle at the airport on 17 August and the car was having service problems. Avis corporate instructed us to go this Avis location to swap the cars. The representative refused to give us a replacement until I drove the car with a bad front tire to the gas station to top off the fuel so it was full at turn in. Even after Avis corporate called, she refused to waive the fuel charge. Our hotel was across the street, so Avis sent a new car on a flatbed from the airport 2 hours later. All because this location would not waive a fuel charge to take back an out of service vehicle in support of the Avis rental network. The service was beyond bad, it was insulting. I do not recommend renting from this location. read more

The staff, especially Chloe, is the epitome of what is wrong with Detroit businesses - sense of entitlement, unwillingness to earn customer loyalty and lack of customer service. I am not sure how they are still in business and how Avis allows such staff to be a franchise owner for them. As Stefani said, they claim a pick up and drop off service, but... surprise.... you need to schedule it three days in advance. No where is this written or communicated.
