My store experience was VERY positive, unfortunately when they handed me off to Apple assistance for the next steps Apple was unable to help it took 45 minutes of chatting and 45 minutes on the phone to realize that they were unable to help me what they said was not consistent with what the website said and unfortunately didn't work. Basically I spend 5 hours including traveling, time in the store and dealing with customer service. Then they said sorry you were given incorrect info and it's not gonna work. What it says online is not correct. I'd love it if they just reached out and helped out it seems like the store and the customer service aren't talking. The store would've had a 5 star rating if it wasn't for being handed off with misleading information. I'd like to emphasize I think the store tried hard, but they handed me off to a process that wasn't able to help and should've known that it was unable to help.

We received several quotes to rewire our house and many of the contractors proposed simply cutting much of our drywall above the baseboards for easy access to wiring and one suggested even moving out of the house while work was done. Ted and Luis were able to do the full rewire with minimal drywall cutting (4 small areas in all) and no disruption to our electricity when we needed it mornings and evenings. They told me I could send it out to have the data recovered through their trusted third party companies. When I called that company, they quoted me anywhere from 800 to 4k for the job. Being thin on options, I googled Macbook repair and this business came up (I made sure to check all the reviews). The communication was one of the best I've experienced. I sent it in and they repaired it in 2-3 days with everything there, it was as if the laptop was never damaged. All the data was kept and everything works perfectly. Not to mention the cost was 1/5 the price of what I would've had to otherwise pay through Apple. When I came to collect the laptop and pay, the technician greeted me at the door and shook my hand telling me everything he did. I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.
