The food is consistently delicious. The family that runs it is very upbeat, welcoming and also inclusive to all of their customers. They play some great traditional music and even occasionally have different performances on weekends. My favorite are the tacos and fresh chips. My girlfriend loves their soups. P.S they do Drag Shows every two months , they bring queens from Miami, Vegas, Mexico etc! So cool, since the place is small you have to buy tickets in advance and reserve your seats. The kitchen will sell bar foods wings and fries, full bar open!! Love this, I definitely plan to check out soon! read more

Dining room was clean and decorated very nicely. Service was great. They were very nice and friendly and helpful with good suggestions of what to eat. We had flautas, chorizo &egg burrito and a couple of crunchy tacos. Everything was delicious. I wanted to try the crunchy tacos just to see what they were like. The filling was really tasty but I didn't like the taco shell. I would just order regular tacos next time because the filling was great. Very well thought out dining area with decor. Staff is welcoming and friendly. It is an order at the counter and seat yourself. Every food item comes plain and you pick your toppings and sauces at the counter once the food is prepared. Passing through Phoenix and trusting the yelp reviews led us to another great place. Darling inside, the food is terrific. The people are friendly and eager to serve. I had the green chicken quesadilla which was excellent but too saucy which made the quesadilla soggy. My own fault. Still really good. I also had the ceviche which was fresh and really good. Hubs had a couple of street tacos. They also served respado and other sweets we were too full to take advantage of. Happy we found this one. read more

Best of all the food is great. They have a great selection of tacos. Once you order it's similar to Subway where you get to name your toppings. We tried the: Quesa Birria - you get a lot of bang for your buck. I see other reviews commenting on flavor, but I have had a lot of quesa birria and these meet my standards and some! El Pastor - Great flavor, but not shaved from. Sprocket which is always my preference. They don't have pineapple garnish which I think would add some greatness. Green Chili Chicken - well cooked. I ordered birria ramen for my husband, my son had the green Chile chicken plate and I had several tacos. My husband said it was decent but not like our usual spot. My son did like the green Chile chicken they forgot to give him his corn tortillas on the side so he was a little bummed. I had the carne asada, green chili chicken, red chile, lengua, and birria tacos. The one I liked the most out of them was the carne asada. They all were decent but to me and my family all said it needed salt. Which I actually prefer less salt than more salt because you can always add to your liking so to me it wasn't a big deal. We also ordered the corn en vaso, it was just ok. Maybe it was us being our first time there it was unexpected to be called up and asked what toppings we would like... so I just kept it basic because I knew other people were waiting and I didn't want to hold it all up over toppings. Next time I'll check out the toppings before I order so I'm prepared. I would say the prices are decent, atmosphere is chill yet nice. I'd give it another go for sure. read more

After they cook ur tacos you go back up to the counter and they ass the toppings you want...kinda like a chipotle...! The birria was just ok. I've had better. The day we went it was very loud! lol they had a dj i guess. But we did sit pretty close to the speakers...not by choice. There was no where else to sit for a family of 4! This place is fairly close to my job, so I frequent it about once a week for lunch! They have a Carne Asada bowl that I especially love. You can get rice and beans and then top it like a chipotle bowl down the row of veggies and toppings that you like. The older lady that works the condiment station is super sweet and always has a smile on her face. I have never had a bad experience here, and me, nor any of the people I've ever been here with have ever gotten sick. And we have even ordered shrimp and ceviche. read more

We are on our way to Goodyear from the East Valley and came across this through reviews on yelp! It was an absolute lovely experience. From the time you walk in, to the top notch customer service. It's kind a like a Mexican food subway the way you order it you place the order at the register and then they give you a number and call your name and you go through the assembly line and add the additional toppings to your meal! We shared a green chili plate and a red chili plate. Both were packed full of flavor! The mini corn tortillas that are served with the plates are absolutely delicious warm and authentic. The beans were more like a Charro style and the flavor was on point and the way I love my beans! Truly authentic. I'm not really a Spanish rice kind of gal, they do put the peas and carrots and it was cooked to perfection and flavorful. My margarita was served on the rocks I could tell they put orange juice in it and it was absolutely delicious! This is a seriously cool little spot! Their decor is basically "What if Dios de los Muertos was a restaurant?", which might sound weird but is actually really fun. We tried a few of their tacos- cabeza, lengua, tripas, chicharrones, y birria. They were really tasty! They're wetter than some other places, which will get your fingers pretty goopy, but they're friggin' delicious and as good as any other local taco spots. They have a pretty basic selection of the standard Mexican beers- Tecate, Corona, Bud Light (jajaja), Modelo, and Pacifico, as well as a full bar and a nice looking happy hour. Now, here's what I want to see. There are a *LOT* of houses being built up in the surrounding area, and I'd like to see this spot become the "neighborhood bar"... with one caveat. My boojie ass thinks it would be really cool if they carried some craft Mexican beers!! There are some really cool things going on in the world of chela in Mexico, and this place could really set themself up to be the go-to for hipsters and foodies moving to the area from other states. It would be awesome to be able to just walk over here for some Tosti-elote and a few interesting beers. You choose the base (nachos, fries, tacos, etc.) then the meats (all very juicy and flavorful) then any other toppings (salsas, hot sauces, cheeses, vegetables etc). If you want something quick and easy this is a great place to go! They also have horchata, and mexican pops and other desserts as well. Fantastic bang for your buck its cheap and you get a mountain of food if you order the fries or the nachos. read more
