I was excited about the menu, everything sounded amazing. They offer a lunch buffet. Although I was there for dinner, I bet the buffet would be good to be able to sample more dishes. The restautant was quiet audibly even though there were two larger parties dining. I ordered the vegetable sampler appetizer and the lamb korma. The flavors and tenderness of the lamb was outstanding and the sampler plate was great too! I didn't want to quit eating but was getting uncomfortably full. Came here for the buffet on a Saturday right before they closed. Ambiance is pleasant, family friendly. There was a bit of a wait, as was to be expected for the time of day. Thankfully, there was plenty of seating for those on the waitlist. Service was prompt and efficient. Of all the items in the buffet, the gobi sabji/appetizer and mango lychee custard stood out. These dishes had to be refilled twice in the time we were there, so that says it all. The chicken selection in the buffet was a bit underwhelming; the chicken pieces in the gravy dishes were smaller than average. The tandoori chicken pieces were also smaller than average. All things considered, the buffet price was a little higher than average, but it was still a satisfying experience. The moment we walked in, the place felt warm, comfortable, and spotless--exactly the kind of spot where you instantly know you're in for a good meal. Clove is located right by Patel Brothers on Sawmill. They have fantastic Indian buffet for weekend lunch. This time we went for dinner. The place was packed at 6:30pm. Service is great they are very attentive and polite. I truly love Indo Chinese to we order couple of those dishes. I have a very high spice tolerance to everything we ordered was extra spicy and it was perfection. I enjoyed the spicy garlic noodles over the rice. Chili Chicken was classic Hakka style was yummy. The signature garlicky smell was amazing. Food had tad bit less salt which is okay as some people prefer that way and you can always add it later on. We've been here several times as my daughter lives close by, and she highly recommended it to us. The decor is very nice, which was a nice change of pace for a restaurant in a strip mall. There is a very nice man who greets people and seats them, and also serves. I'm not sure if he's the owner or the manager, but he gives really great service and is so kind. The complimentary flatbread with dipping sauces is delicious. We've had several of the dishes, and our favorites that we keep returning to are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Biryani, Garlic Naan and Burnt Garlic Fried Rice. One of the best weekend deals in town: all you can eat buffet for $16-17! We visited recently after hearing good Help reviews. The cuisine is Indo-Chinese and absolutely delicious. Seating is limited, but we did t have much of a wait at all. They even put white paper down on the tables which is really nice. Lovely staff and service. Very welcoming and friendly. I could t tell you what I ate, but every single thing was fresh and fantastic. The selection isn't huge, but it does mean that nothing sits long. I wish there had been a dessert that was a bit less sweet and more simple (even fruit would suffice), but that's a tiny complaint. I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I decided to order takeout for my dad's birthday. I really liked they have a nice and extensive Indo Chinese menu. I decided to go with Indo Chinese dishes, since not many places in Columbus serve them. I called and asked in regard to the portion size. I was told that each entree comes with white rice and serves one. I actually think the portions were huge. Easily two people can share; however, if you don't order rice separately, then you may fall short on the rice. I ordered the chili chicken, Thai lemon curry, basil chicken, crispy honey chicken, veg fried rice, and chicken fried rice. This was plenty for four people and we had leftovers. My favorites were the basil chicken and chili chicken. My husband really liked the Thai lemon chicken. I actually preferred the veg fried rice to the chicken fried rice. I think this place serves the best Indo Chinese from the others I have tried in the area. I took a star off, because although the flavors of the gravies were very nice, the chicken itself fell short. The chicken in each dish lacked seasoning and that was apparent for me even through all the sauce on the exterior. If ordering from the Indo Chinese menu, I would definitely order the veg fried rice as well. The dishes do not taste as good with the regular white rice. I think they should have the option to include fried rice with perhaps a $1 upcharge with the dishes instead of white rice. We have been told this is one of the best Indian Food spots in Dublin. We decided to do carry out and got a variety of thing to try. We orders the lamb samosas, chicken biryani, goat Rogan Josh, the lamb vindaloo, and garlic naan. We were very excited about the lamb samosa because we feel like it's