The owner, Nick, has top-notch customer service and is just a genuinely good guy. Because Nick was such a cool dude, I ended up stopping by regularly just to check in and shop at the store. I come in, smoke half a blunt, am friendly and don't cause issues. I'm quiet. I sit on the couch and listen to music or go on my computer. Some people like me, but one employee has had an issue with me since I met him. I've done nothing to him - I don't even talk to him. I've never seen someone have so much hate, anger, and aggressiveness in their eyes every time they see me. It's very very weird and makes no sense. Today one of their employees was hitting himself in the head 'trying to get the devil out' '(his words.) He was all around the shop kicking and jumping and acting so oddly that I was extremely uncomfortable. I went up to the employee that hates me and said 'hey he's honestly making me uncomfortable.' As soon as I said those words he was angry triggered defensive, accusatory. He instantly gaslighted me to such a high degree bc I said those words. He told me I'm seeing things and that im just trying to cause problems along with a host of other things that didn't make sense. He was the victim as soon as I was vulnerable and said he's making me uncomfortable. When I first moved here one of the owners gave me death stares so often and was so intensely unwelcoming that I just stopped going bc it freaked me out so much and I honestly felt unsafe. Ive never even talked to that owner. Some just decided to hate me and give me the dirtiest looks. Ive never in my life gone into a store where I am a loyal customer and been treated like that. Ive supported them constantly, asking about shows they do, praising them. I decided to try going back to the store less than a month ago and things were good but they got worse and here's a prime example of why i don't come back. It's like they keep trying to get me to stop coming to the store even if they lose money. I am gay btw - and dress very masculinity. I can't think of why else they would have such a weird aggressive hateful attitude towards me. I have no idea. The footage in the store will prove the employees erratic behavior but I'm not holding my breath for anyone to apologize and tell me the employee shouldn't have done it. Im still the problem. Saving an employees ass sometimes comes before the customer for them. Like in this case. Some often find a way to just make you an enemy. When you're so high that you can't even function and are thinking and seeing things and saying that aren't there (has happened there before to me and many of my friends) and you chase off a customer so badly to the point they will never come back over saying something in the store is making me uncomfortable in a very calm voice then I honestly just feel sorry and worried and embarrassed for this guy. Very interesting hire. Lastly, when I came in awhile ago to ask about a vape and couldn't buy it because it was too expensive he was angry with me, had a huge attitude, and wouldn't stop trying to sell me stuff I had told him over and over I don't want to buy. He was shocked that i didn't get the vape - as if I did something horrible - and was judgmental and annoyed when i said i had to leave. About 5 years or so ago, I stumbled into Kevin's shop back when he was just starting up, it was just him in a super small space, working all day everyday. You could tell he was giving it everything he had. After helping a customer out real quick he had me sit down and we shot the sh*t for what seemed like maybe 20-30 mins. He got me set up with everything I needed to succeed. I was prepared & had even made a new friend. No pressure at any time, just helpful, friendly and you could tell he genuinely cares. It didn't stop there though, I came back to get juice from him because well, what comes around goes around. I remembered the great service. Time went on, we had more great talks each time I came by, then we started talking about how I wanted to quit my nicotine habit... At that moment Kevin helped me ween myself down by making lower and lower mg nicotine juice I just needed to remember what mg I was using and make the decision on when to lower it. Eventually I was using 0mg nic and not even craving it, victory! After about a year of 0mg juice I was able to break the other habit created when I smoked cigarettes: smoking before, during and after everything. I've been nicotine free for 2 years and loving it, I also stopped vaping... juice that is ;) When I quit using my e-cig I passed it on to my neighbor in hopes that it will help him quit cigarettes too. I went into this location a couple of days ago. I bought two different kinds of flour. Each were 5…read moreounces. I also got a couple of pre-rolls in all it cost me $114. I also take Ubers to get there bc I don't have a car yet - $20 there $20 back and that's 40 in total. I went home the first time and I opened the bag and tried pulling bout a gram of the first one. What you see is what I got in total. So many seeds and stems that could not break down. They were trying to tell me that these could be broken down, that they aren't seeds, but every single time I picked at the two I bought it was only seeds over and over. in each of the 5 grams I bought that I tried to break down . I've tried 3 different grinders including two of my friends and it doesn't break down. I have never seen this in my life - and when I called they laughed at me and one of the guys on the phone laughed when I said I take Ubers there. So I took another uber yesterday bc the employee told me to stop by. He wasn't there but the manager 'tried to make it right' 'it wasn't free' but it has just as many seeds and stems. I cannot put this stuff in a blunt. Taking into what I bought, what I spent getting there - I lost over $200. If you put any of these pieces between both fingers it is as hard as a rock and truly feels like you are holding onto a pop corn kernel. Inside each little ball you see it is all seed and then a very thin outer layer of weed on top that is not substantial enough to get anything out of it. I told them I can't use any of it - any of the 10g bought because they are all like this. No matter what kind and what piece. I have been smoking for a long time and i have never come across anything close to the weed i got - I've never had to deal with anything even close to this situation. Never seen any one with the guts to even try to sell it. Apparently Mr laugh it up told me the photo I sent them were not seeds and can be broken down. They can't. I came by today bc an employee from the day I bought it said I could come in and that they were sorry about it. They said thank you for telling us - we want to know these things. Then I called the state street store by accident and the employee said the same thing as the previous employee about making it right and thank you for telling us. He did not tell me to take it with me - I was at a coffee shop far from where I live. One person tells me one thing, another store says another, one day it's this, one believes me, one will help me with a new bag, one tells me one policy and then another employee will say differently. It is incredibly confusing. I called a different location on state street which they told me to do- one time they tell me to call one store - one time the other and I have to figure it all out. The elitist who laughed and said he went to college for this...yikes. Take a step down sir. Thank you guys for helping me lose $200+ and in the end have nothing I can actually use while you laugh. They told me you need to come back and we can look at it - I'm not going to spend another $40 for complete bs. That's a huge deal and a lot of money I lost in all but it's something to laugh at for you. A laugh riot. I highly suggest you look carefully at what they give you and their practices. This is So bizarre. They truly robbed me blind. Look through all the photos I've posted for a very clear understanding of what im dealing with.
