Such a cute shop with amazing drinks!! While there for a tournament we visited this place twice. I ordered the iced flan drink both visits, my husband liked the creme brulee hot. Both daughters loved their drinks too. The oldest ordered the same as her dad and the youngest tried two different matcha drinks and enjoyed both. The place isn't big but it fills up. Lots of seating and tons of parking. I would highly recommend this shop!!

This is the best Coffee shop in West Valley! It's still west valley, so there aren't a ton to choose from, but it's still great. I really enjoy the combination of food options, fun seasonal drink choices, and the atmosphere. I often work from coffee shops, and I don't mind this shop for working, but I wouldn't rely on it heavily, as mid day the shop gets quite a few people visiting for the food menu. All the food looked fantastic, I had a concha, and a cup of coffee. Both were great, but next time I definitely want to try some of the other menu items. I would definitely check this place out, or their new location in the post district. Both give a great drink and a welcoming place to enjoy it.

Coffee! Came here for a coffee date to catch up with a friend! I got the Azucar cappuccino and my friend got the mango sticky rice matcha. The cappuccino was rich and bold while the mango sticky rice matcha was light and full of flavor. This place is so busy! Or maybe the times I've gone has been so busy. There's always a line to order and typically you have to wait for seating to be open. I wish that it was bigger with more seating. But overall I'd come here when in the area!

Great Staff, Tasty Coffee ~ It's a little loud inside but I'm old(?). If I lived in town this would be a standard stop.

Yeah this is absolutely my favorite coffee shop in Utah. Azúcar has everything, from quality coffee and tea drinks, to a bomb brunch menu, to enough seating with ample plugs for working and studying, to just... vibes. I have had their lattes and matcha several times, but this visit for a friend's birthday was the first time trying food. Their chilaquiles were legit. Their espresso is QUALITY and the taste permeates just so through every sweetened latte. Perfectly balanced. Service is always kind and helpful with customizations or questions about their drink menu.

Azúcar is probably one of my fav coffee shops in West Valley City. Last time I came here, I had the Ganzito iced latte with a snack cake on top; and an avocado toast--both were so good and hit the spot. The staff at front counter was kind enough to go over the different types of drinks with me, because some were unfamiliar. She was very helpful. The place is super cute. It's small, but I was lucky to find my own table even though it was packed. Customers were coming in and out nonstop. There's ample parking in the lot, too. I like that they have seasonal drinks and rotate them often. Sounds creative and yummy. They also have superfood lattes that I really want to check out next time I'm in the area.

I love the variety of drinks here! We got the pistachio mocha and the banana pudding matcha, both were delicious. There's a super minimal food menu, but the avocado toast and chilaquiles verdes were both really good as well. It's a solid spot to grab a quick breakfast. Concha was a little stale, but the rest of what we ordered was good enough to make up for it. They also have WiFi and outlets in the seating area, so you could definitely work here! All the staff was kind.

When I tell you that I will dream of this banana pudding matcha for years to come, I promise, it is no exaggeration.

I've been coming here for ever. This is absolutely my favorite coffee shop possibly ever. For sure in Utah. The drinks are always so delicious. I don't have to worry about taste. Tons of fun options on top of the classics. Try the Utah latte! Or my "secret drink" half cafe de olla and half chocolate abuelita.

Service is always great! I live close by so I stop by as often as possible. This coffee shop is so tasty and they always have new drinks on the menu. Today I got the chilaquiles and the Dubai pistachio mocha latte. This is my new favorite drink and I hope they always keep it around!

Very chill spot, and they offer many interesting drinks. Mango sticky rice Matcha was different than what I was expecting, but it's really good! Everyone was so friendly there and super patient with me when I was order! Would definitely be back!

I popped in here on my way to a meeting mid morning on a Monday. The place was busy with people inside and out. There are chairs and booths lining both sides of the shop. There are tons of bakery, coffee and tea options to choose from. I was greeted by a friendly barista who helped me decide if I wanted to try one of the seasonal lattes. I opted to go with an iced lavender oat latte . It took about 5 minutes to prepare and it was perfect!

The aesthetics were a 10/10 super well decorated and you can tell the owners put a lot of attention to detail. In terms of the banana matcha itself it wasn't my favorite. It didn't really taste like real matcha.

I found myself here for a weeknight date at one of their special events. This one was a pie and roll tasting class for Thanksgiving. We got to try a variety of pies (pumpkin, raspberry, banana, chocolate and coconut) as well as a dinner roll and an orange roll. Everything was absolutely delicious. As if that wasn't enough, the class also came with a meal. Everyone received either a half sandwich or half salad. All for $15! Service was great-Leah led the group and was super welcoming and engaging. The folks behind the counter were friendly and got our food out quickly. The Coffee and Drinks are prepared and presented in a very Professional Manner with Excellent Taste, not too sweet and not too acidic. What a Wonderful Experience. The Food was Prepared, Presented and Served with Excellent Care and Professional Quality and Care. I had the Breakfast Burrito ($9.00) and is was quite large, very well prepared and presented, and was very filling. Good quality and quantity for the price. My Breakfast Partner had the AvocadoToast with Veggies and Egg. ($8.00). It too was Prepared, Presented and Served with the same Professional Care and Presentation that I had with my order. Malu Ixel is definitely worth the time, travel, price and consideration. Again a Local Business Coffee Shop that deserves the business and support. They have been in business here in Magna for one year and are definitely a great choice and hit.

The two women who own it and run it were so nice, friendly and very attentive. The inside is super cute! There is plenty of seating, and a clean bathroom. There is water and cups available in a water dispenser. They also have some beautiful, intricately beaded jewelry on display for sell. The menu is inspired with items from Guatemala and Mexico. And they add new items regularly. We tried the strawberry crepe (so many fresh strawberries, mouth-wateringly delicious), the breakfast burrito with a side of yummy green sauce and chips), the carinito latte (cinnamon, caramel and vanilla. So much cinnamon... it was truly heavenly), a matcha, and a peanut butter cocoa. They brought it to out table and cleaned it up. (Not an actual sit down and server style.) They used fancy looking silverware and everything had a lovely presentation that made me feel special. We will definitely come back!! We want to try everything!!! Looking forward to the Chilaquiles, Pacheco, quesadilla, and various unique coffees. Come give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!! (The area may be a little off to the side and out if the way. But you must give it a try!) I really want them to do well, and I hope they are successful.
