The inside has a coffee shop like vibe with comfortable seating along the edges, and lots of decorations on walls. It was also phenomenally clean. I ordered the number one. The drink itself was super good. I've never had crème brûlée in a drink before. However, I found myself thinking " I wish there wasn't boba in it". The boba places I usually frequent make fresh boba throughout the day. Compared to that, this boba was subpar. Newish spot that has opened up in West Valley! What I like about this place is that the menu isn't too overwhelming and they really hone onto few flavors and selections that are winners. It's a very clean and open space with ample parking in the plaza. I got the Smatcha and my brother got the Grape Kiwi. Both were aesthetically pleasing and tasted great! I like their take on using crystal boba jellies which is a nice change up from regular boba. Also, got their seasonal Mochi Grinch Waffle! Simple, but hits the spot. It's very good and refreshing, probably would like the option for adjustment to lighten up the sweetness. 3/5 value It's not a cheap drink and this particular drink is very expensive and the price is left of the pictures. That's great news, as Ding Tea west valley has always been the best location. Their menu offers a wide variety of classic and unique boba tea flavors. If you're a fan of kawaii/cute squishy plushies, BG offers a shelf full of "OMG! I want them all" stuffed animals. From my understanding the staff rotates the plushie varieties and so once they are sold out they may not be available again. For this visit, the shop offered "piggies in costume while drinking boba tea" collection. Brûlée Thai Tea: The cup is lined with a creamy creme brûlée style smear. This is tasty but I'm not a fan of the the separated chunks when you take a sip. The Thai tea flavor is on point but I would recommend trying to re-work the recipe for the creme brûlée smear. My guess this is a cream cheese base that wasn't mixed very well. The tapioca pearls themselves are chewy and have nice bite. Signature Fruit Tea: I like container for this drink. The large square shaped beverage uniquely shows all the layers of fruit and tea in a cup. The tea is well brewed and the fruit is refreshing. Overall, I would return to this shop if I was in the area but I most likely wouldn't go out of my way to this location if I had a huge boba tea craving. Would you go? Let me know. Their fruit teas, milk teas, and yogurt drinks are much better consistency than the old Ding Tea that was here. The tea strength is stronger. The yogurt drinks are better and brown boba has great texture. Drinks are pricier than Ding Tea and a bit overpriced but overall quality is above average. I would not order their waffle/waffle and dip again though. I am used to paying $8 for a HUGE bubble waffle (twice the size of what they give you here) with fancy sea salt cream dip elsewhere. The smallish waffle and plain condense milk here was nothing special and I can't justify or recommend paying $7.55 for them. Their Vietnamese coffee options were also overpriced and unimpressive. All in all, I would return for the yogurts and teas if the quality is maintained. read more

I love boba and I love trying new spots. Boba Guru was previously Ding Tea so I'm not sure if this would be considered new for me. Their interior did not change but there is now extra cute boba related items for sale such as slippers and shirts. I have been here twice since the name change and both times, my drinks have tasted very similar to the previously owned Ding Tea, which for me, is a great thing because I loved the drinks that the West Valley Ding Tea offered. I've literally been at this place four times this week bc we not only love their service but we love their Boba drinks as well. So addicting. And you can also put your phone number in to receive points everytime you order. Their service is very welcoming. Very patient,kind,helpful when you ask questions about any of their drinks they serve & their very quick on making your drinks even when you order more than three. The product I will have to rate a 10 out of 10. I give the business a 1 star because when you request extra brûlée they usually don't put extra or they only put half of a scoop. It's not fair that you make the customer pay extra when in reality you are not providing the extra ingredient.
