He tore it apart and one of the wheels fell off. One of the reasons it wasn't working. He went out and got the part, came back, assembled the robo vac again and it's working fine. He also checked my water and showed me how to operate the timer and emptied out my filter basket. All of this for an extremely reasonable price. I'll be sure to call him again for my pool needs.

They're Okay. There are pros and cons for me. I was charged $120 per month, which covers weekly…read moreservice. Most of the time, they were in and out of my backyard in under 10 mins, putting chemicals in and emptying skimmer basket and then leaving. Rarely, they'd skim the pool surface or use my pool scrub brush. I pay attention to my pool tools ans notice when they are moved, and also have cameras in my backyard.. The day they come for service was also not consistent. A couple times weeks were skipped if there was a holiday. It would have been nice if they came the day after or day before said holiday so that I'm getting my money's worth, on a month by month basis. On the plus side, they brought it their own pool robot to help with dirt collecting in pool until I was able to buy my own. They also answered some of my pool questions which was great as a first time pool owner. they even took the initiative and set up my pool vacuum when I left out the new box in my patio, which I appreciated. So, like I mentioned in the beginning of post, this review is mixed, hence the 3 stars.

Our daughter who is an architect, drew up a design for us and Sal's designer perfected our vision. Sal was always willing to give to give us his professional suggestions in areas we were not sure about. Everything from beginning to end went very smooth. His crew was very professional, efficient and always communicated with us. Sal's crew also landscaped our backyard with concrete designs and artificial turf. The landscaping turned out great and we have no complaints about with the work Backyard Pools did.
