Highly recommend. I brought my computer in on Tuesday because it looked like the battery was warping. They told me they would inspect and call me by the end of the day. True to their word - they called me that day. I called them back Wednesday morning. They quoted $130 and advised it would be ready latest Monday depending on when they could get the battery. Much to my surprise they called me around 5 pm Thursday and let me know it was already ready. They are open until 6 pm on weekdays so I was able to go and pick it up right away. I'm happy that I was able to get it sooner so to minimize the work I needed to get done for my business. Note: I'm sure I could have replaced it myself but it literally looked like it would blow any minute so I didn't want to take the chance and they also take care of battery disposal which I didn't want to deal with. read more

I took my (salt water) damaged iPhone 7 Plus in for data restoration with little hope. Prior to them, I had visited several shops in the area that would not even look at my phone once I mentioned that it 1) Fell in the water at the beach and 2) I turned it on following the water damage. These guys ROCK!!!!! Apple store at Del Monte, SUCKS!!!!! Took my iPhone to the Apple store, the microphone for Siri had stopped working. After waiting for 40 minutes, they run their "diagnostics" and tell me that the microphone is defective, that it is part of the display, so the display needs to be replaced for $225 and they will have to keep the phone overnight. ALWAYS GET A SECONF OPINION! Went to Monterey Computer Repair & iPhone. They told me that 3 were 3 possible things that could be wrong. They told me they would check it out, that it would be ready in an hour, and the most it would cost was $60. As always, these guys are good to their word, phone was ready on time, I was charged $60, and I AM HAPPY. So great to do business with a totally reputable, honest local merchant. Thank you! While I am not a "true" customer, in that they didn't provide me an actual service... I wanted to write a review on the experience I did have with them, because it was positive and I'd actually recommend them. My iPhone 6 had a disastrous weekend...and upon a recommendation from a family member I visited this business. They were extremely honest with me that my phone was beyond repair, and they explained why. They also told me if I was to buy a phone from someone, that I could meet that person at their business and they could check the phone to make sure I wasn't being ripped off or scammed. I just really appreciated their honesty, their professionalism, and how incredibly nice they were. So while they didn't provide me a physical service, they were extremely gracious and honest and I would recommend them if you need your iPhone fixed. Great service! I had an issue with my vehicle scanner not being able to print DTC's. I took it apart and found the usb was loose on the circuit board. I found this place on Yelp and made an appointment to have it looked at. They took a look at my circuit board the same day and gave me an estimate to repair it. Told me it would be a couple of days to get it fixed. Called me the next day and had it working good as new! Thank you for the super fast turn around time on the repair and great customer service. I lost my phone in the snow off a ski lift for two days and the face was cracked, and these guys made it look brand new. I had a computer screen repaired and it was perfect. When I needed to see them they were available right away, they got back to me right away after the free diagnostic, and they repaired it right away. They gave me a good price and help me out numerous times. They're also really nice people. I had a new glass screen protector put on my phone.
