But for the low price of 20K but they could cut us a deal and do it for 17k..he could have us back up and running.. pass,,, We called a friend who actually did some diagnosis and come to find out the evaporator was NOT clogged and the bearings were fine. Plus the air filter was dirty and all it was to blame was a contactor relay in the AC condenser which only cost us $30 plus a from Amazon. plus a new Filter for about $20 and we were up and running. I get business is slow but but to deliberately make a false claim it is shameful.

They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. By Tuesday, José, Jessie, and Brad arrived around 9:00 a.m. to install our new 3-ton high-efficiency heat pump system. The next day Sam followed up with me and gave me a quote for a water heater install and said he'd be there within 2 hours when I was ready. I told him I needed to discuss with my wife. During this time, I called another local company for a quote and they quoted me about 800$ more for the same exact branded/sized water heater, installation hoses/connection, etc. their warranty was also one year less than AAA was providing. I then called another plumbing company and their quote was even more astronomical than the second company. So I called Sam back after agreeing with my wife that we would proceed with him. He stated he had a new customer in the 1 hour we'd last spoken, but not to worry because he'd still be there same day just later in the afternoon. He provided a time frame and text when he was 30 min out. He arrived and got the water heater swapped out in 2 hours as he said over the phone. We went from having a leaking water heater to a brand new one. It's all up to code and we feel very confident in Sam's work. Additionally, Sam was a very courteous and polite guy. He explained everything and answered every question we had. He never seemed rushed or tried to upsell us anything. His customer service was outstanding.

This is a sincere review. I am a property manager and had a FANTASTIC experience hiring Jay Indeck and his crew. They were prompt, very polite and unusually thorough in investigating what damages a tenant had left after moving out. They safeguarded the property by taking a number of precautions prior to turning on the water to make sure the pipes were not damaged or leaking because there had been vandalism. Jay even took time to troubleshoot sprinkler problems though he did not try to get the work. And he found other issues that I had missed such as my pressure regulator not working, but he didn't pressure me to get the work and in fact waited until I was writing the check to tell me about it. The price Jay charged was very competitive, too! I wholeheartedly recommend Jay for anyone's plumbing needs. I will definitely call Jay again for future work. read more

I'm so relieved that I used Jay for an issue I had with my gas line. When I contacted him, he was very responsive to my email, gave me an estimate right away and fixed my issue for a very reasonable price. I was extremely scared of reaching out to a plumber for fear of being taken advantage of and Jay quickly alleviated my fears. I recently had a water leak from my main water supply regulator supply. I have used Jay Indeck service before to repipe another property and his crew did an incredible job. His main guy is Tony who was very professional and actually did the fix in under an hour. I was charged the minimum of what I was quoted. Their work quality with repairs at my home have stood the test of time, and so today, this was the 8th time I've needed their services. My issue was a pinhole leak behind a laundry room wall with the original old and thin copper pipe installed many decades ago. What a mess. I called Steve at Ray May Plumbing and as usual, he handled the call with a sense of priority but very respectful of my scheduling. He's a gentleman. I was fortunate that someone was available to respond within the hour - that someone was Armando, who was great to work with. I cannot highlight that part enough. So after our cold snap in Febuary of 2026, our heater/AC unit wasn't working, when the technician…read morecame out, he immediately said the entire unit was bad due to the unit being too old, he claimed the evaporator was clogged, the blower motor squirrel cage bearings were bad and the Air filter was the wrong size, all with out a borescope or any kind of diagnosis. But for the low price of 20K but they could cut us a deal and do it for 17k..he could have us back up and running.. pass,,, We called a friend who actually did some diagnosis and come to find out the evaporator was NOT clogged and the bearings were fine. Plus the air filter was dirty and all it was to blame was a contactor relay in the AC condenser which only cost us $30 plus a from Amazon. plus a new Filter for about $20 and we were up and running. I get business is slow but but to deliberately make a false claim it is shameful.
