First axe-throwing experience. Went out for a work team outing and it was fun, but also a little frustrating. It took us a while to get our form right but then found some consistency. The place was empty for awhile until another group came in. I felt like it was really pricey at essentially $35/per person for an hour- over $100 for 3 of us. Also, the lanes are really short and we had the axe bounce out of the enclosure more than once. I would definitely try axe throwing again, but maybe somewhere else. read more

This is a fun stop. Several areas to throw axes and there is also a room for painting and a small VR game area you can enjoy. What I didn't like was the fact in order to get to the other rooms or walk to another axe board you need to walk in front of the other throwers. You could go back behind them but it is awkward with people standing in their area. There was no problem everyone was aware and would stop so you could walk by but for sure that was a concern for me that I didn't like. The layout could be much better. read more

Axeclusive is a fun hangout spot and good place to go hang out with your friends. They have mini axe throwing indoors and virtual reality rooms. There is a lot of music playing on the speakers and snacks available for purchase. The staff is available and will assist you if you need any help with your games or axe throwing. I'm not sure if it's like this in every virtual reality booth but we just got one VR headset in ours to share among 2 people. Overall, it's a fun place to go to and reasonably priced. read more

Torn on this review. It was difficult to book in advance as their website kept having payment errors. I also contacted them via email and phone call and it took over a week for them to get back to me. We went to dinner beforehand about a mile away and our dinner ran late. I called Axeclusive and they were able to push our reservation back which was awesome. When we arrived last evening there was zero parking due to an event nearby, not Axeclusvie's fault at all and they were trying to help us park somewhere legally which we all appreciated. The inside of this place is poorly lit, very warm and had a mildly/unpleasant odor. One of the axe's in our two lanes had a lot of wear and tear. However, everyone had fun! The customer service is what really drives me to provide the 4 star review. read more

The manager on duty was very thorough with the axe throwing demo. He provided different game ideas as well, all very fun and challenging! It made the experience unique and memorable. He not only provide thorough training, but checked back in frequently with every team playing- very helpful because I was about to throw in the towel because I kept missing. I visited Axeclusive with my cousin. Safi the owner and Tiffany were super welcoming the moment we walked in the door. I must admit I was a bit scared of the whole axe throwing concept, but Safi took his time to show us how to properly throw the axe. He showed us various techniques, and quickly made us feel comfortable. This is definitely a great way to relieve stress! We also did virtual reality. This was my first time trying VR, and I did not know what to expect. It was super easy to get a hang of it, and I absolutely loved it! They have multiple game options to choose from. On the plus side, they're located in a strip mall, so parking, while tight, is available. I read the reviews for this place and was pretty excited. (We made it an early date night - Friday @ 4!) As we were the only party there, aside from the one employee, we thought it'd be pretty nice. However, I was appalled when he decided to blast uncensored, explicit rap music. So, as we were "axe-ing", song after song, we heard ALL the expletives in each song ranging from the b-word, n-word, p-word, and so on. Why would someone think that this was okay to play aloud in a business? The employee was pretty scarce, still prepping the place for business, even as our time there progressed. At one point, we received a phone call from said employee about our reservation, because although we gave our information upon entry, he wasn't paying much attention. Then, as we tried to check out, a salesman entered for a pre-arranged meeting of cleaning services and, instead of politely checking us out first, so we could leave, we were left just standing there, while their conversation played out. UNLESS you know how to actually play all of their VR games, forget it! There's only one VR headset so if you're in a group, you have to wait your turn and waste your hour! In this case if I'm going to be charged $45 for breaking an axe then every customer who comes in should be given a NEW AXE and a VERBAL WARNING. If you break the big axe it's $130!
