You start off by taking your shirt off afterwards and put on a robe before getting on the bed. She then starts off with a forehead, temple, neck, and shoulder massage. After that's finished, she puts on a heated eye mask and then begins all the hair things. My hair was washed with OLAPLEX shampoo about 2x, and throughout it all she is massaging my head nonstop. I love the head massage the most! There is a water ring around your head that waterfalls on vou to rinse vour hair multiple times as well. She also uses a head scratcher which gave me so many tingles! The treatment finishes off by washing your neck and shoulders. She ends it by using a DYSON SUPERSONIC HAIR DRYER to blow drying my hair. After almost 3.5 years of going to this location at EWC, I can no longer support this business…read more After being inappropriately touched and handled by an inexperienced "licensed" waxer, I took the time and steps to inform both management and corporate, only to find out that the waxer faced no disciplinary action and was not fired. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way corporate handled the follow-up. I received a random phone call from corporate, where my name was repeatedly pronounced incorrectly, only to be informed that they were closing my case. There was no meaningful resolution or explanation of what was actually being done to address the situation. I was also ghosted by the manager of this branch when I asked for an update regarding the issue and was completely ignored when I was at the front desk this weekend, despite being told that I would not be treated differently because of what happened. I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of this situation and honestly shocked by EWC's standards and lack of accountability when it comes to protecting their clients. Clients should be able to feel safe and comfortable during their appointments, and waxers should be properly knowledgeable about safe and appropriate waxing procedures, appropriate topics to discuss with clients, and, most importantly, appropriate and safe touch.
