    Chicken Biryani
    Sam T.

Ordered a few things from here first off Pani puri 1/5 Pani puri no flavor what so ever the filling basically only included garbanzo beans which and no flavor to them and the water well just say it was colored water that's it no flavor non the puri's were not crispy as they should be. Chicken Kirahi & Naan 2/5 First for most the plate was full of oil had at least a shot glass worth off oil in it. Second the kirahi itself way too salty chicken was good cooked nice and tender but again no spicy to it no other taste can basically only taste the salt a little green chili like I would say a hint of it. Naan well they call themself a restaurant so I would like a restaurant to at least make fresh naans like the naans they served where from those deep frozen tandoori naans I've had those at home and these naans tasted exactly like that matter in fact looked the same too and they charged $4 I can get fresh naans from my local market for a $1.50 and they are going to be most likely bigger then the ones they served for $4.00 and not to mention fresh. So there naans for sure came from the tandoori naan packet I mean have some standard your a restaurant. Chicken biryani 1/5 Chicken biryani again had no spice to it I mean it is a biryani not boiled rice. Chicken was cooked good. Some grains of the rice felt hard like the rice was sitting overall not the best. Bottom line if your a desi you will not get the taste of a desi restaurant from this spot I would a coleslaw and fish over this all day long it is like an insult to desi food what this restaurant is putting out. Hope to see some better results. Cheers.

Hands down best haleem and Hyderabadi biryani in the Bay Area, owners are so sweet and welcoming. Absolutely must try this hidden gem in Morgan Hill. Just updating my review based on some other ones I've read-I honestly don't know what people are talking about as far as food taste/quality-Im Indian and I literally don't eat at desi restaurants because I find the food to be so mediocre compared to real Indian food. If you actually want a no frills authentic Hyderabadi food experience with high quality meat and ingredients try Azeem's-otherwise stick to CTM at your usual box masala restaurants.

We went back for a second time to Azeem's tonight and had the Lamb Shank, Goat Biryani, Chicken Samosas and Butter Chicken. The entire meal was delicious with amazing service by staff and Azeem himself! We plan on taking friends back with us soon this weekend, the food is that good. Best Indian Food in Morgan Hill!

My last meal from Tadka Indian Cuisine was the most disappointing meal I've had in a very long…read moretime. Indian cuisine is my favorite type of cuisine. Roti is perhaps my favorite of any bread ... however not this Roti. I requested all dishes (we ordered several - as I do when ordering Indian food) to be medium or spicy. Nothing was medium spiced and definateky not spicy... in cadaver I dint think anything had a spice at all to it (except for the Bhindi Marsala which had a lot of red pepper flakes in it). The Mixed Vegetable Pakora was tough and gummy inside each fritter, some of the fritters were burnt. The Roti was so tough I could not even treat it apart with my hand; at home I tried my best to use hand and dicots to top it and I put it outside fir the raccoons and even they refused to eat it. The Naan was also tough (though not as though as the Roti) it was supposed to be butter garlic naan and it was so cold bland and tough I'm not sure it was any of those words. The Paneer Tikka Masala was so sweet and absolutely bland it was inedible. I just started picking out the paneer to eat without the sauce that was only sickly sweet with no other flavor. The Lb Vindaloo also has a sauce with barely a spice in it ... bland (I've never had a bland vindaloo before) with large hunks of potato but barely any meat. The Shrimp Korma had four shrimp in it (shrimp were well cooked and of decent size - but only 4!) and the sauce was again bland ... not a flavor or spice anywhere to be found. The Bhindi Marsala had actual flavor of the red pepper flake nature and was not bad but do overcooked it had the strangest texture and slight scorched flavor on some of the okra pieces. The Samosas were soft and doughy with the insides a dense compressed mass that had no flavor. The blandest samosa (I didn't eat mine I offered to raccoons as well - they ate the samosa) I've ever had... the ones you can air fry from Costco are better than these were. The rice (Peas Pulao) was well cooked and tasted fine if bland. The mint chutney was very watery tasting that it had very little flavor at all. The Tamarind chutney was pretty good and hubby really liked it. It and the rice were the only things we could say were good or mediocre. Indian food is my favorite food, my husband is not as wild about it as I am so we do not often get it. I was so excited to order all of these dishes .... And how devastated I was when I was served whatever this was!

