I've been here a couple times. It's nice to have a local coffee shop in Magna area. Some of the specialty drinks are too sweet for me. I prefer the mocha or Chai. The blended drinks can be icy (as in texture wise), which isn't really my thing. However, I do appreciate the food selection. They have vegetarian options and sweets. This is THE place for coffee and a bite in the morning! We visited some friends in Magna and came here several mornings. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold drinks and they have a good selection of breakfast foods as well. The cost is very reasonable! Much less than in Houston. Always a hit or miss. Mostly a miss which sucks because I love their coffee! Just not enough to wait 20-30mins for an ICED COFFEE when I'm the only customer in line both inside and out. As of lately, my coffee has been super inconsistent and asking them to remake it seems like it's the biggest chore for them and takes another 20-30mins. I've ordered inside a few times to watch them make it and I still don't understand why it takes that long for 2 employees to work on one short iced coffee... because that's what's happening. 2 of the employees working in one coffee... please make it make sense. Either their current staffing needs better training or they need more/better employees. I really hope they figure it out! read more

I have to say first that I love the coffee at Brew Monkey and that most of the employees are nice and help in a timely manner but..... if I arrive to the drive thru close to 6:30 and the drive thru person isn't there no one will come to the window and take my order. The employees walk by and never look at you and leave you there waiting . I realized after this happened about 3x that the employee was late and they were making me wait there until she arrived to work. I mean WTH kind of service is that? Also when the owner comes to the window to take my order she acts so put out and acts like it a chore to help me . Only real coffee shop in Magna. Really yummy coffee specialty drinks, every month they change. Not just plain old mochas and vanilla lattes here. You will find exciting drinks! This month they happen to be candy bars. Reese's, take 5, snickers... Hellooo what's not to love? One thing that I can really suggest is that they actually put a menu sign at there drive thru! It would be nice and more convenient to see the menu while you wait rather than after you pull up to the window and ask for it... Or magically know what you want. Employees are nice enough. This is the only coffee shop in Magna, it's very slow even if you only order 1 drink it takes 10-15 minutes to get out to you. The staff doesn't seem to have any knowledge of coffee. They also don't carry soy milk which seems odd to me personally. And the food is very low quality products all the cheese seems fake and doesn't melt properly. I hope they open a Dutch or even a Starbucks anything is better than what I've received here in the last 3 years. Brew Monkey in Magna had the perfect cup with my name on it first thing this morning and is it good! A more perfect brew could not be had at double the price. There's a subway in the same lot which was where I was going to originally go. It's what I know and trust. But coffee. Man, oh man did I need coffee. So there was brew money. Everyone was so nice and attentive. I got the roast beef sandwich and half of it filled me up. I ended up giving my soup away to a coworker who really liked it too. My sandwich tasted so good though! I also got the monkey jumble and I was real happy with it. It tasted sweet but not overly sweet which was my main concern. They have a lot of pastry goods for you to pick from and also are open to making you a custom sandwich. They also have wraps and salads for you to pick. Don't feel like getting out of your car? I've been going here for years since I've been a Magna resident today I called ask them what's soups they still have available because they run out pretty fast. they gave me three options of what they had available . Mind you I call in advance because the drive-thru window takes like 30 minutes every time. I call in advance and wait for the drive-up window for 20 minutes and then come to the window and tell me they don't have the soup that I ordered... they ran out. Have they had told me that I wouldn't have ordered today. they have horrible service at their drive-up window it's a shame because the owner is very sweet. sucks that they have a staff that's incapable of taking a phone order and the drive-up window timing has always been the worst. Like your telling me from the time you opened until 11:15 you haven't made enough money to break a $100. Especially when my order was plenty big that the change wouldn't have been so bad.
