They moved a friend of mine & literally took her couch from her! When moving in, they decided there was no way to get her couch with an attached chase through any doors here, when in fact the chase is attached by a simple metal clip. If they were true, honest, caring movers, they would have removed the chase from the couch via one little simple metal clip, so they could've moved it through the door without any problem! Instead, they decided to take advantage of her with a $100.00 discount off her moving bill, getting away with stealing her $900 dollar couch right out from under her, not to mention, they had the nerve to ask if they could take her throw decorative pillows with the couch!!! Talk about being deceitful on top of "taking advantage of people"! I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! If I could give a negative 5-stars on this cite, I would have! Paul and his team did a great job moving me in Chandler area. After canceling on him twice, i finally got my stuff together and booked a third appt and everything went smoothly. I received a text the guys would be at my place in 30-45 min as they were finishing up with their first assignment. They were efficient and professional, got everything loaded up and we were off. TERRIBLE experience, they ripped MY mattress that was worth about 450 and that I only had for 6 months and said it was my fault. Paul's guys said they would take pictures and send them to Paul and that he would take care of it for us, when I talked to Paul, he had the audacity to tell me that there were nails in my walls that caused this when 1. It was a brand new house with no nails in the walls or anything and 2. My apartment did not have any nails either. I paid for insurance through them and still he did not take care of it. Talk about a big scam. Make sure you avoid this company at all costs. Not only and they unprofessional but also dishonest. very surprised by some of the negative reviews. some people you just can't please. they arrived on time. very friendly. loaded my 2 bedroom apartment in less then 2 hours. we did have a little help from some local missionaries . but still watching them fit everything into the truck was almost magical. I would very highly recommend. they did not ask for payment until they were finished. actually they never asked I paid them and gave them a generous tip because they deserved it. they never hit me up for tip. really great experience . read more

We have had AZ On Time move us before but this past month, was not a good experience after all was done! Seems our 8x10 rug for our dining room has disappeared! I have made a couple of phone calls and conversations with Paul, the owner but he says they don't have it. Strange how it went from our floor in the dining room to the truck but never got into our new home? My request was for minimal payment ($200) to help with the new replacement but he says for me "to do what I need to do" and will not admit someone took the rug! So now must file claim in Small Claims Court of AZ my legal fees and do what I need to do! Sad how such a simple mistake will now cost me time and eventually him reputation and a few dollars! read more

The owner of this business came to our house 3-4 weeks prior to our desired move and agreed on a price, date and time with my husband. We wanted to move 5 days prior to the closing of our home. The day before the move, calls and texts were left unanswered and no one showed up on moving day. This was extremely stressful! My mom needed help moving into her new apartment. Travis and Curtis called 15 minutes before they left and showed up right on time to the storage facility. They took great care moving my mom's belonging both from the storage unit and into the apartment. They were friendly, well dressed and professional. I had contacted this company for a quote, but needed to wait to finalize things since I wasn't sure which day we were closing on our house. In the meantime, when I had mentioned to a friend that we would be hiring movers to help us load our truck, they offered to assist us and we accepted to save some money. I let the company know as soon as possible (I initially contacted them on 8/4 and notified them the morning of 8/6, which was 5 days ahead of time) so they could book another client for that time slot. The guy later texted me and said "o I forgot please lose our number would be best". I was confused by that, so I texted back and said "Meant for someone else???' to which he replied "no, we could have had a big 10 hour job, but we were holding that Tuesday morning for u til u decided...but now we lost that job too...thanks a million...and please no need to text back" I was so shocked by that response because I thought I was doing the right thing by notifying him well in advance and at no time was I rude to him, but he was obviously very frustrated with me. I followed up with a text saying that I was sorry that he lost the other job, but I wasn't sure why he was angry with me since I had done nothing wrong. They wrapped my furniture to protect them any inadvertent ding during the move, packed all the small items laying around into boxes, and finished my move in less than 2 hours. When I called them up , the earliest they could do was 8 am but on the day of the move , they accommodated my schedule and arrived earlier by 7:15 so I could get to work on time. Just one suggestion for them is to let customers know ahead that they need to pay only by cash. It caught me by surprise on the day of the move , but I had ATM nearby , so it was fine. read more

