Parking: There's a private lot shared with another business (a different dental office for surgical procedures I think) with plenty of parking. Ambiance/Decor: It is a very nice dental office and it's very comfy and cozy. It's clean and spacious as well! Customer Service: The customer service is okay. Sometimes, in my opinion, it did feel a bit less genuine/fake and it also felt like I was being rushed when I needed to call. It always seems like the front desk receptionists are in a hurry to hang up the phone. Dental/Appointments/Pricing: When I first started going to Island Dental, I loved my cleaning experience with the hygienist I was originally paired with but when she moved away, everyone after her that I had just seemed okay. My teeth never really felt truly amazingly clean as they had in the past with my primary hygienist in California. They really push the "boomcloud membership" which they raised the price multiple times since my first appointment. I personally think that for the quality of cleaning, it is extremely overpriced. Overall: After multiple appointments, still continuing the BoomCloud membership although my teeth never felt as clean as I would like them to be, I have decided that I would much rather go back to California to my primary dentist than to continue with Island Dental. Sure, it is beautiful office and the hygienists and doctors were kind, but it just isn't worth the price for the experience. I have been a patient there for several years and have always been pleased with their work. Dr. Baca is the third dentist I have seen at this location since 2022. Unfortunately, Dr. Baca does not do root canals and refers those to be done at the main office, Image Dental. Dr. Tran is the owner of Cheyenne and Image Dental. I don't believe Dr. Tran actually works at the Image Dental office but he does visit the Cheyenne Dental location once a week to perform root canals. In mid February, Dr. Baca referred my wife to Image Dental for two root canals procedures and her experience there was HORRIBLE!!! Dr. Tran apparently employs one dentist and several dental assistants there. The practice is run like a dental school with one overwhelmed dentist and several dental assistants who appear to be students in training. During my wife's two visits there neither of us ever saw Dr. Tran. The dentist who performed the root canals left much of the work to be done by the incompetent dental assistants. The dentist was obviously overwhelmed as she constantly went from room to room to check on the work being performed by the dental assistants on other patients. After four visits over a seven week period and FIVE attempts to scan my wife's mouth for proper measurement of the crowns, she was finally able to have the crown placement completed at Cheyenne Dental, NOT Image Dental. Bottom line, Cheyenne Dental provides limited but quality dental care. If you need anything related to root canals or other more extensive dental work, stay away from Dr. Tran and anyone associated with the Image Dental location. It's nothing more than a poorly supervised dental school with very incompetent and overwhelmed staff.

Some noted that the decline began with the retirement of Dr. Davis. He was an outstanding dentist with great rapport with his patients. His office staff, dental assistants, and hygienists reflected his influence. When he left, I noticed the same decline that other reviewers have documented here. For example, I drew a hygienist that spent about 10 minutes with me, then declared she was done; simultaneously there was a background conversation obsessed with nailing down my next appointment. However, I had an appointment today that turned it back around for me. The dental assistant was very kind, friendly, considerate, and competent. My new dentist, Dr. Brittany Cortes, could not have been nicer or more friendly or more professional! I got the impression that Dr. Davis (who apparently must still have a connection with the business) had a hand in hiring the new staff. If so, I am not surprised.