hard to find at most Indian restaurants we go to. Sadly they forgot to put it in our Togo bag so we didn't get to try it. Everything else was absolutely excellent! Our favorite was the lamb vindaloo. The chicken biryani was the best one we've had in Columbus so far. Some friends and I have been checking out various Indian restaurants around town last couple years. I had recently found that indo-chinese food was a thing in India and so was glad to check a place that served the mix, the both. Decided buffet to try, and the price was no more than run-of-the-mill places. Little did we know the price came with such superior quality and big variety! First off, for a buffet, the staff was present and attentive. This never happens. They usually pop in and out just to fill pans like a wack-a-mole game. Here they're filling the water glasses, watching everything. I asked at one point, if there would be more samosas coming. Boom. What?! He was out with a plate to our table! And they have comfy chairs people....I'm talking about the kick back with a good bourbon and cigar kinda old steakhouse style chairs. Ahh. The afore mentioned samosas had perfectly spiced aloo-muttar filling. As a matter of fact EVERYTHING was spiced perfectly (but not, of course chili hot, as that would be a bad biz move here.) And the flavors were so varied between dishes. Seems often elsewhere it's just generic, regular garam masala with a different base and meat or veg. Here the mixture was made to fit the individual dish. And the spice stood up and made it's bad self known! I would not be surprised it they dry fried and ground them daily. Have I said "wow" yet? I was excited to try chicken 65, wildly popular in much of India, I am told. It didn't disappoint. It was like szchuan but a bit of indian flavor at the same time. Sweet, a little hot, spicy, nice texture, just on the soft edge of crunchy...with onions and peppers done just right. Fantastic. They had north Indian/ Nepali panipuri! I have only seen it once before, pre-assembled and ok. Here they had a huge bowl of the fragile, eggshell thin, perfect batter spheres, with the chickpeas, potato, and onion to fill them as you want, at your leisure, to the side, with the watery puri chat to drizzle them with. Oh MY! And yes, sadly I have to confess: I was laughing like a 8 yr. old, popping my puri! Fascinating! Other diners were agast: "just LOOK at that puri poppin' MF'r over there! DisGUSTING!" My friends and I have a running joke about "baby corns" being everywhere and being a big deal (since they are in almost every bad American Chinese dish around). So when I saw them batter fried and spiced I made a bee-line for 'em and sat right down. Wonderful. Seriously. I could eat a bowl full of these "baby corns" just like popcorn, while watching a movie. Even the most every day of every Indian buffet's dishes, of which there were a few, were far superior than most. The muttar paneer had a different spice profile than I had ever tasted. Better. It fit. And the tandoori chicken that I always avoid because it's inevitably dry as dust, was not so. I guess it CAN be done! Who knew? (still not a fan though) The only very slight disappointment was in the pakoras. And that's just because I prefer them to each have a single vegetable inside, instead of a mix. At first I thought they were a little over done too, but once chutney was added, they no longer seemed to be so. They were nice. Just stop the veg mixing and respect each vegetable's cultural difference! Heh heh. We complimented the head of the house, and he introduced us to the owner and the chef who were sitting behind us. Nice guys and good chatting with them -in our comfy comfy gangsta-ass steakhouse chairs. Correction: After reading a review by Anvaya N., I was wrong in saying the chicken 65 was like szechuan meets Indian. She accurately described it as Hakka chili chicken. And szechuan? No. Duh. Delicious buffet! Goat was tender and nice big hunks of meat. Plenty of delicious vegan food too. A little bit of heat, but not too much to turn off the American palate. Staff was attentive, I think this may be a family-owned affair. And the piece de resistance, and my personal yardstick for Indian buffet excellence, was that they had gulab jamun and it was warm and silky in texture. I went here a couple weeks ago for my mom's birthday and it was an amazing experience. We went around 5:30 on a Wednesday and there were many tables open. All the tables were set up nicely and it was clean. We were seated right away. We got the free appetizer and it was delicious. The crispy dough was good with the sauce that came with it. We also ordered the lamb samosas for an appetizer and it was so flavorful. My mom got the goat biryani and it was so rich and amazing. I would definitely get that for myself next time. Well that was delicious. I heard about this place, but wasn't able to get here for the lunch buffet till now. It's one of those places that closes for a little bit between lunch and dinner.
