We had to sign a waiver of course in the event we chopped a limb off (we didn't). And then we were taken back to our lanes. In addition to the Axe throwing, they have a fun baskettball arcade two person competition game that you all should be familiar from the days of your childhood arcade days and many other fun games such as shuffle board, Jenga, darts etc. This is perfect if you have a large party and are waiting your turn to throw as you can play a fun game while you wait. When I think of Axe throwing I am reminded of the beginning of the movie, "The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner. There is a scene where someone is trying to recruit him to take on the bodyguard job and he is leisurely lobbing an axe at a wooden stake trying to land a shot. The 1 hour always flies by as we were trying to figure out all of the clues. We chose the Speak Easy puzzle which was great. We had to ask for multiple clues to get started however, once we got in the groove it was smooth sailing. The speak easy room was 4/6 difficulty so it made for a fun time. By the end of the session we were exhausted from scrambling around but it was worth it in the end. We were able to complete the puzzle however, the last two clues did not work so the staff had to come into the room to help us. From her knowledge they just redid that room and all the clues were not set up correctly therefore, we could not truly complete the quests. Overall, it was a good time. Great team building exercise. I wish they made sure the room was fully functional prior to allowing customers to book that space for the 1 hour session. I recommend checking this establishment out if you are in the area. Cheers!

Another mention that I have to detail is legit the bathroom was one of the worst kept bathrooms I have ever seen. It looks like a bathroom out of your high school but never attended to. The arcade looks fairly decent however my nephews that attempted to have some fun at the arcade said most of the games were out of order. Although I personally enjoyed myself as this was a new experience racing a go-kart I have to advise you should go to a different spot for this activity. We initially wanted to go to Arnold's Fun Center in Oaks, PA to race but they recently changed the hours and that is why we ended up at this location. Also, be careful if you pay in cash as I received the wrong change and they had to get the manager involved in how to break a $100 dollar bill. She clearly and patiently explained all the options and was a fantastic ambassador for the front desk. We bought the 3-ride bundle. Since a couple of the kids were under 15, we started with a Semi-Pro race. Unfortunately, my kart wasn't working properly--it braked going uphill, downhill, and pretty much whenever it felt like it. Not exactly the ideal start. The next races we switched to Pro, but there were still quite a few racers on the track. If you're hoping to set records, I'd definitely recommend coming at a quieter time. When you have slower drivers who haven't quite figured out how to drive yet, patience becomes part of the experience. Despite that, everyone had a great time, and the staff really made the experience enjoyable. A couple of negatives: the karts should be checked more carefully before putting them into a race. Losing a race because your kart isn't functioning properly is frustrating. And then there's the price. Three races each for the whole family gets very expensive--almost approaching what you might pay for a full day at Universal Studios. That definitely puts the cost into perspective. I would give a 5 star for the racetrack and the staff, but the price and the broken kart brought it down to 3. So 4 in total Would I do it again? Absolutely. Would my wallet agree? Probably not. Everything was spread out and didn't feel on top of each other. The location was way bigger than it had appeared to be. Bathrooms were spotless. I initially had my Dad and I to do one race and an hour of axe throwing but after our race my Dad lit up. So I asked the helpful associate Angel if we can sub our axe game for another race. The manager Nicole was such a sweetheart and did it no problem. Amazing experience, 10/10 recommend. My only dilemma is for people who carry most of their height in their legs beware. The go-cart seat can only go back so much. But otherwise we had a blast.