I screwed up really bad. I had the task of scheduling movers for my upcoming move, and I waited till the last minute. I called almost every company I could find on Yelp (well, more like 5) and almost every single company said they cannot help me move in the next couple days. Enter AZ On Time! The person on the phone, who I regret I forgot his name, was very nice and understanding of my situation. He set up my appointment right away and he also let me know the special that could apply to my move. We have the verbal agreements that everything would be okay on that Sunday! Now enter Lance and Travis. These guys were really helpful, they were able to start assessing the situation right away. They had all the tools necessary and there was no complaints about the complexity of my move, it turns out that my couch was assembled in such a way that it could not be taken apart. This was a La-Z-Boy couch with electric recline, so you know it weighed about a ton and a half. I also had a pretty complex headboard and footboard wooden frame queen size bed with boxspring and mattress which they were able to disassemble and reassemble perfectly. I could not have imagined possibly taking care of these items myself and I was very grateful that they knew exactly what they were doing. Despite the couch fiasco, which ate up a bit of time and got me worried about the three-hour window, Travis and Lance were able to complete the move (pun intended) On Time. Since the move out my previous location has not indicated any additional damages, and the new place looks just like I moved in (except with all my stuff in it). These gentlemen know exactly what they're doing and I welcome them back to move next time I may need to (I promise to get rid of that couch before than!) AZ not on time moving should be the name. They ripped my mattress and claimed it was me.

Let me explain to you why you do not want to have this company move you nor anyone you know. Our move took place on January 28th. We planned and paid for three men and a truck to move us and unpack our items. Near the end of our move the lead guy asked me if they could return the next day to unpack our items because they had another job. Mind you the owner, Paul told me our job would take between 7-9 hours for the move. This was almost 6 hours into the move. So the time was not yet met. I of course said no. Finish this job first! I have a glass jewelry box that was not packed by me but that was completely packed by a temporary workers of this company who told me he usually works with major van lines. Let's just say when it arrived the glass was cracked under the knobs in the front. I noticed it right away and showed it to the lead worker and contacted Paul, the owner. Paul said show the lead worker who told me that Pail would replace or repair whatever they broke. The lead worker said Paul would come out tomorrow to take a look at my jewelry box. We paid him with the expectation he would keep his word. He never showed up! A week later I sent photos of my jewelry box and asked did he receive the photos. I show a read receipt from Paul on the same day but NO response! About five days later I texted when can we expect to hear from you. He said he was out of town and would contact me on this past Monday. Today is Friday and nothing! He is not trustworthy and unreliable. He seems to say whatever to get you off his back. If you have anything of value, use a more reputable company with guaranteed insurance coverage. I asked this upfront as well and was told, don't worry we will take care of you. You can't treat people this way as this was a gift to me and now it's cracked. Do not waste your time. The workers were good but unfortunately they work for him. Horrible customer service and he told me he would provide me payment for a $20 for $40 voucher that I purchased for his services. Of course that didn't happen either! read more

Paul and Travis are crooks!!! THEY STOLE FROM ME!!!!! I literally had 8 boxes, 2 Rubbermaid totes, 1 flat screen, and 1 LARGE Z GALLERIE HANGING MIRROR. Travis moved my stuff quick and efficiently (there obviously really wasn't much to move) EXCEPT for my large hanging mirror that he decided to leave on the truck SINCE HE SUPPOSEDLY BROKE IT!! Travis seemed trustworthy so I didn't bother looking in the truck to make sure they didn't forget anything. After they moved me (which was at 9pm), I left the same time as them to go back to my old place to pick up my dog. Once I made it back home and realized my mirror was missing it was already passed 10pm... since it was late I waited till the morning to contact them. I assumed they just forgot it on the truck since they had it all wrapped up in blankets (so I'm unsure how they could have broken it). Paul was impossible to contact over the phone and very rude and unhelpful through text. He gave me the run around for DAYS. Him and I went back and forth for a bit and he finally tells me the NEXT DAY "his workers said my mirror is broken". Travis was very short and unhelpful when I asked about my mirror the following day. When I asked for a photo of the "broken mirror" no one could provide it for me which leads me to believe they just stole it!!! PAUL SAID HE WOULD COMPENSATE ME FOR MY MIRROR OR FIX IT BUT THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. THIEVES. I even tipped Travis and the other guy who moved me $50 and couldn't even get a text back about my d@mn mirror!!! read more

