Wonderful food and service! The location is in a glamorized strip mall, and was initially hard to find (probably my problem because I am from CA and was just visiting). Once there though, the place is very classy with a tasteful and warm ambience (minus the bar-like flat panel tv blaring indian music videos). The food was phenomenal! Big fans of Indian food here and this place did not disappoint. Our one complaint is that the portions are not that big for the price of each dish, and we're talking $19-20. We got a lot of sauce with small pieces of chicken/ lamb. We placed our order through uber eats and everything was delivered promptly and fresh. The butter chicken was spectacular, the lamb dish was creamy and delicious and can't say enough about the tandoori chicken! The perfect amount of spice! And we love spicyness. And when I saw foreign exchange students from India shaking the owners hand and thanking him for a great meal - I knew it was going to be great. having lived in London and NYC, where good Indian food is abundant, I am a bit picky. I tried Ayesha recently. The service is very good, very nice people. It is a little pricey, or I would have sampled more dishes, but what I had was good. Not over the top fantastic, but quite good. One of my favorite things about Indian food is the condiments, and the onion chutney was really good, so was the green sauce, never sure what it is. The brown sweet sauce was missing. Good naan bread. I am still on the perfect Indian food quest in Miami though. My next try will be Darbar in Coconut Grove. I remember the day when getting an Indian in both London and NY meant spending very little money and getting a ton of food. Seems those days are over, or at least in Miami. read more

We live nearby and usually get takeout. Wonder how this great spot came to be located in a community that does not have a big indian population. I guess the diverse nationalities found here have more cosmopolitan tastes. Our few sampling so far have been great. It's nice to have an alternative to pizza or Chinese for a quick takeout dinner. The food was great - I've eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and this one hits the note with spice level and flavor profiles. What detracted from a full 5 stars was their inability to refill water or get checks in a timely manner. It wasn't just my table that was having this issue. Friday March 27 2015 My fiancé saw this place in a magazine (don't know which one) and we decided to try it. Exactly what the reviews say is exactly how it is. The food is delicious, the staff is extremely friendly, and the food takes forever to come out!! As an appetizer we had vegetable samosas, which the staff messed up a few times but they apologized and corrected the issue quickly. For dinner, I had the chicken korma and my lady had the chicken tikka masala. Both were very good The place is very small so i strongly recommend that you make reservations before you decide to drive out to the Key and potentially wait a while for a table. We got there at 8pm and from all the waiting for our food and then finally getting our food and practically throwing the check at the waiter to finally pay and leave, we left at 10pm. Also, i suggest you check to see if there are any events going on down in the tennis courts because the traffic to leave was crazy. This is a small restaurant located in a strip mall and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The signage is slightly obscured by two large palm trees so keep your eyes open looking for them, it's worth the effort. I am not a first-time Indian food person, so I knew what I was looking at and having sampled numerous Indian foods in the USA and Europe, this has to be one of my favorites. The food was delicious, very creamy and satisfying. All round a fantastic meal for my wife and I who were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Absolutely authentic Indian with great and newly conceived traditionals. The tomato soup was amazing and rich. The Korma was simply delicious and the service was impeccable. We asked for mild of everything and they accommodated appropriately which doesn't always happen. The location I shops if the stores are open for walking around in the mall with plenty of shopping. WOW! I am so excited that Ayesha came to the island!! Key Biscayne is an amazing place to live but it definitely is laking in culinary diversity. Ayesha just opened about 3 weeks ago, and after hearing rave reviews, I decided to try it tonight with my friend. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, so we decided to sit outdoors. The menu is the perfect size. Many times when I eat Indian food in Coral Gables, I am really overwhelmed by the menu . This menu has everything from Samosas to Biryani to Naan to Tandoor, but it is manageable for the novice Indian food eater. My friend and I started with the Vegetable Samosas. These were fantastic. Then we split the Navrattan Sahi korma, Shrimp with Apna Curry Sauce, and Onion Naan. We were worried that we ordered too much, but this turned out to be the perfect amount of food. The korma was fantastic-- lots of veggies like broccoli, peas, carrots, etc in a delicious sauce. The shrimp were also amazing. The dish came with 8 jumbo shrimp which was perfect for my friend and I. The sauce was spicy- but not too spicy. The onion naan was out of this world. Dipping it in the 2 different sauces was the best. The dishes also came with rice (a lot of Indian restaurants make you order rice, so this was a nice change). The service was perfect. Our waiter was able to give us knowledgeable advice on what to order. A nice touch was when the manager came out to ask us how we were doing. He told us that the next time he would let us try Indian wine (we were already drinking wine). I did not even know that existed! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ayesha. I love Indian food and Ayesha delivers great Indian. It's situated in a small mall in Key Biscayne with plenty of parking. The service was very good, however, I don't like when the waiters or owners think they should order for you because you are not Indian and because of this I deduct a star. The menu had my usual favorites like tandoori, tikka, raita, and samosas. Everything we had was delicious and the portions were generous. I wasn't in the best mood once I got there because I was looking for a cheap dinner with friends after going to a bar and I went there with my friend telling me most meals are $12. Not true. The price isn't too crazy. Most entrees with any meat are close to $20. I liked the atmosphere even though it feels a little cramped inside. The service was a little slow considering how few people were in the restaurant that night. The food was great, but the portions were a little small for my liking. I really wanted leftovers for lunch the next day, but no such luck. Overall a good experience, even though I didn't want to spend as much money as I did. read more

I've been on a quest to try more restaurants off the beach. Last week one of my best gf and I took a drive to Key Biscayne for a change. Ayesha was such a pleasant surprise. We arrived early in the evening and were immediately greeted warmly. The restaurant is somewhat small while very comfortable. There was a mellow, relaxed vibe which was exactly what were in search of. Gail started with Spinach Samosas and Garlic Naan. She loved the samosas and also enjoyed the naan though she said it was a bit too buttery. She was hoping to order Spinach Masala which isn't on the menu. Our server was more than happy to have the kitchen prepare her dish. Nice. I ordered Eggplant Bharta. Our meals arrived quickly and were delicious. Fresh and really flavorful. We ate way past the point of full because everything was fantastic! When I asked for boxes to wrap our extras, I was shocked and impressed that we were given fresh rice to bring home along with our leftover food! Great food and excellent service.