Person taking order was friendly and helpful. Beer is a decent selection, I don't know much about beers tho. Sodas are bottled and there is a water cooler, I didn't see or ask for ice. Wings had a good flavor, only thing I would take away is they are not crispy or crunchy so soft skinned. Still good flavor just not a fantastic texture. Pizza was good, akin to Mountain Mike's. Nice crust, lots of toppings, very fresh vegetables. They don't have a salad bar, also was sad for me. It was good, just not $80 good Might come back and try Indian foods, maybe if someone else is paying. Looks like a good place for a no -kids event or a work party or sports gathering. It is also an amazing spot for non-vegans; on this visit, I was the only vegan at the table alongside one vegetarian and three non-vegans, and absolutely everyone was impressed. We sat outside on the patio because we brought our dog, and the staff was incredibly nice and turned on the outdoor heaters for us, which made the space super cozy. We ordered a huge spread, and honestly, everyone loved everything. The absolute stars of the show were the Japanese BBQ Cauliflower and the Chili Cheese Fries (even the non-vegans' favorites!). The cauliflower had the perfect crunch, and the creamy sauce it came with was so delicious on its own and paired perfectly with the crispiness. The chili cheese fries are an absolute staple every time we visit. They load them up perfectly; there wasn't a single dry fry without chili or sauce on it. For mains, the Thai Peanut Glass Noodles were well seasoned and perfectly saucy (not dry at all), and the Bakon Burger was delightful with just the right amount of BBQ sauce and vegan bacon. We also tried the Supreme Pizza; the flavors were great and I'd order it again, though my only minor critique of their pizzas in general is that the vegan cheese can be a bit gummy. Service is usually great here. On this specific visit, our server missed a few things (forgot plates, missed an extra order of fries, and didn't check in much), but it looked like she was new and being trained by another employee, so we totally understood. I am easily giving Craft Roots 5 stars. Because we have come here numerous times and they have consistently delivered amazing food, one off-day with a new server in training doesn't change how much we love this place. It's a must visit for incredible plant-based comfort food that will satisfy anyone, vegan or not. Also, I added more food photos from a previous visit; the corn ribs, a peach dessert and another salad.

One of the few Indian restaurants that doesn't taste like they have three main sauces they pull from with no effort to make flavors differentiate or pop. The dishes here taste like the chef's actually care about the food. Service is polite and simple. Very low maintenance. Not a restaurant if you like to be picky. Come to enjoy it as it is. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that, because they do a lot of take out, they have a lot of drinks and other items prepared to just grab and go for you. This doesn't work if your order anything other than water to drink at the table. They offer really interesting and refreshing tea/lemonades, yet when they bring the drink it comes prepared to go in plastic cup, sealed, with boba style fat straw (as opposed to the very elegant picture on their menu). It stood out as massively tacky and ugly, especially because of how thoughtful the design choices are for the table scape and the rest of the dining experience. Strange place to cut a corner. Even opening the to go cup at the counter, pouring it into one of the lovely water glasses (which is what I did, lol) would be easy and streamline the beautiful experience.

The sizzling hot beef plate served with veggies, rice and a salad was unbelievable. add on a lemon and some more greens sauce and you're in for a treat. the rice alone was so flavorful and it tasted like there was meat drippings on top. the beef was so tender and fell apart in 1 bite. I was blown away with the dish the chicken wrap... man. I'm not sure what kind of bread, pita was used but it was fantastic. a huge wrap with lettuce, onion chicken, sauce and other veggies. It was so messy and hard to eat with your hands so we resorted to eating with a fork and knife. Unreal. Unreal. massive portions again which are a theme here. But holy smokes this was so good. The chicken has a nice char, but is also juicy and saucy. the spongy pita neutralizes the bombardment of flavor from the meat, and the veggies compliment everything with some crunch and texture. Service was great and very helpful. They were extremely friendly and a delight to talk with. We will be back 5/5
