At prime times of day, the line of cars can get long. But it moves. They set aside items that still have value, and you can pick them up for a buck or two donation. I got a nice beach umbrella , and I've picked through the book bin and gotten some good, new books ! But I do that only when it's not busy there.

This simply means that at the recycling center/transfer station you only pay for the items which you cannot recycle (at the current rate of $2 per 30 gallon bag). Additionally, the Township offers yard waste shredding and composting services for the residents, who are welcome to use the compost for their yard and garden projects.
