Unfortunately, this place has not improved. The only reason for going was because I really enjoy the honey chili chicken. The other Awadh locations have been much better with quality and service, so it is unfortunate to see this. Firstly, there is way too much corn starch being used in the sauces. So much so that the sauces of your leftovers solidify overnight. I have never seen this happen to this extent with any other place. Also, I would make sure to check your pickup orders. We ordered two honey chili chickens and received no steamed rice for either, which was so disappointing. We have tried other Awadh restaurants and love them so wanted to try this Indo-Chinese location. We were greeted by friendly staff soon as we walked in. The place was clean, simple not much for decoration, at least when we visited. The food was just average. We ended up ordering few dishes. We ordered chicken lollipop, chicken manchurian, the hakka beef noodles and chicken tikka Chaat. Everything tasted ok but could have been a little flavorful with a little extra seasoning to everything. If I am around that neighborhood and am really craving for Info-Chinese food, then maybe I will stop by to try something different. 3.5/5 - solid indochinese food in a pinch. Veg schezuan noodles were good and spicy, veg manchurian dry had a sweetness to it that I didn't care for, but it was still decent. Would love to try the other indochinese options in the area, but the prices here can't be beat so would definitely return if I was craving it. read more

This is the third Awadh location in Columbus, but unlike the other two locations, this newest location serves up Indo Chinese dishes. The setup of the restaurant is counter service, and there are plates, utensils, and to-go boxes in a corner for diners' convenience. We tried several items on our trip here - Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Tikka Chaat, Chicken Manchurian, and the Hakka Beef noodles. Everything tasted decent, although we felt that being Indo Chinese, the dishes could use a bit more "kick" to them. While I like the counter service process, I do not think that these restaurants should be tipped establishments. This is another area where this restaurant can rethink their strategy. read more

Ok!!! This place is great!! So much so that my hubby and I ate here twice in one week. THE CHILI CHICKEN !?! So delicious--we craved it all week. On our first trip (06-Feb-2025) there we ate in the restaurant. It was clean and the staff were kind! That first time we ordered the aforementioned chili chicken, the Kolkata gravy noodles (a first for both of us and it was great! Perfect for a cold day), and the papdi chaat (I love chaat and never had it with papdi before, really loved it! The crunch of the papdi was exactly what I was craving!) and oh my goodness the mango lassi was so luxurious--thick and creamy and very mango-y!!! And on 14-Feb-2025 we were craving the chili chicken and lassi so much we decided on takeout for Valentine's Day:) this time I got the chili chicken dosa and I think this is how I will be ordering my chili chicken moving forward we also got the chicken 65 (I think this was my favorite I have had) and chicken Manchurian (also phenomenal). I recently tried this restaurant and placed an online order. They have an extensive menu, which includes classic Indo-Chinese dishes--a delightful find! The service was efficient, and our order was ready right on time. The restaurant itself is quite small, so it might not be suitable for larger groups. I ordered their famous dry chili chicken, and it was absolutely fantastic. Along with that, I tried the chicken fried rice and Schezwan chicken gravy this combo brought back fond memories of flavors from India. Lastly, I ordered the chicken noodles with gravy. While the gravy was flavorful, the noodles didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, the portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the food was excellent. read more

Saw this place after the Columbus Zoo with my dad as some place different. It is Indian/Chinese fusion rather than Indonesian. My dad got the Lamb Chop Suey and I got the Chili Lamb Gravy. They also had lunch specials even on a Sunday but nothing had lamb which we wanted. The service was pretty fast and friendly. The ambiance is fast-casual. read more

The American Chopsuey and Hakka noodles at this Indo-Chinese restaurant transported me back to some of the "Chinese" restaurant in Bombay, growing up. To be clear this is NOT authentic Chinese food in any sense or any region in China. But at least the dishes I tried were quite authentic Indo-Chinese :). I was so excited, but very let down. I got the make your own bowl with noodles. There was no sauce & it came with a few sauces on the side that helped a bit. It's always fun to pick out topping to put on, but everything was just meh. It wasn't terrible, but definitely not exciting or delicious. I got hubs the spicy garlic chicken. It was just slop. The taste was very bland and mixed with rice it just ate like a bowl of mush. Definitely my first time & last time visiting. read more

Terrible first time going experience. I ordered on their website and when I arrived they said they did not get my order. I showed the associate my bank statement showing that the order was paid for and placed. She would not make my food or apologize for the inconvenience. She then had to be asked for a number to call and when I did call the supposed owner answered. He gave every excuse as to it being anyone's fault but there's and then said I could not come back another day to get the food and instead he wanted me to wait which I had no more time to wait since being on a lunch break was ruined by trying to explain the issue. Instead of them apologizing and making it right they made excuses. I would absolutely not recommend supporting this business. read more

We went with my brother and omg the food was amazing but sort of expensive. We were sitting in an area with a lazy Susan and it was kind of cool that we could just turn it so other people in my party can get what they wanted. I had the red wine also and it complemented everything great. I would love if there was a buffet though for dinner. There may be a lunch one but not sure. read more

Unfortunately we did not like the food here. Placed an online order and it was ready right on time and service was great. The chicken lollipops were really good. We also got the general tsos chicken and chili lamb, which were both really gelatinous and had such a gross texture that we ended up throwing both away :( we tried heating it up as well but it stayed very gooey and fatty, it did not melt at all. It's a shame because it smelled so good so I feel the spices and flavor actually could've been good but it was so gelatinous it was impossible to swallow. read more

Food and service are incredible! I couldn't wait for this place to open. Chili paneer and gobi Manchurian (dry) are to die for. The downside is how loud it is. Scooting of chairs on the floors, dishes crashing and loud music (I think I was under a speaker). I'll still be back! read more

Well, this evening was my first time here 9/20/2024 and the Cashier was Justin and was friendly. However, after I placed my order at the cash register, I noticed the Credit Card Processing machine prompted to enter a tip upfront. I really don't like this new way of restaurants doing this, because it tells me they don't pay their employees fairly and are eager to milk the public into paying more. Another reason I dislike this, is because I am used to tipping after I have experienced the service and overall vibe of the visit. Needless to say I asked Justin for Ice water with Lemon, and he noticed me that, that would be assessable at the self service station, but he would get me a line, even though I asked for Lemon. So, now I am already feeling that I am unimportant as a first time customer. Fast forward, I ended up asking Justin 4 times in total for the Lemon, and I asked the Kitchen staff, two different non English speaking employees a total of three times. The first guy ignored me and laughed, twice. As far as the dish ordered, it was the V3- Szechwan Vegetables which was to have ginger and garlic, barely noticable. I also ordered the smallest cup of Tea for $1.95 which was gone in about three swallows. I get Justin was busy, but if it is first come first serves, I should have received the Lemon as soon as I asked for it at the counter. I eventually got the Lime after my meal was 90% devoured. Hopefully this place gets better, you're in Dublin so I expect better service and food . read more

We stumbled on this unassuming restaurant while looking for the FedEx office nearby. We decided to give it a try and now are so glad we did. What a gem of a restaurant! First of all, the service we received from Balu was phenomenal. He was at the counter and was so patient as we waded our way through the menu, with him explaining dish after dish and advising us of the heat levels in each one (there was no one behind us in line :) He was so hospitable and kind. The food we had was simply so delicious, with wonderful sauces and spices that were in perfect balance. We definitely will go back again and again to try as many meu items as we can. Don't miss this place: it is special. read more
