My wife and I actually bought our bedding system from Yong back in 2016, after retiring and moving to Laguna Woods, CA. We did our research and decided that Axel Bloom was exactly whet we wanted. Here it is, nearly seven years later, and I can say that the system is everything we'd hoped for, it's Yong's quality of personal service that deserves the real kudos. He and his wife Bonnie are the real deal. You can count on 100% provider integrity as well as a bedding system that is second to none. It's all about support, and while we've had no serious issues, it's good to feel like you're their only customer when the need arises. When I recently moved from Los Angeles to Nashville, there was a different crew unloading and setting up in Nashville. No one knew anything about the electrical system of the Axel Bloom beds and we got a hold of Yong Lee. Yong put his installer on the phone and he talked us step by step through connecting all the wires. My dearest Lady Friend dragged me to Westwood more than a year ago just to look at the Axel Bloom beds. I was only humoring her with no intention of ever investing in such a definitive sleep system. We purchased the Doppelflex MX2 in 2020. We had sold our big house and were going tiny --- our new home was a 5th wheel. I adjust my sleeping position multiple times each night. My husband sleeps on his stomach or side most of the night and stays flat. We contacted Axel Bloom looking for a short split queen adjustable bed. From the get-go, they have been amazing. Fantastic customer support! They guided us through selecting the product that would work best for our needs and provided additional insights on customization that would make it fit better in the RV (slightly narrower frame), make our lives easier (standard sized sheets we could find online), and provided tips and support for installation specific to RVs. We topped ours with Purple mattresses. The combination has been hands down the best sleep of our lives. I do stretches in bed semi-upright, shift to 0G as I'm dozing off, and then lay flat toward the early morning. We've had the bed base over two and half years, and the motors are still working seamlessly. We've reached out to Axel Bloom a couple times with questions since the original purchase. Yong has been responsive and helpful every time. We've had other adjustable frame beds in the past, but the Axel Bloom is the most versatile and highest quality by far. I went from being lucky to get 5 hours of restless sleep to regularly averaging a little over 7 hours of high-quality sleep. Obviously, the value of that in itself is priceless to me! I bought an Axel Bloom bed a few years ago. I was happy with the buying experience, and have been happy with the bed. Then when I decided to lower the bed to make it easier for my dog to get up and down, I did not know how to proceed. I contacted Yong, and he and Reynato got the legs of the bed cut down and even reinstalled the rubber feet. They were both so nice. My wife and I needed an adjustable base RV bed and mattress to be at least as comfortable as our home sleep system. Success! We contacted Axel Bloom in Los Angeles after seeing an ad in an RV Magazine. Yong Lee and his wife Bonnie are the owners and it shows. Their knowledge and commitment to service is the best. Yong spent hours on the phone with us and was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Many people travel to the showroom, but we were not able to travel all the way across the country to do that. My advice is to tell Yong what you need and buy based on that. He was correct on every suggestion he made. Now, a year later, still no buyer's remorse, yes you get what you pay for. Next is customer support. Things sometimes break, such as when the control module to your bed gets caught in the slide out (should have positioned that better). Any way, after a call to the office, Bonnie overnighted a replacement to our resort location (after volunteering to call the RV resort office to determine the best way to ship the part to us!) and it got to Florida before we even arrived. Additionally, Bonnie then spent a significant amount of time patiently walking us through the set up of the replacement part. She was super helpful and went above and beyond... LOVE OUR NEW BED!!! My husband and I recently purchased a bed from Axel Bloom...a queen DW800 mattress and Silverstar GT Suspension system. (We previously had a Sleep Number with dual controls, which provided a poor quality of sleep.) We bought this after our son, Nate, had purchased the Austroflex mattress from Axel Bloom 4 years ago and has raved about his great quality of sleep ever since! This convinced us to invest in our sleep and make the purchase for ourselves. After sleeping in our new bed, we see why Nate loves his bed and brags about having the best sleep of his life. Like his bed, our new bed is extraordinarily comfortable and was well worth the investment. While sleeping, we have no pressure points whatsoever, regardless of the position of sleep (front, back, side.) It is soft enough for comfort, but firm enough for proper support. The Silverstar Suspension system offers the ability to adjust the slats and their stiffness (very simple) on each 1/2 of the bed, so my husband and I can customize the firmness of each side of our bed to maximize individual comfort. We have purchased a couple of Axel Bloom beds over the years and they have been absolutely incredible. Apart