First time to see a dentist since moving to Las Vegas. I had lost a part of a tooth. Called them and got in same day. The staff is incredibly warm, compassionate, it seems like this is a woman only practice. Dr Alicia Carlos, was my first female dentist. She was wonderful, knowledgable and compassionate. Jill, the dental hygienist again was very pleasant, and gentle. Leticia was kind, helpful and thorough! I was so impressed with the whole team. For the first time I actually felt very comfortable getting a tooth pulled and a cleaning. They gave me comfort meds. I brought my headphones and eye mask and everything worked together really well, i had deadline to get the work done before our international vacation 3 weeks away. I am so happy I found this office! Dr. Tan retired a few years ago and sold the practice to a corporation that has had THREE different dentists in a very short time period. You are never notified of having a new dentist, you just walk in and someone else is there, so this is like 4 different dentists in less than 4 years. I have only been to the new hygienist about 4 times, and she has cancelled at the last minute twice and wanted me to reschedule immediately. The last time I didn't reschedule because I was working and she had the office staff call and text 4x in a 24-hour period and honestly tried to twist it like I was the problem because I did not immediately reschedule her cancellation. Besides the 2 last minute cancels, I sat in the waiting room once for about 30 minutes past my appointment time and I could hear her and her coworkers trying to get Bruno Mars tix on Ticketmaster. Total disrespect from her, acts like the patients are disposable. Joke is on her; there are multiple dentist offices within walking distance. I'll just walk to one of them lol. read more

Root canal area no fun. Going to the dentist is not fun i rather go to the gynecologist. Lol But this dentist is sharp, gentle and Really cares about his patients. The young ladies in the office are amazing and kind. No rushing you out if there. They want to be sure you are all good before and after your appt Dude I mention the dentist is a cutie. He is. My first visit today was great. This practice was bought out at the beginning of the year. I was welcomed in--the office was clean and efficient. I sat right down, and they used a much better X-ray system than other providers. I have a small mouth and didn't get cut once! The dentist came in and was very friendly. He asked about my goals, what I needed, and the importance of different things. He then sent in the hygienist, and she was so kind and gentle. She was also very knowledgeable about the insurance process and explained everything clearly. I'm actually excited that they're so close to my house. Highly recommend--15/10! read more

I went to Dr. Tan for two years and was always pleased. I was concerned when he transferred his practice to Dr. Cory Lange. But, I am very pleased with Dr. Lange and his dental hygienist, Jill. She gave me multiple suggestions on how I can better care for my teeth. When I mentioned that the sonic cleaning tool was painful to me, she offered to do the cleaning with the hand tools that were both quieter and less painful for me. She was very conscious of trying to make the cleaning experience as positive as possible for me. My dental cleaning and overall experience was professional, thorough, pleasant. AMAZING!!! Per: my 72 year old mother in law I was having my tooth pulled, and it was my first major procedure with Dr. Tan. My daughter and her husband had recommended Dr. Tan because he was, according to them, very gentle. I looked him up on yelp and all the reviews mentions how gentle he is. And I couldn't agree more. Dr. Vashira Tan is a gentle soul and the best doctor I've ever had. I have been a patient of doctor Tan since I think 2006 and haven't left or had any desire to seek care anywhere else. His patience and attention to details when you're in "The Special Chair" (I call it without his knowledge ), is priceless. The minute he sees you, he welcomes you like an old respected/appreciated friend. I'm a picky patient that makes sure my health and care is the number one priority when I'm with a doctor (not their personal opinions, statistics, or unintentional prejudices). I'm not a doctor visiting kind of a patient because I don't like going to the doctors or hospitals at all and the thought of going makes me jittery. My boss recommended me to Dr. Tan, and I'm very glad he did! Dr. Tan has fantastic bedside manners. By my second visit, he remembered my name, where I was born, and a few of my hobbies. If you don't have the money to spend on crowns and other expensive work other than what is absolutely necessary, he starts talking to you in a condescending way. Dr. Vashira Tan is by far the best dentist I have ever had. A few years ago he did a few thousand dollars of work on my teeth. They were very messed up. He did everything he could to minimize any pain and my teeth are great now. Since then I have moved over 20 miles away, but I keep going back to him every 6 months because of his wonderful work. am a fan of this dentist now, my insurance changed so i had to look for someone new & i found AXIS DENTAL :) very close to where i live, place is clean & organized, staff is friendly & welcoming, did't have to sit in the lobby for more than 10 mins, most important is the dentist himself !!
