Tried out this place the other day and the people working are so friendly. The place wasn't very busy for a Thursday night. We ordered to shed a few things. I enjoyed the jalapeño poppers and my spicy margarita. I wish I asked for some spice in my guac, so that's on me! Really enjoyed the plantains. Give this place a try!

Had the pleasure of visit this fine establishment . The margaritas were on point. Nice music playing in the background. I love drums and wonderful sounds of a percussion mix. The service was excellent also. Very nice and kind people . Nice and clean place. I would definitely come back again. Happy eating and drinking everyone

We were here after we couldn't get our foot in the door in any Mexican restaurant nearby. It was Cinco de Mayo, and everyone else had a 2 hour wait time. They got us seated quickly and got our drinks running quickly. For food we ordered the quesadilla and fajitas. The food was average and the meat felt a little soggy. The wait time didn't help given the busy evening. I'd try different places before I go here again.

Mexican food served up in a festive atmosphere with a friendly and attentive wait staff. Overall the food was average and a bit on the bland side. We had empanadas with guac and chips for appetizers. The guac had was pretty much tasteless. Given its appearance I thought perhaps it was premade and they just added some onions to it. The empanada were nice and crunchy but the fillings were mild in flavor and heat. We had the Birria tacos and sauce, which lacked that rich flavor. Rice and beans again just bland. I had high hopes given the authentic Mexican decor and mostly Spanish speaking staff, but was overall disappointed.

We went for an early dinner and we're the first ones there. Warmly greeted and quickly seated. A dish of salsa and chips were brought. Pretty good and when we finished the first bowl, they brought another one out. I had the pork chimichangas. There were two, big, nice and crispy. I chose the rice and beans. Could have gotten the salad and Maduras instead. The pork was delicious, as well as the sides. Oh, also came with sour cream and guacamole. Couldn't finish both, so took one home. Hubby had the Pollo Diablo which he devoured. A very good and filling meal. Hope to be able to try the desserts next time. Before we left, more people had arrived. Wouldn't be surprised if they became popular fast! We will definitely be returning.

Tried Avocado's in Bethel CT with a friend on a Thursday night. Of course up first was chips and salsa. The chips were addicting and homemade! My friend got an avocado salad (I personally dont eat salad) but it looked good. As my appetizer I got beef and cheese empanadas. The beef was moister than I like. The cheese empanada was melty goodness. My dinner I had garlic shrimp and unlike other Mexican restaurants your side choices are maduros, rice and beans, or a salad. I went with the maduros as my side. I think many will like they have a choice besides rice and beans. The garlic was light to me it was in a creamy sort of yellow type sauce. Im not sure if the sauce may have taken away from the amount of garlic I like. I loved that the shrimp were Big!! Because I was not overly full from dinner I was able to have churros for dessert.

The food was amazing! We got salmon and steak. The complementary salsa that comes with chips was so good! My salmon was cooked perfect and the mash potatoes had lots of flavor. Only thing I didn't like was there was a "wait to be seated" sign and we ended up seating ourselves because no one came. Server was pretty well also.

Gross as fuck, no flavor n not the original order. None of the food had any flavor nor was there any spice, drinks were weak.

We started with a couple of drinks, which were very strong..maybe a little too strong. My sangria didn't taste like sangria at all, and I honestly couldn't tell what was in it. It didn't have any fruit, and I think vodka was added. We ordered the calamari and what was listed as hummus with pita. When it arrived, we noticed the "hummus" was actually spinach and artichoke dip. I had to ask about it since I have an allergy and wanted to make sure a certain ingredient wasn't included. We decided to keep it and I'm glad we did because it was absolutely delicious!! The calamari was just as good, if not better. Both appetizers were fantastic. For our entrée, we ordered the rigatoni to share. There was a bit of confusion, as our waitress (who was also the bartender) thought we wanted it packed to go, when we actually planned to eat it and then take the rest home. She quickly fixed it in the kitchen, so really no harm done. My only guess is that since we had been sitting with appetizers for quite a while, she may have assumed we were finished eating.. I mean it was a while. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very good. However, it was topped with microgreens and cilantro which really threw me off! I've never had a pasta dish garnished with cilantro, especially instead of something more traditional like basil...? It felt like a strange choice and was a bit unappetizing for me. Overall, it was a very... odd... first experience. Would I give it another shot? Yes, but I think I'd wait a bit and hope things become more organized. I have to add it is beautiful inside. They have the cutest lights on the table. Appetizers: 10/10 Drinks: 3/10 Entrée: 5/10

I…read morenever jump to that conclusion lightly -- and honestly, I tried to talk myself out of what I was seeing in real time. But after replaying the situation, I couldn't unsee it. My date and I had an 8:00 PM Valentine's Day reservation and arrived on time. We checked in with the hostess and were told our table would be ready "in a moment," which was totally fine. We stood and waited patiently. Shortly after, a white couple walked in behind us and told the hostess they technically had an 8:15 PM reservation but were told to come at 8:00. They were seated immediately. We looked at each other but didn't say anything -- we figured maybe they had something ready and ours was being turned over. Then another white couple came in with an 8:00 PM reservation and was also seated right away. At this point, we were still standing there. No update. No explanation. No reassurance. All three parties were groups of two. There was no difference in party size, and we were on time for our reservation. Being skipped once might be a mistake. Being skipped twice, with no communication at all, felt intentional and uncomfortable. We were left standing there feeling confused and honestly unwelcome. If there was a legitimate reason for the delay, it was never communicated to us. No "your table is being cleared," no "we're just running behind," nothing. Just silence while other couples were seated in front of us. What was the difference between their table and ours that we were moved to the side to stand and wait? Everyone was a party of 2. We arrived on time and were the first ones in the door.. I truly didn't want to believe what this looked like, but it became impossible to ignore. We ended up leaving because the situation made us feel disrespected and unwanted as customers. Valentine's Day is obviously a busy night, but fairness and basic communication are non-negotiable. I would not recommend this place, and I especially would not recommend it to people of color based on how we were treated.

Fine. I was in no particular hurry. I had a drink. Time passed...and passed...etc. Finally, just before I was going to pay for my drinks and leave, apparently the cook arrived, and the very nice lady behind the bar apologetically came to take my order. At this point, it would take even more time to go somewhere else so I ordered what the menu calls a Philly Cheese Steak, with onion rings. The food comes out and its unlike any other "Philly Cheese Steak" I've ever had before. Two things stood out. First, it was served not on a hoagie roll like every other cheesesteak in the world, but on a kaiser roll, so that when you pick it up, of course, everything falls out onto the plate. The second thing was the complete lack of taste. I did not know that meat, cheese, onions, and peppers could be so bland. Now, you might be asking, "After that, how can you give them 4 stars?". Here's why. When the very nice lady behind the bar came to ask how it was, I was honest...it was terrible. There was a man sitting at the bar, who I assume was the owner. She spoke to him and he came over and could not have been nicer. I don't know what issues he's dealing with in the kitchen, but he didn't seem to be surprised. He agreed with what I was saying, apologized profusely, and here's the kicker...he didn't charge me for anything. Not the food, not the drinks, nothing. When I protested and tried to pay for the drinks I would have had anyway, he refused. So...4 stars. I'm going to assume that they're going through a rough patch in the kitchen, but trying hard to fix things, and more than willing to make it right. I hope it works out for them.
