    burnt Stromboli.
    Robert C.

This is a new location that officially opened 2 days ago although I believe they had a soft open a week earlier. Based on the recent opening, it is understandable that opening a new location will have its challenges. We were the only customers when we first sat down. Several tables were then seated within the next 15-20 minutes. There is VERY limited seating inside and not much outside only having a few picnic tables. The menu I feel is a bit pricey for what is a very ordinary Italian selection. We started off with drinks and I had a beer that was labeled as an Apple Pie Ale, which had no relationship to apple pie. I also tried 2 separate IPA drafts. I can say that I am an extremely avid Craft Beer person with an affinity for IPA's. These beers very underwhelming and the hops and flavor profiles outlined on the menu did not translate to the beer that was served. These were all from a single Brewery that was over an hour away. I ordered a Stromboli my wife ordered a pizza, our friends ordered a meatball hoagie and an order of french fries. The wait for our food order was longer than I feel is acceptable and I feel that as a result of this delay all of our food was not Hot at all. In addition, my Stromboli was actually burnt (see photo) and much smaller than what I expected for the price charged. Our friend that ordered the meatball hoagie which had 3 meatballs even though the menu states it would include 4 meatballs. I am a person that WILL NOT return food that is not correct and in this instance I should not have had to since it was clearly overcooked and should not have been served. I believe one of the owners were there and talked at length to the table next to us but never talked to us to ask our opinions. We all agreed that even though the restaurant was very new, we would not return based on our overall experience, the food quality, pricing and service.

    Tiramisu and an old fashioned.

Stopped for drinks and dessert! Always a great time with great food. It's your average pizza joint inside but with above average taste.

Nice location and setting. Service was painfully slow. Waited over an hour for our food. Won't be back.

I regularly went to the Warrendale location but we moved to Zelie a few years ago so we were only going rarely.

We got our Thanksgiving catering from Albero Verde this year. I had been there to celebrate a…read moresuccessful fundraiser for Living Stones and saw the advertising about the Thanksgiving options. I'll post a photo of the menu, but here are some of my thoughts: Turkey - so delicious Mashed potatoes - perfection Stuffing - I loved it but the kids didn't. Honestly they probably would have preferred Stove Top though. Green beans - very tasty but not great as a leftover Cranberry chutney - ok, I love the canned stuff but this was truly a hit. Rolls and butter - literally such delicious butter! Apple pies - they were more like empanadas. I was expecting mini round pies. The crust was amazing but the apples were a bit tart. The pickup was easy and seamless. Everything was packed well. Thank you! We can't wait to come in to eat soon.

Our waitress Ellie was attentive, patient, and helpful for our party of 9. She was even willing to give some of the guests tea bags from her own stash! Our group of 9 tried almost everything on the menu. They have a small menu with a few appetizers and main courses along with some desserts. Because we were a larger group, at least one of us got something on the menu. We also shared, so I tried many of the dishes! They gave us an amuse bouche, which was aracini with caramelized onions and peppers. DELICIOUS. I wanted more. We also got foccacia with an oil dipping sauce. The focaccia was denser than usual, but I loved it! Here's what we tried: [Sausage Greens & Beans]: A traditional Italian dish that was absolutely delicious. There was so much flavor between the panchetta, beans, escarole, and sausage. This dish was out of my comfort zone but so delightful. [Crispy Brussel Sprouts]: Man! These were good. They were perfectly charred and paired with a spicy sauce that took this dish to the next level. [Wedding Soup]: A little non-traditional since their noodles were much larger, but I loved the denser meatballs. [Caesar Salad]: My husband loved this dish! The croutons made the dish extra, and it was well dressed and slightly lemony. [Warm Mushroom Salad]: I hate mushrooms but I loved this. The rosemary smoked mushrooms were the star of this dish. [Shrimp Risotto]: This was so creamy and flavorful! [Chicken Marsala]: This dish was out of this world! The rosemary smoked mushrooms gave this dish a perfectly smokey flavored. The chicken was stuffed and accompanied with lyonnaise potatoes that were so crispy and delicious. [Roasted Veggie Rolled Lasagna]: Wow was this dish flavorful. The variety of vegetables were perfect, and the roaster red pepper ricotta in the middle was just what this dish needed. [Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie]: This was the perfect fall dessert. Apple turnovers, peaches, and pumpkin pie mousse. The perfection portion and not overly sweet! This restaurant made it to my top 5, and it was so delicious. All of the flavors were so complex! You need to try this restaurant or you'll really be missing out! I cannot wait to try more items on their menus as their specials and menu changes. Such a hidden gem!

I had gotten the Tuscan chicken at Ozone, the week before and it was better. It also cost $6. less. My husband's chicken Marsala was over $30 and there were no sides. Got there and we were immediately seated at a table on the outside heated patio. The good Appetizers - the areanchini, peppers, crab cake, meat ball and buratta hit the spot. Id probably give it a 5/5 - the diablo pizza was great as well The ok - chicken marsala was decent - penne rosa: nothing special The bad/terrible - the mushroom pizza was salty. Not sure what happened there - got some other pasta (can't remember the name) that was so bland, thought it came from costco - the bread: what's up with some American based Italian restaurants. Put some effort in the bread you serve - we had some different ladies serve us after a while and when we asked for the spicy olive oil they said they don't have it. I thought they were just trying to get done for the day vs actually serving us

The restaurant was only about 50% full, so it didn't seem overly busy. We were seated in the back and ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees within about five minutes. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive -- she was quick with our first two rounds of refills and had a great attitude the entire night. Unfortunately, the timing of the food really hurt the experience. Our appetizers didn't come out until about 45 minutes after ordering, and our entrees arrived an hour and a half after we were seated. By the time our dinners came out, we were the last table left in the restaurant. To make things more frustrating, the meals were brought out in two separate rounds about 10 minutes apart. When the second round finally came, we ended up asking for boxes and the check right away. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and our waitress did everything she could to take care of us. That's why we're giving 3 stars. But waiting an hour and a half for dinner -- especially when the restaurant wasn't very busy -- is just not acceptable. We'd consider giving it another try, but only if the kitchen timing improves.
