Under new management and you can tell with the continuous improvements the gym is undergoing. Since PJ started as leadership of General Manager, there has been nothing but positive improvements to classes offering and gym equipment. More to come and they are expanding to more space with a larger indoor turf area. They have AI technology two treadmills with interactive media so you can mimic going on hikes with treads that move up and down like you are on a physical hill or mountain. They have also added Mat Pilates level 1 and 2 and Afro steps class with Afro beats carribean vibes -unique in nature. And if want to be extra motivated at 8am on saturday morning come to John's Body Blast Bootcamp HIIT workout with a live DJ. With new additions the gym is more crowded so if you want access to machines and equipment avoid peak times which is 5pm or later on weeknights. Then end the night with a sauna in locker room to help loosen your muscles for stretching post workouts. They also have a smoothie bar with cold brew on tap if morning workout need extra caffeine.

HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL management cut off locker room locks without ANY NOTIFICATION and then placed…read morepatrons personal belongings in clear plastic bags on a rack right in the front- Their 'staff ' cant be bothered to do their job because they are ALWAYS on their cell phones. The music is WAY TOO loud to the point of annoying when it drowns out what im listening to on my own headphones. My personal trainer Paula was a consummate professional however the rest of the staff and management are very inexperienced and lack customer service skills.

The intro class was about 30 -40 mins and took us through a basic mini work out. By no means did I feel like we were given a easy work out to make us feel a certain way but a true taste of what a real class is like. It's a low impact work out which engages your core throughout as well as every other muscle group, at least I felt like it did 2 days after. This morning I had my first official class. And I loved it! By no means am I an athlete or athletic, but at no point did I feel like it was unattainable for me to complete. Was it easy? No. I struggled at points my muscles were shaking at certain tasks. Everything worth doing is a challenge. Both instructors I encountered Gabriella for intro and Laura for my class today reformer 1. Both were kind and professional and very helpful for a newbie like me. I signed up for 3 months but wouldn't be surprised if I stay a lifetime! Price points. I will say before club pilates came to town I had researched other studios in the area and the reason I had never gone was the cost. Although club pilates is still more expensive then a monthly gym membership, I know plenty of people who pay monthly and never go, I have done it. I would rather pay for something I know I enjoy and will do. So there are membership tiers 4 classes a month, 8 a month, unlimited. Or you can pay per class. They are franchises and I'm not sure if prices vary per franchise. But for 4 x month I believe I'm paying 109. A single class was 29? I think. If I'm wrong correct me and I'll update it.

Love club Pilates but bound Brook location is extremely busy. Really hard to get off waitlist…read moreunless you book for the month

Hmmm...well I've been coming here for over a month now and I can definitely say that this is NOT…read moreyour mother's jazzercise. Remember in the 80's...Jane Fonda wearing leotards and ankle warmers telling you to dance harder? Well this is a modern version of that. Here all the song's are the latest top 10 hits that you would hear on the radio while you're going to work. The routine isn't so complicated that those with 2 left feet can't handle...but it's tough enough that you will be sweating like a pig, groaning it hurts and burning some calories. Here are the top reasons to join your local jazzercise class: 1. They're always coming up with new dance/exercise routines. So you're never bored or stuck in a rut thinking you got this because you've memorized it. You're constantly on your toes mentally and physically because they're constantly giving you something new. 2. It's a fun combination of cardio and strength training. Maybe I have ADHD...I dunno but I cannot stand running on a treadmill, elliptical machine or joining a cycling class. I get really bored with the monotony and it kind of reminds me of hamsters running on the wheel but with no where to go. Honey we're not hamsters! Just standing there and hitting the weights or machines, waiting for my turn in between steriod induced meatheads is also not appealing. 3. You get encouragement...the type of encouragement you would pay an arm and a leg for with a personal trainer. The instructor is up in the front watching everything you do and don't be surprised when she calls you out for slacking on a move or makes you push harder. That's what you pay her for...to push you. 4. The variety in instructors. You have different personalities and different approaches to a class. This again keeps things from getting boring and routine. Each class is around $12 or you can pay for a yearly subscription which is $40 per month or a 6 month subscription which is $45 a month. There's a class 5 days a week and they're always at night except for saturday which is early in the morning...so you have no excuse not to attend because it'll be after work and school. You will also meet a nice group of ladies that are very encouraging and friendly and that's what you need when you're trying to be more healthy. Of course every jazzercise facility is different because this is a franchise...but it's an international franchise and definitely worth checking out. Men come and join too...no sexism here :-)

This was such a great class!…read more The instructors were so bubbly and motivating and had such rhythm! They delivered a fun but challenging routine. You will sweat in this class and there's a great section at the end for strength and toning which all combined makes for a great workout, that doesn't feel like a workout because it's so much fun. The space is big so you're not crowded next to people. I had plenty of space to flail about in my very uncoordinated way and not bump into anyone! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming too. A lovely group
