Came in for dinner on our anniversary. We're greeted by our waitress for our drink order. I was glad to see there were several choices for non alcohol cocktails. I went with the blood orange crush. It was so good and the presentation was very nice. Next, we were served warm tortilla chips with salsa and another sauce that we did not ask what the sauce was. The additional sauce was really good. We probably didnt think our appetizer out to well. But we ordered nachos on top of the free tortilla chips we just ate. It was our anniversary and my husband loves nachos so why not? For dinner I had a rice bowl which consisted of a really nicely cooked white rice, I chose ground beef, pico de gallo, shredded cheese and a cream sauce. The restaurant ambience was very comfortable. The tables were spaced farther apart than expected, and there was a good separation between the bar and table area. The Lychee martini was the standout of the meal. It was delicious! The shrimp burrito tasty enough, but I thought the pork in the pork rice bowl could have had a more "fall apart" quality and also more moist. On service, our waitress was very nice, but a table that arrived a good while after we did received both drinks and food before we were served our drinks. The food was very good . The atmosphere was outstanding. However, I was quite disappointed with the drink. It was my first time dining at Casa Tequila so I was quite excited to try the margarita. I figured with a name like Casa Tequila , it has to have the best margaritas. However, this is what went wrong: I ordered a classic margarita on the rocks . It was not served in a margarita glass. It was so weak, it tasted like lemonade. $15 I asked the waitress to please ask the bartender to add a shot of patron. It was returned to me with a dried up lime and a hint of patron. They added $11 to the bill for that shot. So, I am a dissatisfied customer because I spent $26 dollars for a drink in a wrong glass, weak taste and dried up lime. The only way I can ever return if I am guaranteed that my drink will be made properly. Hacienda Don Manuel can teach you how to make a margarita. read more

Phenomenal. The environment is great, and happy. The night we were there they had dancers come around and they had a Dj with music. It was a great night out option. Their drinks are yummmy. We tried several different ones, don't ask me which ones now bc I can no longer recall but pics are below. The staff was friendly, and came around often, and constantly gave us advise on drinks and food, awesome. The food is the typical Mexican food but it has a twist to it making it a little different and more elegant. Very good, classy, tasty, and will definitely be back. read more

We tried the Plátano Relleno, the Tequila Buffalo Wings, and a couple different Margaritas First, the wings were probably the best I've ever had, anywhere Second, the Plátano Relleno was so freaking good. First time here, and we loved it! We were hunting for an upscale, polished Mexican restaurant, and they absolutely delivered. The restaurant is spotless, beautifully decorated, and features a welcoming open floor plan with a great bar and lounge area. Plus, the seating is incredibly comfortable--no hard wooden chairs here! The food and service were both stellar. We ordered the calamari for starters, followed by the chimichangas and fish tacos. Everything tasted amazing. The presentation on dark wood cutting boards looked nice (though they might be tough for the restaurant to maintain long-term). My only critique is that I wish their taco platters allowed you to mix and match three different types instead of forcing you to get three of the same kind. Highly recommend overall! read more

Casa Tequila, originally based in Armonk, NY, recently opened this new location in the Bethel Shopping Center across from BigY. They have a typical Mexican menu with all the usual favorites from Tacos over Burritos and Enchiladas to Fajitas. The food was served quickly and I enjoyed the flavors of my pork tacos, though the corn tacos disintegrated easily making them a bit messy to eat. I wished they'd offer mixing in a regular order of three tacos so that one could try more than one flavor. The place is huge, with two areas for sit down dining, and the bar. Definitely well suited for larger groups as well. For a Friday lunch it wasn't very busy. Staff was almost over bearing constantly checking on us - which I appreciate in principle and totally understand give that they just opened, but was disruptive to conversations at our table. I'll definitely come back in a couple of weeks to see how they settle into routine service. read more

This was our first time visiting Casa Tequila and it was a solid 10/10 experience. The atmosphere and staff were fantastic. What a gorgeous set up!!! I have to say, everyone working there looked like they stepped out of a magazine! Such beautiful and helpful people. Our food was incredible. I ordered the mole short ribs and they were absolutely perfect, served with cheesy mashed potatoes that made the whole dish just so heavenly. My friend ordered the rice bowl, which she loved. The crafted drinks were just as delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu! read more

Holy crap. Happy hour is not what you would expect. Mucho bucks! I have to take out a mortgage to pay the bill. Had some complementary chips but that does not cut the mustard. I have to say this is the most expensive tab for alcohol I have ever paid. I had dinner and drinks (same amount of drinks) and another family member at Casa Oaxaca for less than the happy hour drink cost. Don't waste your money this place is ridiculous. read more

Love this place! Both the atmosphere and decor are great. Their chips are the best I've ever had. They are thin and salted just tribe right amount. I had the chicken rice bowl and it was delicious! A very generous size as well. The margarita was also very good! Will be back to try more! read more

Unfortunately 2 things are huge no-no's for a nice restaurant- especially one that claims to be Mexican - chips served in black wire bowl with plastic saucers - I thought I was at TGIFs or Apple Bees!!! My first bite of food was the chips and salsa and I thought, "this salsa tastes just like the store brand of jar salsa I get from Big Y." That's not a deal breaker for me though. My fiancé and I each ordered the chicken burrito. He really liked his, but I did not like the texture. The chicken was puréed or mushy. I'm not sure, but I think they used canned chicken that's why it was so soft? That's not going to fly with the prices they have. So, we decide to go a 2nd time because I wanted to try something else. I got a regular Margarita with salt which was very good! I also got the chicken and shrimp fajitas with a side of rice and beans. The fajitas were delicious!! However, the rice tasted like a plastic bag to me. Some times I experience this if I buy "Uncle Ben's" 90 second microwave rice. But, again, it makes me feel like they're taking short cuts when the prizes higher. My fiancé ordered the 3 street tacos, but each taco only came on 1 taco shell when usually places put them on 2 corn taco shells. He thought the meal was ok, but I wonder if part of that was because it was too messy with 1 shell. For dessert, we got the 3 ice cream cones - chocolate, vanilla, and pistachio. They all tasted like freezer burn, completely inedible. This was the last straw for me because there are too many signs of short cuts. I'm concerned about freshness in regard to everything in the restaurant. The ambience is awesome though! Love the music and decor. The service is amazing, but we won't retuning.