from being the most comfortable beds we've ever owned they are fully adjustable and last for years. However, one of the things we most appreciated was the service provided by owners Yong and Bonnie. They go out of their way to explain things and accommodate clients' specific needs, as well as make whatever adjustments necessary. This also translates to an amazing service during installation. The only problem with their beds is the fact that our lives are a lot less productive right now since we sleep longer and don't feel like getting out of bed in the morning. I have chronic acid reflux to the point of sleeping in a recliner for years. Had looked at several adjustable beds, but none would fit in our motorhome and the mattresses weren't very comfy. Spotted their add in my motorhome magazine and we were visiting California so decided to stop in. Yong and wife were so helpful and spent so much time with us. Sure they're expensive. Yes, they're the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. But owner Jong Lee is unique person who stands by his excellent product; friendly, outgoing, patient, and accommodating. We had an issue with a transformer that controls the bed motion on the unit purchased in 2014. I expected to ask Jong to send me a new one and that would be that. Not Jong. He immediately called me back and insisted on replacing it himself. Within three hours, he and his technician had driven from Westwood to Thousand Oaks and fixed it themselves. Really?! I bought an Axel Bloom bed a year ago. At the time I had ongoing back issues and when I got up in the morning (had a sleep number bed at the time), I was always bent over with back pain. First morning after the Axel Bloom bed was installed, no back pain. Thought that was a bit too soon to give credit to the bed so just thought it was a coincidence. I was totally wrong there. Since the installation of this bed system that has always been my experience. When I get up in the morning my back is great, I am not hunched over as I had been before and thought was my new "normal". I am just amazed that this bed change made such a huge difference in this back situation. This doesn't even get to the amazing service and sales information we got when we originally went to the store. And, stunningly, we were actually undersold, told we didn't need the upgrades that I was totally ready to go for. Plus we got such a thorough explanation of the technology of the bed (mathematical me loved that part, others may not). Don't forget to get their pillows. We took them home the day we purchased the bed and fell monumentally in love with them. I just can't say enough about this experience. The folks at the store are amazing, give you so much good information, don't pressure you or try to make you buy something and really, maybe they should, just cause it would be to your benefit. As I said, I have now had this bed for at least a year, and OMG I just thing I have died and gone to heaven. So, for the past 9 months, my husband and I have been sleeping on the first version of the sleep number bed. As time has gone by, the bed required us to adjust the firmness of the bed on a day basis. Over the past few weeks, the firmness we set did not even last through the night. After sleeping on a "deflated balloon" for about two weeks, we took the suggestion from a very good friend and visited Axel Bloom in Westwood, CA. I called the store and spoke to Bonnie, who was very warm and told us to just come in and try the beds out. I gave her my name and told her that we would be there later that day. Upon entering, Bonnie welcomed me and my husband by first name. Then Yong came and told us about how they were expecting us all afternoon. My reason for mentioning all this is because, both Yong and Bonnie, really made us feel comfortable and special, not like just another customer. Yong gave us the tour and explanation about the slat systems and the mattresses. We tried a few out. Yong spend extra time with us adjusting the slats/mattresses to ensure we get the exact comfort level that we needed. We fell in love with it. Words cannot express the comfort level of being on the Axel Bloom beds verse being on any other bed. Yong and Bonnie worked very hard at putting together an unbeatable deal for us. Of course, the cost seems high at first, but after thinking about what we are paying for - a bed that will mostly last you a lifetime, $$$ saved on medical or chiropractor bills, and restful sleep through the night, it was an easy decision to move forward with the purchase. In the past, I have spent about $1,000 on a nice bed and box spring that began to sink in 2 years, even turning the mattresses did not really change/affect anything. The Axel Bloom beds will probably last 15+ years - without sinking! As for the experience of sleeping, for the first time in a long time, I was able to sleep through the entire night and wake up the next morning completely rested and refreshed! That itself is priceless! My husband and I also decided to go ahead and purchase the slat system that is motorized. Since both of us are on our feet all day, we love the feature of being able to elevate our legs (without a ton of pillows) and/or being able to prop up to watch TV/read in bed. No need to by a separate recliner! We also purchased the pillows. They are awesome! They contour to your head and neck perfectly! A must have! Delivery was very easy as well. We bought