DJ and Francisco were the dream team today! We had been putting off fixing a leak near our water meter, but we knew it was costing us money NOT to fix it. DJ was dispatched quickly and arrive within about an hour on a Saturday which was a lot faster than I was expecting. DJ assessed the situation pretty easily and gave us a few options to repair or replace. The job was complicated by the fact that we also needed to add a pressure regulator. After I checked around for a few prices, AYS came in first and best! DJ followed up with me and stayed in touch. Francisco explained everything clearly and answered all our questions while he worked. I called at 11:30 am and received an human contact who answered! She said the person was on a service call but can come over afterwards about 2:30 pm. Amazing- same day! I received a text message to confirmed. 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm no one came yet- I texted the thread and the service person texted that their first call is still in progress but that they will come see me and gave me a new estimated time. That was really nice that they still came to my place to take a look. Water leaked from hot water tank in garage. They texted when they were on the way. When they arrived, they took a look, shut off the water to the house; drained the tank; removed the tank; and showed me all the parts that were damaged-- corroded-- water logged-- you name it. They provided an estimate- or their person at the office sent me an email. I agreed to the price and install and payment. I signed the documents on docu- sign. They left for the night and said they will return the next day with a new tank and install. The process proceeded flawlessly. Communication with grandmother went well- I had to go work the next day. She had to handle the AYS guys. She reported "nice young handsome men put in the hot water tank." Cost within range of Home Depot estimates and Lowe's. I got an estimate for a leaking faucet from AYS. The technician told me that the valve needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate of $4000 to replace. That seemed unreasonable so I got a second opinion from another licensed plumbing company, That company examined the job, stated that the valve did not need to be replaced, and performed the repair in about one hour for $445. Thank you to Jesse and Mike from AYS Plumbing! I just got my kitchen sink pipes pressure jetted. Couple of days ago my kitchen sink started to get clogged. Contacted a plumber to come check it out, decided to go ahead and snaked the pipes to clean out the blockages. Long story short after almost 4 hours of trying to fix the issue, the other plumber couldn't get the job done and had to refer me to another plumbing company. Contacted the other company and not able to come in the next 4 days. I was not about to have an unusable kitchen sink for the next 4 days. A good friend of mine referred Mike from AYS plumbing and within 30 mins we were able to set up a visit for the next day. Jesse was the technician that showed up. Very professional and informative with keeping me aware of what he's doing and explaining to me everything. Jesse went above and beyond to repair my broken Takagi tankless water heater at a very reasonable price. He came out three different times due to not so efficient manufacturer support who decided to piece mealing different parts after one failed another, and they shipped us the wrong part that cost an extra trip. Jesse was patience and empathetic, and never complained about making time to show up until the heater is fixed. 3rd times was the charm and Jesse figured it out with the one of the better support tech. Our house has hot water again all because of Jesse's professionalism and his willingness/kindness to go out of his way to get to the bottom of the issue.
