I've been to AC way too many times in my life and until very recently, I had no idea this place…read moreexisted at all, let alone that they've been here for a few years. The setup is very simple. You head to their website and make a reservation for a time, pay for said time and then take care of the required waivers that will be emailed to you. I supposed if you're coming on a slower day like Thursday, you could just show up without a reservation and take care everything once you get there. With that said, I made a reservation for an early Saturday night about an hour before showing up without issue. westecunkaxe.com/ Checking in at the front counter was very easy and before you know it, you're led to a bay to begin throwing. But, before you start throwing, they have several coaches who are all very nice-funny-gracious that take the time to make sure you know what you're doing so that you can get the most out of the experience. We had done axe throwing once prior at a place in Hershey and in comparison, the coaches here are more involved (in a good way) and that truly does make a difference. A few random notes: The place is small and when it's busy, things are very loud between all of the throwing. overhead music, laughing, etc. No problem hearing the lively vibe outside in the parking lot. Speaking of parking, there is a small lot that is shared with another business. When we showed up, there weren't many spaces left but we found one without issue. Would I recommend parking on the street somewhere close by? Caveat Emptor on that one. It is AC after all and the entire town always screams sketch. You pay for an hour of throwing/coaching time. We showed up a few minutes early so we lucked out into an extra 10 minutes that was very nice but by the time we left, the next group was definitely waiting for us to finish as it was a busy Saturday night. Overall this was a a lot of fun and now that we know it exists, I'm sure we'll be back in the near future.

We had the whole place to ourselves 2. We even got a little extra time (idk if it was because of the time or the guy) Billy was our couch for the session and he was fantastic! He was super nice, great teacher (felt like pros by the end lol), great photographer (will insert his pics below), AND he changed the music from country to pop without us needing to ask. We definitely weren't putting down a country vibe and he picked that up lol, very much appreciated. We paid $50 for the hour ($25 per person) and tipped of course just in case someone wanted a price range. Highly recommend!

I personally hate that shit, if I am being a fool I would like the opportunity to hit the wall and learn for my self. Another mention that I have to detail is legit the bathroom was one of the worst kept bathrooms I have ever seen. It looks like a bathroom out of your high school but never attended to. The arcade looks fairly decent however my nephews that attempted to have some fun at the arcade said most of the games were out of order. Although I personally enjoyed myself as this was a new experience racing a go-kart I have to advise you should go to a different spot for this activity. We initially wanted to go to Arnold's Fun Center in Oaks, PA to race but they recently changed the hours and that is why we ended up at this location. Also, be careful if you pay in cash as I received the wrong change and they had to get the manager involved in how to break a $100 dollar bill. If you do choose to pay credit card they will charge you an added fee btw. As always people SYOY!!!

If not, other people will be apart of your race. The food options are CRAPPY. Definitely eat before you go. They have a couple of "arcade" games for kids but they are definitely out of date. The rock climbing wall was closed when I went. Not sure if it's a seasonal thing or not. There is a one membership fee when you sign up. Not really beneficial if you don't plan on going multiple times a year. Overall, this place needs some updates if it wants to keep people coming. There are more fun places to go.

I never knew…read morethis place existed as it's tucked away in business complex and I don't even remember if there was much signage (it was raining pretty hard and night time). The first great part is when we got out and my wife opened the trunk to reveal a packed cooler of beer! Now, I should note that while you are allowed to bring alcohol, you can't bring hard liquor and you cannot be visibly intoxicated or they will not admit you (probably a smart thing). We had to sign a waiver of course in the event we chopped a limb off (we didn't). And then we were taken back to our lanes. It was a Saturday night and most of the lanes were full, we had two towards the back. One of the employees walked everyone through how we should throw and gave a couple of pointers before everyone took their time to give it a shot. They had great music, it's a relaxed atmosphere and everyone working there was great. We had a phenomenal time and will definitely be returning!

You have an S hook Axe (heaviest out of the three), Hatchet (Typical Axe), or the Tomahawk Axe. Close to the end of the session they bring out a Firemen Axe that you can attempt to throw at the target and is easiest the hardest to maneuver. In addition to the Axe throwing, they have a fun baskettball arcade two person competition game that you all should be familiar from the days of your childhood arcade days and many other fun games such as shuffle board, Jenga, darts etc. This is perfect if you have a large party and are waiting your turn to throw as you can play a fun game while you wait. When I think of Axe throwing I am reminded of the beginning of the movie, "The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner. There is a scene where someone is trying to recruit him to take on the bodyguard job and he is leisurely lobbing an axe at a wooden stake trying to land a shot. I can now see the allure of such a skillful and cathartic experience. As always people SYOY!!!

We booked an hour ($32 per person per hour) which got us our own lane with two targets, two tomahawks and two hatchets, and "axe master" Alexis who showed us how everything worked and gave us tips on how to throw better. You can also pay extra to throw a wide assortment of gnarley, medieval looking weapons like spears and daggers and such. I spent a good chunk of time aiming for the blue dot "kill shot" and finally succeeded with just a few minutes left in the session. This got me the right to write my name in a blue sticker and spin the prize wheel and I got a Bury the Hatchet coozie to take home with me. This location is BYO (both food and alcohol - but no liquor) and they have tables where you can set up food and drinks. Kids are allowed but minimum age is 10. Overall a great place for a date night or time out with friends. We'll definitely be back sometime.

I highly recommend, we will definitely go back. And Kudos to you Leroi!
