I've had many lash lifts before, but this was honestly the worst lash lift experience I've ever…read morehad. After the initial service, my lashes were very uneven. One side was lifted much higher than the other, some lashes were sticking straight up, and others were bent, crossing over each other, or pointing in different directions. By the second night, I realized that one of my actual lashes was pointing downward and poking my eye, causing discomfort. I took close up photos and texted Thi to show her what was happening. Her response was simply, "No problem I can fix." There was no apology or acknowledgment that something had gone wrong. I was disappointed by the response, but I still decided to go back because I wanted to give her a chance to correct the issue. I have a busy schedule as well, so returning meant taking additional time out of my day to have a problem from the original service corrected. Still, I made the time and went back hoping she could fix it. After the correction, my lashes looked somewhat better, but the result was still uneven. Some of my upper lashes were still bent and going in different directions. What upset me even more was that after the correction, some of my lower lashes became visibly crimped and wavy, even though my lower lashes were not supposed to be treated. I also began noticing approximately 2-3 lashes falling out almost every day. When I went back for the correction, I was also disappointed by how the situation was handled. I still did not feel that there was a proper apology or accountability for what had happened. I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD GET A REFUND AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO HAVE MY LASHES FIXED,, but I had already taken time out of my schedule to come back specifically to give her a chance to correct the problem. I also want to clarify something regarding my next appointment. Immediately after my initial service, I had booked another appointment for 8/17. I have a busy schedule and generally prefer to book appointments well in advance, so I scheduled it before I realized the extent of the problems with my lashes. After everything that happened, I had no intention of returning. However, I later received a message saying that my 8/17 appointment had been canceled even though I had never requested the cancellation. Although I wasn't planning to go back, canceling an appointment on my behalf without any communication still felt unprofessional. What disappointed me most was not only the result of the lash lift, but also the way the situation was handled afterward. I understand that mistakes can happen, which is why I contacted Thi directly and gave her the opportunity to correct the service rather than immediately leaving a negative review. Unfortunately, even after returning for a correction, I was still left with uneven and bent upper lashes, crimped lower lashes, and ongoing lash fallout. I've included photos and screenshots so others can see both the results and the communication for themselves and make their own judgment. Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify a couple of things. When Thi and I scheduled my next appointment for August 17 immediately after my initial service, I was never told that a deposit was required or that the appointment would be automatically canceled if a deposit was not completed within a certain timeframe. Had that been explained to me when the appointment was booked, I would have understood the cancellation. I also understand that English is your second language because English is my second language as well. For me, this was never about perfect English or the wording of a text message. A language barrier was not the issue. Empathy and accountability do not require perfect English they can be communicated through tone, actions, and the way someone responds when a client comes back with a problem. When I showed you what had happened to my lashes, I was not expecting perfect words or a perfectly worded apology. What mattered to me was feeling that my concern was genuinely acknowledged and that there was some understanding and regret about what had happened. Unfortunately, I did not feel that through our text communication or when I returned in person for the correction. I appreciate your apology now and your offer of a refund. However, my review was based on my actual experience: the original lash lift, having to take additional time to return for a correction, the condition of both my upper and lower lashes afterward, the ongoing lash fallout, and how the situation was handled. My intention in sharing this review is not to criticize anyone's language ability or intentions, but simply to provide an honest and factual account of my experience. UPDATE: After my review, I received repeated messages from 7:00 AM throughout my workday asking me to remove it. I felt pressured and uncomfortable all day.