I didn't have an awful lot to move, but was very grateful to have these two guys to move my stuff here in the middle of summer. Men showed up an hour early and were upset I wasn't ready for them. When I asked questions about the best way to load the items, I got attitude and impatience. I asked them to help move a few boxes (which would already been moved if they were on time) and the lead man started yelling and telling me to adjust my attitude. I told him I was told 2 hours and they were an hour early and maybe he should be a little more respectful. He walked off, leaving my furniture in my front yard and middle of my living room. As a veteran of many moves both for the military and schools, I feel I have a good point of reference for this review. I estimate I have moved greater than 17 times. I will say, I correctly, that AZ On Time Movers was my worst experience in many ways. First, one of the moving crew felt ill and had to leave the job to the two remaining movers. Then, it became obvious that the owner, what I estimated the size of the truck to be rented far under estimated things. After an extended time for loading that too- small truck, There were many of my items that had to be left behind, Theoretically temporarily. As the new owner required that I must be completely out of the house, I left the items in front of my house, and the two remaining workers assured me they would return by 5 PM to pick them up. Of course, they did not return at all that afternoon. They returned sometime in the next day. When the second load was finally delivered to me, many valuable items were missing. Added to this, the first load resulted in two broken, large-screen televisions (Stan's). It took two months to obtain the replacements for which I did the best majority of footwork. The company did, however, reimburse me. For the stands. In terms of the missing items, I am quite sure my neighbors in my gated community did not abscond with them. The items that were selectively missing from the second load were items that could be used, specifically, by tradesmen. You can connect the dots. I strongly recommend that you consider spending your time, effort, and money elsewhere. read more

I needed a short notice same day move and Paul scheduled it perfectly. Curtis and Keyshawn completed the move in 114 degree weather and still kept their professional courtesy. The customer service is excellent, the quality of work is top notch and their pricing fits into any budget. The moving company we originally hired did not complete the job. They said we needed three men to move our furniture from our upstairs condo to a downstairs condo in the same complex. They were amazing! I contacted several moving companies in a panic on Sunday, needing last minute movers within the next couple days. I was scared I would either get no responses or insanely expensive quotes. Paul himself got back to me within minutes (LOVE the Yelp app, btw!) with a fair price and availability for when I needed. He could have totally taken advantage of my time crunch but absolutely did not. He texted me the day of, confirming time and they were right on time. Extremely professional, moved everything quickly and efficiently but also carefully-all in ridiculously hot and humid middle of the day July heat-with zero complaints or bad attitude. I had never hired movers before (always just plied friends and family with beer and pizza to help move) but I literally can't imagine ever not hiring movers again, especially not hiring AZ On Time Moving! The movers were nice people. The one star comes from the fact that I noticed a rip in our mattress. Once I informed the movers of this, I was told they would take a picture and send it to Paul (owner). Keep in mind we paid for insurance on our belongings. We reached out to Paul the same day and were told he would reach out to us the next day. Paul never reached out to us. We contacted him two days later and he blames the mattress ripping on us and then proceeds to insult us by calling it a "dirty old mattress" and that we were "looking for money". The mattress was bought brand new 5 months ago and was worth more than the entire cost of the move. Paul is the worst business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My family and I did nothing wrong and expected an honest service. We understand that mistakes happen but when you attempt to disregard a mistake on your end that directly affects my family and I , that is where I have an issue. If your looking at this company please just look deeper into the reviews. All of the ones state the same thing over and over , something broke and Paul ( The owner) refused to fix it. Josh and Justin from AZ On Time helped me with my move last week. We ended up having to move sooner than we had planned, but AZ On Time was able to move me on a Sunday on only one day's notice. They were really good. Just the two of them got all of my large furniture and boxes moved without any damage or breakage. As efficient as they were in packing their truck, we had to make 2 trips. AZ On Time was good enough to not charge me an extra trip fee as they had originally estimated one trip. Overall cost was less than I was quoted with other movers.
