Ok so we recently just booked a party package here for my nephew's birthday and we all had such a…read moregreat time! So Andrettis is an indoor karting, laser tag, and game room located right next to the Convention Center on International Drive. This place definitely was easily accessible from the main road and had plenty of parking in their private parking lot. So on the day of our event, upon arrival, we were greeted immediately and checked in quickly and efficiently. The staff were all very kind and helpful! The party room was located in the back of the building and was a pretty spacious room, with its own private bathroom. For our birthday package we opted for the laser tag, and arcade option for the kids and it kept them occupied for a few hours. Now for the food, I was very impressed by the quality and presentation of all the items we selected! Yes the food was just your average fried bar food... but I thought everything was super fresh and all came out very quick. The pizza, wings, and cheese curds were outstanding! Lastly, our party attendant was top notch! She was very attentive, had great communication, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I will say that even though the birthday package at Andretti's is a bit on the pricier side... we thought it was definitely worth it... my nephew had a very memorable birthday!

As you can see from my review history, I usually leave positive reviews when I am impressed and…read morerarely post negative comments when I am disappointed. However, I feel compelled to write a negative one in this case. On 3/6, I purchased two Gold Packages for myself and my 13 year old daughter. Each package includes two races. The representative who helped us explained that if we only completed one race that day, the remaining race would be stored as a credit on our membership cards. We therefore used only one race on 3/6. When we returned the next day, the representative at the counter, Desi, told us the next race would start in about six minutes. However, when I presented our membership cards, she said she could not see the remaining race credit. She then began asking questions such as whether we had purchased only one Gold Package and shared it, and whether we had receipts. It was clear she suspected we were trying to misuse the system. She continued questioning us for several minutes until I finally asked her to call the manager. While the manager was looking up the information, I logged into my credit card account to show proof of purchase. When I approached the counter with that information, the manager said rather casually, "Oh, we already found it." Unfortunately, by that time we had missed the race we could have joined and had already spent about 20 minutes standing at the counter. No one initially apologized for the inconvenience. When I told the manager that Desi should apologize, the manager responded, "It was not our fault. It was a system error. Sorry." Desi then said, "You did not even give me a chance," and tossed the race tickets onto the counter before trying to walk away. When I said that if I had not asked for the manager she likely would have continued questioning us suspiciously, she responded in a hostile tone, "If you want to take a picture of my badge, you can." The entire interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and disappointing. System errors can happen, but how staff handle them matters. A simple apology and professional attitude would have made a big difference.

Every single staff member we came into contact with was super friendly. Even other visitors were commenting on this. Their safety practices are thorough. I felt comfortable with their safety practices. The wooden roller coaster is way more than it looks. For a small coaster, it packs a lot of punch! We ride front seat and back seat. If you are prone toto neck and back issues, do not ride the back cars lol. Why did i not give five stars? My very favorite ride in the planet is the tilt a whirl and before getting our wristbands were specifically asked if it was running. It starts at 6pm on weeknights. We left the park for a few hours and came back at 6pm only to be told that was the only ride not operating. I know this happens but i was super bummed. It really was the main reason we went there.

Come here for cute, gimmicky Instagrammable shots! I've gone to several of these business types -…read moremostly popups - but this one is a permanent fixture. It was part of my Go City Explorer pass, which is a good deal if you want to hit up multiple random attractions and don't have a good idea of what to do. It's also slightly cheaper on Groupon if you're not from the area and want to buy individually. Parking is free in Icon Park's garage floors 4-7. It's an easy walk to the elevators to go down with a bunch of other tourists to walk through the park to near the center, where the Museum of Illusions is located. Along the way, you can get a nice photo op with the ferris wheel in the background. Once you walk in, you present your entry at the counter, and can begin walking through the exhibits on the left (the right side behind the counter is where you'll be exiting, beyond the few racks of merchandise). The walkthrough is pretty short - most of the wait is basically waiting on other people to clear out so you can take your own photos. We did everything in 45 minutes. There's not too much text to read, but sufficient enough for a basic understanding of how the illusions work. There are supposed to be a couple of guides waiting around to assist with photo-taking, but they were concentrated in one area, so for the most part it felt like we had to help ourselves. My favorite exhibits were the head on a platter, Ames room, and cloning table. Everything is still obviously a trick if you take another look at the photos. The reversed room could have been neat, but it doesn't account for gravity pull on fabric, so it only works if you have a shaved head and are wearing skin-tight clothes. The vortex tunnel is not too impressive - just more of an in-person dizzy balancing experience. The infinity room is pretty neat, though awkward when you're behind the camera. The entire experience would be a lot better if there were sensors that took photos for you, since taking the photo yourself negates some of the "magic" in the pictures. I also think they need better instructions for some rooms, since it sometimes took a few minutes to figure out what I should be looking at or doing. For a one-time experience, it's alright.

The museum wasn't crowded, which made it easy to explore the exhibits, try out all the illusion games, and take plenty of photos. Teachers get complimentary entry plus one guest, which is such a thoughtful perk. Juan, the manager, was amazing, he allowed both of my guest complimentary entry and gave me the coolest flexible pencil as a fun keepsake. The staff were super friendly and helpful, explaining how each illusion worked and helping create them. They even took the pictures, which made the experience even more interactive and entertaining. I just wish the museum were a bit bigger so we could've spent even more time there, but overall it's a unique, fun, and memorable spot that's worth a visit!

From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was really well done. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. They have a buffet for breakfast and lunch with a good variety of options, so I feel like most people could find something they like. There are also smaller stands with snacks, pizza, and ICEE stations. Now let's talk about the drinks. There is just something about a frozen daiquiri when you're by the water. Highly recommend getting the drink package and trying a few... or all of them if you can handle it. I loved how many different areas there were to explore. Seeing dolphins swimming so close to the beach was actually kind of magical. They also have a monkey island which I was really excited about. It was closed when we got there, but I could still see them from a distance and I loved that. The aviary was really cool too. Tons of birds, but also tons of people. They recommend going first thing when the birds are most active, which we did, but so did everyone else. We got there about 45 minutes after opening and the birds already seemed a little over it. Honestly, I don't blame them. The Grand Reef was such a cool experience. I didn't really know what to expect, and even though it's man made, it still feels really immersive. Some of those rays are huge and have zero fear. They will swim right into you. My guy had never experienced anything like that and he loved it. I also liked that there were shallow areas and deeper sections if you wanted more of a snorkeling feel. The only downside for us was the Wind Away River. There are spots that get deep really fast, and that day they were apparently out of floaties because people were hoarding them and claiming areas. Staff even acknowledged it, which was frustrating because nothing was being done about it. It made parts of the river harder to enjoy than they should have been. Other than that, everything else was great and it made for such a fun day. Also the bar swings were a highlight. Loved those.
