This was our 3rd time coming to Stumpy's and it again a blast. It was the first time for three of our group and they loved it! Scott is a great host and he made my birthday extra special. I love my birthday t-shirt! We ordered pizza from Brother's, the place Scott recommended as they're close and have gluten-free options. If you haven't tried this yet, come to Stumpy's!

If you haven't been to Stumpy's yet, take this as your sign to make reservations! My first experience with Stumpy's was through their Eatontown location, and I was thrilled when they opened this spot much closer to me. When I went for the first time, I was blown away. The space is gorgeous, comfortable, and inviting. There are nooks for all size parties whether you're going for a date night, with a small group of friends, or a big birthday bash - you cannot go wrong. The staff goes above and beyond every time from check-in, to support at the pits, and making sure guests are having a great experience. During Covid-19 it has been especially impressive how they have kept groups separate and the spaces clean while maintaining a fun atmosphere. BYOB guarantees everyone will have what they like to drink, and ice buckets are provided to keep things cool. Plus there are some great snacks up front to keep everyone fueled and the occasional food truck night! There are also lots of fun side games and a photobooth with props. Seriously, get to Stumpy's - you'll be planning your next trip back before you leave.

Great time! Needed to host a larger group of people and this was the perfect spot! The owners Scott and alisa were INCREDIBLE to work with. Absolutely amazing and worth It. There are a few other stumpys locations and this was my favorite in terms of customer service and staff. Everyone was friendly and safe throughout our whole time there. There's a room in the back for bigger groups of people which we were able to use to ourselves since It wasn't that busy. Brought our own beers and food and had a great time for 2 hours! 1000% recommend choosing stumpys in Princeton for your next party or just hang out!

What a wonderful place for you to throw sharp weapons & celebrate life!…read more Got to attend their official ribbon-cutting event in early February, hosted by the dynamic owners, Carly & Walter, with featured guests from the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce and the Love Flemington team. Situated at The Shoppes At Flemington, just across from Al Fresco's, this expansive venue stands out with more lanes than your average axe-throwing facility. Whether you're planning a gathering with friends, a corporate event, or a networking soirée, Axeiom Ax Throwing has ample space to accommodate. With 20+ lanes to unleash your inner lumberjack, Axeiom's inviting environment is perfect for even the most cautious of friends. Families are encouraged too, as there's a designated kids' area for youngsters to play while staying safely away from the throwing action and of course, if they're 12 years or older and accompanied by a parent, they can play as well. BYOB and BYO-food, perhaps from one of the local restaurants in The Shoppes, as Axeiom provides plenty of table & chair space as well as ice refills and pails to keep your beverages chilled. Take advantage of their Thursday date night specials and keep an eye out for upcoming themes and league offerings! Axeiom is undeniably going to be one of the most exciting places in Flemington this year and be sure to make your reservations to immerse yourself in some serious fun!

Went with my Dad to celebrate Father's Day!…read more We went on a Tuesday and the crowd was minimal. The place had a great atmosphere with a well laid out map plan. Everything was spread out and didn't feel on top of each other. The location was way bigger than it had appeared to be. Bathrooms were spotless. I initially had my Dad and I to do one race and an hour of axe throwing but after our race my Dad lit up. So I asked the helpful associate Angel if we can sub our axe game for another race. The manager Nicole was such a sweetheart and did it no problem. Amazing experience, 10/10 recommend. My only dilemma is for people who carry most of their height in their legs beware. The go-cart seat can only go back so much. But otherwise we had a blast.

We did two races my teenager could participate in, plus one pro race. In every race, multiple karts stopped partway through, and each time one of us was involved. I understand that issues can happen, but there was absolutely no communication from staff about what was happening or why. The worst moment was watching my child's kart stop on a hill and slide backward down the incline. The same thing had happened to me earlier, but seeing it happen to my child was far more upsetting. It felt unsafe and genuinely scary. On top of that, the whole experience caused me major anxiety. I understand the need for safety, but the silence from staff during repeated stoppages made everything worse. It felt like being stuck in a vacuum with no information, and that lack of communication added so much unnecessary stress. The axe throwing was great, but the go-karting experience left me very uncomfortable because of the safety concerns and poor communication.

I never knew…read morethis place existed as it's tucked away in business complex and I don't even remember if there was much signage (it was raining pretty hard and night time). The first great part is when we got out and my wife opened the trunk to reveal a packed cooler of beer! Now, I should note that while you are allowed to bring alcohol, you can't bring hard liquor and you cannot be visibly intoxicated or they will not admit you (probably a smart thing). We had to sign a waiver of course in the event we chopped a limb off (we didn't). And then we were taken back to our lanes. It was a Saturday night and most of the lanes were full, we had two towards the back. One of the employees walked everyone through how we should throw and gave a couple of pointers before everyone took their time to give it a shot. They had great music, it's a relaxed atmosphere and everyone working there was great. We had a phenomenal time and will definitely be returning!

Very fun experience. Three axes you get to handle and throw for either a one hour or two hour…read moresession depending on which duration you pick. You have an S hook Axe (heaviest out of the three), Hatchet (Typical Axe), or the Tomahawk Axe. Close to the end of the session they bring out a Firemen Axe that you can attempt to throw at the target and is easiest the hardest to maneuver. In addition to the Axe throwing, they have a fun baskettball arcade two person competition game that you all should be familiar from the days of your childhood arcade days and many other fun games such as shuffle board, Jenga, darts etc. This is perfect if you have a large party and are waiting your turn to throw as you can play a fun game while you wait. When I think of Axe throwing I am reminded of the beginning of the movie, "The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner. There is a scene where someone is trying to recruit him to take on the bodyguard job and he is leisurely lobbing an axe at a wooden stake trying to land a shot. I can now see the allure of such a skillful and cathartic experience. As always people SYOY!!!
