I've been a customer here since 2008. They have been consistently great, always on time and really easy to work with if I have a tight turn-around or an alteration. They are not the closest dry cleaner to me, but they are the best. My only wish is that they were open a little later on Saturday given that they're closed on Sundays. read more

COAT RUINED, NO COMMUNICATION/RESOLUTION I came back home noticing the coat looks completely ruined. It used to be a black glossy coat but now is matte with mold-like white spots all over. I called to ask what happened. Apparently they followed the instructions on the coat and machine washed it, and blamed it on the instructions. Saying "we noticed it looked different when it came out", but didn't bother telling me about it when I went to pick it up. Convenient, right? I have machine washed it before and never had it look "different" after. I'm not sure how they washed it. I also would have expected some communication about the incident when it happened or when I picked it up. Their dry cleaning is fine, but I won't come back for how they dealt with this incident. read more

First time using cleaners and wow, I am just shocked by the staff's hospitality and service. I took in my suit, and I could not believe how perfect it looked afterwards! Everyone was asking me if I got a new suit! I could not find a single piece of lint or any thread out of place. Amazing quality for affordable prices. Dry-cleaning is simple, it's good or it isn't. When I dropped off an assortment of heavily worn dress shirts and sport coats, I was impressed with not only the timeliness of the service but also the quality. My shirt cuffs & collars were as good as new and my coats were pristinely pressed. Used this cleaner regularly and got burned. Picked up my cleaning and realized a silk dress shirt was missing. Called to tell them and they told me only four items were dropped off, but I was sure I dropped off five. Sure enough, I looked around and realized it was definitely their mistake. Went there in person and demanded they find it. It was there and they then said I forgot to pick it up with the rest of my order. Beware, it's all good until you have a problem. Yesterday (4/18/2012) I picked up a silk blouse from them, and it was clearly burned and torn. They did not accept their mistake and told me to sue them (what a way to treat it's customers. They claimed it was a defect, we talked to J. Crew (the maker) and the clearly said that it was a poor dry cleaning and the chemicals had burned it. Avoid at all costs, no customer service what so ever! I was a regular customer. read more

Could not disagree more with the other existing review. I gave these guys many chances to NOT rip me off with shirt dry cleaning. Notice they do not post prices (does any dry cleaner?) but they will over charge you at every opportunity. Recent examples: 1) a kids cotton shirt, washed and pressed, over $5.00. Yes, that is right, over $5.00!!!!. Makes little sense when men's shirts are $0.99 with "dry cleaning". 2) Drop off many shirts, all are not marked dry clean. They always find a way to make a shirt "dry cleaning required" so they can charge you over $5.00 to clean it! Crazy. If you use them do yourself a favor and review an itemized bill. Very disappointed- lying to customers. No sense of customer service. I took in 3 indian style blouses. One got damaged and the color bled through the entire blouse. Understandable, was not of good quality. I had already paid by then. When i checked the other two- clearly the first blouse also damaged the second. When i asked if they were cleaned together, i was told no they were cleaned separately and that the stains on the second blouse was there from before. ( i can guarantee they were not, I would not have worn that clothing with color stains). I mean really??? You just accused your customer of lying. And lied to my face. I just moved to a new house near Avondale Cleaners and was excited that there was a convenient location to get my shirts cleaned. It has been less than three months now and they have already lost one shirt and overcharged me twice. The only response I got when I asked about the missing shirt was that they have no missing shirts and that no one has ever returned a shirt that they received by accident. No apology nor did they even ask about the color or size of the missing shirt. They just kept shaking their head saying 'no extra shirt'. I have had shirts lost in the past by other places but at least they made an attempt to acknowledge that a shirt had gone missing and that they would look for it. Well, I've been coming here for a year and so far so good. The staff is not very personable, in other words, I'm not sure they'll ever say "Hello Mr. Smith, nice to see you again, ..." as I walk in, because some dry cleaners do once they get familiar with you. But all in all I love that everything I drop off is ready within 2 days, at no extra cost for express service. All my garments have come back impeccable, I just hope not to experience what some other reviewers mentioned. read more

Went to get 5 suits hemmed hear. When i picked it up they were all 2 inches too long and there was a mysterious looking sauce stain on my white jumper and stains all over that looked as if it was stepped on. On another suit you could see more of the sauce stain on the pant leg. The owner said she would redo the alterations and take care of the stains. When i went to get them again one of the length of of one of the suits were very uneven. One was higher than the other. Also she didn't remove the stains from my damaged suits like she promised. When asked why not she said that she spent too much money to refix an error they caused and would not remove stains because it would cost her company too much to fix. She refused to rectify the situation. She gave me 10 dollars back and told me it was not her problem and go elsewhere to fix the items she destroyed. Don't go hear. Awful service. They dont take responsibility for damages they do. And owners answer to everything is go elsewhere because fixing the mistake will cost her too much money to fix and run her out of business. Worst customer service skills ever. Do not go hear even if you are desperate. They will mess your stuff up and wont care that they did. read more
