Finally had my first visit and I was so excited! I was greeted very warmly and got some tea while I waited for my friends. I was the only one there for a bit. I knew I wanted the sojouk pide, as I've seen it but never tried it. It was so unique in flavors I don't think I've experienced before and I absolutely loved it. I only ate about half and it tasted great leftover, too. (It is NOT like pizza!) My friends both had the lentil soup and grape leaves and enjoyed both dishes. I've tried grape leaves before and don't care for them, but my friend convinced me to try it - and it was the best I've ever tried! The leaf wasn't tough and there was a nice wrapper to filling ratio. I knew I had to get the knafeh, again a dish I've seen on tv but never had. I was doing the Food Dance! (The owner 'caught' me and we had a good laugh!) My friend had the milky baklava and enjoyed that. I regret not trying a bite. I can't wait to go back. Some of the nicest staff I've ever encountered - welcoming, warm, friendly and happy to explain anything to someone new to the cuisine!

Service was fast and friendly, more than happy to answer any questions about the menu. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there were only a few other patrons inside. Turkish coffee was exquisite friendly reminder not to drink it to the bottom bits. My beef doner sandwich was sensational the bread was pillowy soft and firm on the bottom. If I lived closer I'd be here probably once a week.

This was truly an authentic Turkish dining experience, and Ayasofya is a hidden gem when it comes to food. The atmosphere is simple, and clean. The service is attentive, communicative. Food was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend the Ayasofya Kebab I swear by it! It's easily one of the best I've had in this restaurant. It comes with frise and yogurts sauce. For dessert , Their chocolate baklava is phenomenal!! It is a must try! The Iskender Kebab is another highly recommend as well. The combination of meat, rice, yogurt, tomato sauce, and bread is simply perfect. The portions are generous, making it a great value for the price. On the other hand, I wasn't a big fan of the stuffed grape leaves as they lacked flavor and sauce, and they came out dry. I preferred the stuffed cabbage more. A small suggestion for the chef: Adding olive oil and lemon or tomato sauce to the stuffed grape leaves would really enhance their flavor. The kunafa was just okay it came soaking in syrup. I'd recommend serving the syrup on the side so customers can adjust the sweetness to their liking. A couple of recommendations for improvement: Adding more plants to the décor would enhance the ambiance, and keeping sick children away from the dining area would help maintain a more professional environment. Overall, Ayasofya is a true hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Turkish food. I been there twice and I'll definitely be coming back again to try more dishes!

My very first visit and it was worth it. Resturant was nice and clean and very tidy. Help was available soon as you came to the door even though I didn't know what the names were. I took pictures and asked because I said I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm sure it's gonna be good. The man that took my order was very patient and helpful. I took everything to go and everything was good especially the Manti. I will be back again, especially for this dish. Thank you for the great service and great food!

I'm thinking this was my first time eating in an actual Turkish restaurant. I loved that the waitress kept my tea cup filled with tradition Turkish tea. The food was delicious! There are some vegan options; just talk it through with the waitress. The eggplant salad, shepherd salad, stuffed cabbage leaves are some safe options. Everything was delicious.

I've been here three times in one week! This place is THAT GOOD! Here's why: - Almost every dish is delicious, whether sweet or savory! You won't be disappointed no matter what you order. Everything is expertly made with passion, and all the meat is Halal! - The owner and staff are incredibly kind and attentive--they truly know how to take care of their customers. - The prices are reasonable--you can enjoy a filling meal for two for around $40. - The portion sizes are just right for the price. - The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, though it could use more color and decorative touches. Since the place is still new, I'm sure it will improve over time. Overall: The restaurant doesn't have a big sign yet, so it might be easy to miss--but don't! Step inside and enjoy some incredible, flavorful food without hesitation!

Delicious manti (even a vegan option!), pide, baklava, and more. Our tea cups were never empty - you will feel like family dining here. We also had the stuffed cabbage rolls (luxurious texture - almost creamy exterior), and very good hand rolled dolma. We sampled all of the baklava - everything was hand made. I am curious about the pizzas - many options are available - so if you are seeking familiar fair, you will have options.

The meal was below average. I have had much better similar foods in the area. The brightside was the grape leaves.

We had the "house tray" intended for 2 or 3. I found the portions of beef and chicken shawarma to be on the small side. The kafta, on the other hand was quite generous. Rice portion was very generous in size. Flavors were very good and very authentic. Service was much slower than expected. The restaurant was not busy, yet we waited for food. A drink order was missed and check-ins by our server were very infrequent. We happened to choose the restaurant because they were having an advertised e-mail holiday special giving 15% off of the house tray. The server was unable to process this discount as her Mgr was not in. Our server did comp our cocktails which was above the price of the discount (for both the missed drink order as well as the discount issue). The issue of not being able to process an advertised discount was experienced by our daughter a few weeks ago. Very disconcerting trend. Ambiance was nice except overall room temp was very (nearing uncomfortable) warm. Rugs in the divan could stand to be cleaned. Overall, we will return. But this step downward has me very concerned.

The service was friendly and somewhat attentive. My friend, Darius, ordered the Chicken shish kebab and the pita was dry, cold and stale. They immediately returned with fresh, hot, moist bread. The wait for the initial order and drink refills was a bit longer. The dining area is large, yet cozy. The eatery has a very embracing, warm ambiance and it's a great gluten-free zone.