our beds 2007 and have never regretted it. The mattress DW800 Euro is unbeatable. Firm, yet not too firm, it allows a comfortable sleep, and together with the adjustable motorized bed frame it is the most beneficial sleeping solution available. Other reviewers have already mentioned the benefit of sleeping with the increased head part. My wife used also the foot increase regularly. After 7 years, one cannot see traces of use on the mattress. One other huge advantage is that the mattress is relatively light and not too thick. One can easily lift it for changing covers and sheets or to turn it over, if needed. And it comes with a washable cover! Extremely practical. The service provided by Yong and Bonnie is very personal. Was in need of a new bed. I've tried temperpedic, sleep number and no luck. I was open to experiment with a new brand. I was on the bed forums and came across the austoflex mattress and saw that axel bloom in Los Angeles was a retailer in the US. After reading lots of reviews I gave it a shot in the dark and bought one. I had read lots of positive reviews on Yong, the business owner and gave him a call. He was excellent in explaining all the models and features and gave me a clear idea of what I wanted. I had the mattress shipped to me in Illinois and shipping/delivery was arranged by Yong as he worked with my schedule to find the best time/day for delivery. I've been using this mattress for over a year now and I can say that I've never slept so good. It takes away all the pain in pressure points and allows for a comfortable sleep at any angle. Yes the bed will cost more but it's very high quality and high performance and will last for many years. Both the mattress and pillow have washable outer shells that zip on/off easily. The bed frame I purchased from this store as expensive as it was is the worst I ever owned. As I write this I finished for the 5th time in a year trying to make it stop making noises by putting books, slippers, towels and whatever I can find level it off . I called the store twice. The first time I was told to look in their website for fixes. The second time after trying some of the fixes that were suggested and did not work I called the store again as the owner told me that it was not installed properly (even though they installed it) and that if I wanted them to take a look at it I would have to pay for the visit. My husband and are in our 60's. We both have arthritis & bad backs. About a year ago my father passed away so we "inherited" his 15-yr old Axelbloom Calif King bed. He took very good care of it and it was very clean. At first we were delighted by how great we felt in the mornings, but after only a month (or so) both of started having lots of new and unusual morning pain and stiffness. We're wondering if these beds have a lifespan and maybe ours has reached it. Nothing about that on their website. We may look into replacing 'cuz these really are reputed to be great beds! read more

We had been a long time (20+year) devotee of a Dux Bed and were satisfied with its general level of comfort but because of its traditional construction, it was not adjustable. My wife and I felt we needed a bed that had the ability to be multi purpose. In addition, I was experiencing a persistent morning cough, my internist said "nothing wrong" but try propping a couple of pillows under my upper body to elevate it slightly, the pillows moved around, sometimes it would help but most of the time the use of pillows was ineffective. The combination of motorized positioning and the personally customizable mattress/box spring is unique in both its form and function, a truly elegant solution to a personalized bed. Yung and Bonita's customer service is really personal service and an equal to the quality of the product they sell, both in a class by themselves. Yong personally installed the bed in our home and carefully explained the wireless controls. He then gave us his card with his cell phone number on it,with the admonition of call me 24/7 if you have a question/concern, personal service doesn't get any better than that. I always thought that ads that said a bed changed their life were a lie, then I bought an Axel Bloom bed. After back surgery sleep was a war zone, every morning it would take me an hour to feel okay enough to get on with my day. A friend suggested Axel Bloom beds and I went to the store in Westwood and spoke with Yong and a great young woman named Desi, they spent 2 hours with me, moving mattresses around, and having me try different things. They were incredibly helpful, kind, knowledgable, interesting and not pushy. I waited a few months and finally couldn't take it anymore and went back to Axel Bloom. Once again they spent well over an hour making sure everything was perfect. They did not try to upsell me at all. I ordered the bed and Young came to my house with a technician to make sure everything was set up exactly right for me. I couldn't believe I woke up the next morning, I had 90% less pain and just got right up and into the shower. That was a month ago and I am an entirely new person. The only problem I can see with my new bed is I never want to get out of it! I can't thank Yong and Desi enough. The customer service and product are outstanding. I don't know that I have ever been so sure that I absolutely made the right purchase. I wish all shopping experiences were as fun and pleasant as my one at Axel Bloom. read more
