Quality work. The staff in the office have always been positive and welcoming. After providing them with insurance info they developed a care plan based on my ins and finances. I would recommend this office to anyone committed to caring for their teeth. Unfortunately I have been to many dentists in my lifetime. They charged $175 for the cleaning, $62 for fluoride that they knew wouldn't be covered and three other charges above 'reasonable and customary'. I have two (2) dental plans and should have walked away owning nothing. They send a "statement" without any information - balance due. I've paid $48 and now they're saying I owe them $45. A trip to the dental office offered no resolution. This is unethical. Most pay $90 for a cleaning and $10 for fluoride. $453.00! DO NOT GO HERE. Unethical. ROBBERY. I had a routine filling done by Dr. Justice, and ever since, I've been in constant pain. I went back to have it corrected, but the improvement was minimal. Now, I have to find another dentist to fix the issue properly. Beyond the poor dental work, Dr. Justice's behavior made me deeply uncomfortable. He is unnecessarily touchy--why does he need to rest his hand on my knee every time he talks to me about my teeth? As a young woman, this felt highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Even worse, he repeatedly fixated on a scar on my face, something I'm already self-conscious about. Every visit, he would touch it or make unsolicited comments. The last time, he poked it and said, "Uh-oh, looks like somebody's got a pimple!" I was mortified and wanted to cry. This experience was humiliating, unsettling, and unprofessional. This review is purely for my experience, not any treatments they offer since I didn't get any. I walked in at 3:10pm for a 3:30pm appointment knowing I'd have a lot of things to fill out as a new patient. Everyone I interacted with was nice, but it took 2 hours for them to inform me that they could not do my cleaning and fillings today and that I would have to reschedule for another day. There was no reason, just that "the dentist can't do the filling and the hygienist can't do the cleaning." No other explanation. The raving Yelp reviews is what brought me in to try this place, but my experience has proven that this place has no care for a patient's time. read more

Was excessively charged then when my insurance balked at the total Boston Dental mailed me threatening to sue me or take me to collections for the balance even though I paid my part right after the procedure. Before I could even sort out what the charge was for and why my insurance was questioning it Boston Dental starts harassing me with threats. So much for customer service. Boston Dental charged me $300 for a retainer (looks like a thin plastic Invisalign). I was shocked as I thought that was way expensive, but I'd already ordered it without asking the price, so I bought it. I wasn't expecting a gouging when I ordered it. The wouldn't give me any discount, even though I'd had a ton of dental work done over the years. So I panicked when one night after I left it on my nightstand, the dog ran off with it. I couldn't find it anywhere. Oh, No! Another $300 for a new one. I asked my dog if he had seen it. AND he actually ran off and came back a few minutes later with it in his mouth and offered it to me. The financing staff are uneducated, Arlyn doesn't pay attention to what needs to be done, numerous times, I told her I cannot bring in a voided check, when I called the office, she told me to bring in a voided check. Anyway, long story short, Arlene was supposed to contact someone to see if we can move forward without a check and she NEVER got back to me. Horrible dentist all he cares about is money. I used to go there but one day m y insurance card was not working. I told the office I would get it straighten out and call them back with my card number. They practically held me hostage they would not let me leave. I was trying frantically to call my husband so he could help me and he had worked all night and was sleeping. I asked if I could make a small payment until I could get a hold of my insurance. They refused to let me go until I paid. I finally was able to call my bank to make a transfer. I was so upset with the way I was treated mind you I had been a customer for 4 years. I even paid for a mouth piece that I never got because they suddenly changed their schedule and don't work Saturdays. I faked for a refund and yet to receive one. The last time I was there it took over 90 minutes for a cleaning and a checkup. Today I went for a filling and a new issue. I left after 40 minutes in the waiting room and 25 in the chair. The techs saw me but never gave me novacaine, only the TV remote. They are staffed with young people right out of what I'm assuming is a vocational school, and I believe there is only 1 dentist. I'm looking for a DDS with a practice, not a storefront. BTW, my wife is also searching for a new dentist because she says that this Dr. has BO. This review pertains to the office at 9484 W Lake Mead Blvd Ste 2 Las Vegas, NV 89134. Boston Dental offers the very worst customer service I have ever experienced whether it be a medical or non-medical business. They ignore their phone, and return calls, if at all, after 48-72 hours. It is not unusual to wait in excess of 30-60 minutes beyond appointment time before being seen by a dentist. This dental practice is a participating in network provider as per my dental insurance, however, they required me to pay up front for the work performed and advised me that any future credit balance resulting from insurance reimbursement would be refunded. It took Boston Dental over 5 months to supply the proper documentation to my insurance company for processing. After they received the insurance payment nearly an additional 5 weeks passed before the proceeds were refunded. I spoke to numerous employees only to be told, "it takes time." I had to file claims against Boston Dental with the BBB and the Nevada Office of Consumer Affairs . I recently initiated a small claims action which I now will not pursue as I did receive my refund. I have never had a more frustrating and horrible experience at any business - medical or nonmedical. Only one front office employee (Sue) was helpful, and, although I am satisfied with the dental work, I advise future patients think twice before deciding on Boston Dental -- truly the very WORST !!! read more

I just want to thank Dr. Justice and the staff at Boston Dental for the great service! One of my crowns came off last night. I wasn't able to get into my regular dentist because they stopped taking my insurance. My wife is a patient at Boston Dental and recommended I call them to see if they could get me in for an emergency appointment. They told me I could come in as a walk-in. Dr. Justice reattached my crown and I was on my way. Dr. Justice and his staff were all very friendly and accommodating and provided me excellent service. I just came from Boston Dental , with me I have a compromised health situation I asked if the staff was vaccinated ? They told me that because of the Hippa Law they do not have to disclose that information. With my wife worked for a dentist for 25 years as an office manager, if they are vaccinated they can voluntarily tell you that they are. Her office wanted every patient to know so they would fell safe. If they were vaccinated you would think they would let you know? We walked out! I just want to warn ANYONE who has compromised health to be aware that this office does not care if you feel safe or not and that you MAY be taking a chance by going there without knowing. read more

This is a follow-up review. Since I wasn't happy with Boston dental, I made a cleaning appointment with another dental practice. I had nonrequested x-rays done with Boston. The new dentist's office wanted do x-rays, but I told them that I would have the Boston x-rays sent to them. So, I went back to Boston and filled out a release form. I was told that an email to my new dentist's office would be sent that day. Four days later I go to my new dentist and I'm told that no x-rays were sent. I called Boston to see why they didn't send the x-rays. Boston told me that they were sent. I had to cancel my appointment. Now I'm still trying to have my x-rays sent. So far, no results. Boston says that they're sent. My new dentist says not so. I guess that I'll never be able to have my teeth cleaned. read more
