However, I did expect the pleats on the lower/skirt portion to be properly pressed and finished. Unfortunately, that wasn't done. When I pointed it out, she used a hair straightener to try to fix it, but it still did not achieve the polished, professional pleated look I was hoping for. At this point I was running late for my shoot so I had to leave. When the photos came back, it was noticeable in the pictures, and family and friends commented on it as well. That was disappointing, especially for such an important shoot. I would not return for saree pleating. I also offered to bring my saree ahead of time to get it pleated in which she declined and said no need (even when I mentioned for clean pleats).

My makeup was prefect! She covered all the areas I requested and prepped the makeup in case of tears. My hair was beautiful and she knew what to do to accentuate the accessories I had. Her assistants are skilled but may be off the mark sometimes. My bridesmaid's foundation was a few shades too light as she has a darker complexion. She didn't notice until after everything was already on and didn't want the artist to redo all her work. It was still decent but something to keep in mind.
