    Chicken Biryani

Ordered a few things from here first off Pani puri 1/5 Pani puri no flavor what so ever the filling basically only included garbanzo beans which and no flavor to them and the water well just say it was colored water that's it no flavor non the puri's were not crispy as they should be. Chicken Kirahi & Naan 2/5 First for most the plate was full of oil had at least a shot glass worth off oil in it. Second the kirahi itself way too salty chicken was good cooked nice and tender but again no spicy to it no other taste can basically only taste the salt a little green chili like I would say a hint of it. Naan well they call themself a restaurant so I would like a restaurant to at least make fresh naans like the naans they served where from those deep frozen tandoori naans I've had those at home and these naans tasted exactly like that matter in fact looked the same too and they charged $4 I can get fresh naans from my local market for a $1.50 and they are going to be most likely bigger then the ones they served for $4.00 and not to mention fresh. So there naans for sure came from the tandoori naan packet I mean have some standard your a restaurant. Chicken biryani 1/5 Chicken biryani again had no spice to it I mean it is a biryani not boiled rice. Chicken was cooked good. Some grains of the rice felt hard like the rice was sitting overall not the best. Bottom line if your a desi you will not get the taste of a desi restaurant from this spot I would a coleslaw and fish over this all day long it is like an insult to desi food what this restaurant is putting out. Hope to see some better results. Cheers.

Hands down best haleem and Hyderabadi biryani in the Bay Area, owners are so sweet and welcoming. Absolutely must try this hidden gem in Morgan Hill. Just updating my review based on some other ones I've read-I honestly don't know what people are talking about as far as food taste/quality-Im Indian and I literally don't eat at desi restaurants because I find the food to be so mediocre compared to real Indian food. If you actually want a no frills authentic Hyderabadi food experience with high quality meat and ingredients try Azeem's-otherwise stick to CTM at your usual box masala restaurants.

We went back for a second time to Azeem's tonight and had the Lamb Shank, Goat Biryani, Chicken Samosas and Butter Chicken. The entire meal was delicious with amazing service by staff and Azeem himself! We plan on taking friends back with us soon this weekend, the food is that good. Best Indian Food in Morgan Hill!

The dining room is welcoming , with music videos playing and pictures of delicious food on the wall. For dinner, we opted for the butter chicken and lamb curry. This is probably the worst version of butter chicken that I have ever tried. The chicken was dry despite being covered in the wonderful sauce. The lamb curry was better , but a little fatty in some spots. The aloo gobhi was really good with both the potatoes and cauliflower cooked perfectly. The basmati rice was perfect , and the garlic naan was excellent. Our total bill was about 65.00 not including tip. To be fair we had enough leftovers for a lunch the next day. Solid option in Gilroy, but not quite the can't miss experience I was hoping for. I guess it is back to Little India for me for my Indian cuisine.

Thursday 4pm it's empty and quiet, lots of televisions (not my thing but I'm sure it's appealing for watch parties), one or two tables left dirty. Ordering was easy, you can use and ap but I won't download them, but written menu is there too. I should have tried Indian styles items but husband wanted regular pizza. Person taking order was friendly and helpful. Beer is a decent selection, I don't know much about beers tho. Sodas are bottled and there is a water cooler, I didn't see or ask for ice. Wings had a good flavor, only thing I would take away is they are not crispy or crunchy so soft skinned. Still good flavor just not a fantastic texture. Pizza was good, akin to Mountain Mike's. Nice crust, lots of toppings, very fresh vegetables. They don't have a salad bar, also was sad for me. It was good, just not $80 good Might come back and try Indian foods, maybe if someone else is paying. Looks like a good place for a no -kids event or a work party or sports gathering. It's sizable, no video or pool or games but I imagine you could bring board games.

One of the few Indian restaurants that doesn't taste like they have three main sauces they pull from with no effort to make flavors differentiate or pop. The dishes here taste like the chef's actually care about the food. Service is polite and simple. Very low maintenance. Not a restaurant if you like to be picky. Come to enjoy it as it is. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that, because they do a lot of take out, they have a lot of drinks and other items prepared to just grab and go for you. This doesn't work if your order anything other than water to drink at the table. They offer really interesting and refreshing tea/lemonades, yet when they bring the drink it comes prepared to go in plastic cup, sealed, with boba style fat straw (as opposed to the very elegant picture on their menu). It stood out as massively tacky and ugly, especially because of how thoughtful the design choices are for the table scape and the rest of the dining experience. Strange place to cut a corner. Even opening the to go cup at the counter, pouring it into one of the lovely water glasses (which is what I did, lol) would be easy and streamline the beautiful experience.

I stopped because I felt that…read moredining experiences are personal, and everyone should have the opportunity to form their own opinion. Yesterday, however, I changed my mind after having one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had at Saapaaduu. I've tried to dine here a couple of times over the past few years, but it was always crowded, so we ended up leaving. Since we were in the area yesterday, we decided to give it another try. We arrived around 8:00 PM with our family, including kids, and waited about an hour for a table. Even though I added my phone number to the waitlist, I never received any updates, and it didn't seem like people were being called in the order they were added. By the time we were seated, it was already 9:00 PM. We ordered a few dishes. The appetizers--Chicken 65, Chicken Lollipop, and Pallipalayam Chicken--arrived one by one. About 30 minutes later, our server informed us that they were out of Seeraga Samba Chicken Biryani and only had Vijayawada Chicken Biryani available. Since it was already late and we had no real alternative, we agreed. It then took another 20 minutes for the biryani to arrive. Unfortunately, the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani was nothing like a biryani. It was simply dry basmati rice with chicken gravy sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The rice was dry, and the dish lacked the flavor and texture you'd expect from a biryani. I took one spoonful and left the rest--I didn't even want to take it home. The Pallipalayam Chicken tasted nothing but same chicken curry in Vijayawada biryani with coconut chunks and didn't have the authentic flavor I was expecting. Overall, nothing stood out. The food was mediocre at best and did not justify the long wait. The restaurant itself is quite small. The person at the front desk mentioned that it accommodates around 40 guests at a time, which seems about right for the 8-10 tables inside. Given the limited seating and the consistently long wait times, I strongly feel they should implement an online reservation or waitlist system. Families with young children shouldn't have to stand outside for an hour without updates. It almost feels like the long line has become part of the restaurant's image rather than something they're trying to improve. I genuinely wanted to like this place after hearing so much about it over the years, but unfortunately, the overall experience--from the wait, to the service, to the food--was disappointing. I apologize for leaving a negative review, as that's not something I usually do. However, I believe sharing an honest experience is fair to both the restaurant and future customers. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively and improves the overall dining experience.

*Vegetarian Foodie Review*…read more Always wanted to try this cafe and finally went in there today. It was at a walkable distance from my daughter's gymnastics camp. It was around 2PM, and we wanted some quick snack bites. This felt like a perfect place. Super cute cafe kind of ambiance. It has books, games etc to chill and my daughter & I had fun exploring it together. The menu didn't feel super huge, which is good because it makes me feel the items must be really good. I ended up ordering the paneer sandwich for myself and the veg panini for my 5 year old. 1) The paneer sandwich was my fav - it had a subtle hint of sweetness. The flavors really talked to me. The paneer portion was generous in my sandwich, a good protein-packed sandwich. 2) My daughter attacked the Veg panini and finished it in just a few mins. She told me it was super tasty, and didn't even let me try it. All sandwiches comes with fries - they were super yummy too, however, they were a tad bit salty and it would have been the best if they would tone down the salt a bit. Overall, I would rate the food at 5/5. My spouse joined us a little later, and I ordered the paneer sandwich one more time for him to eat. He also agreed that it was a 5 on 5. He loved the place too and told me he will definitely try the chai there next time he drops our kid to the gymnastics class. Service was surprisingly a little slow. They took 15 mins to get us the sandwiches, which in my opinion was a bit long considering it was just us in the cafe at that time. However, I had a feeling that they probably made it fresh, so it might take longer due to that. Took off 1 star for slow service. Definitely coming back again to try out more options from the menu!

But the sambusa has a better structure, holding its shape after multiple bites. the Dough is softer but still crispy. it came with beef , chilies and other vegetables. so so good. the perfect appetizer for us. it came with a spicy green sauce that seemed to be the common sauce for every dish then the stars of the show. The sizzling hot beef plate served with veggies, rice and a salad was unbelievable. add on a lemon and some more greens sauce and you're in for a treat. the rice alone was so flavorful and it tasted like there was meat drippings on top. the beef was so tender and fell apart in 1 bite. I was blown away with the dish the chicken wrap... man. I'm not sure what kind of bread, pita was used but it was fantastic. a huge wrap with lettuce, onion chicken, sauce and other veggies. It was so messy and hard to eat with your hands so we resorted to eating with a fork and knife. Unreal. Unreal. massive portions again which are a theme here. But holy smokes this was so good. The chicken has a nice char, but is also juicy and saucy. the spongy pita neutralizes the bombardment of flavor from the meat, and the veggies compliment everything with some crunch and texture. Service was great and very helpful. They were extremely friendly and a delight to talk with. We will be back 5/5
