Her office is located inside the "C&C Skincare" building, so you might miss her at first glance. She's also very responsive via call and text, making it super easy to schedule appointments. Big plus: Azitas accepts payment and tips through Venmo and Paypal too. Super convenient! I bought a brazilian through Groupon and the entire process took only 10 minutes. There are some businesses that give you the cold shoulder, give you worse service, or try to upsell you when you bring a Groupon but Azitas was great. I took one star off, however, because the skin is a bit raw after the process and there's still a bit of stubble. If you are even considering the Brazilian Blow out, you must try Manijeh Hair Studio in Studio City. I've been coming here for years for waxing with Azita. Azita is amazing and very fairly priced. I guess I never thought about getting my hair done until Manijeh suggested I try the Brazilian Blow out because I have very frizzy and curly hair. My first reaction was "no way, I don't want chemicals burning my scalp" plus I also believed the treatment just would not work. OHH-- LET ME TELL YOU HOW WRONG I WAS!! I LOVE and ADORE my BLOWOUT AND CONSIDER IT THE BEST $$ SPENT. First off, Manijeh is excellent! She has many years of experience working with hair and really knows what she is doing. She did a terrific job on me. This process takes a while (about three hours) and she took her time and did a superb job. I also had her cut my ends and couldn't be more pleased. The cost was also far less than what I had heard and in my opinion very reasonable. I ended up purchasing the shampoo, conditioner and leave in serum and am happy I did. You should too, as I think it makes your blowout look better. My friend did the process in the south bay area and bought another sulfate free shampoo and her results are not nearly as nice as my results. The products are a bit pricey, but clearly it's worth it and they do last a fair amount of time. I did this process in June 2010 and my hair is still straight. Everyone comments on how healthy my hair looks. Note: I was never the girl who got complimented for hair until now. The results are still perfect. I know I need to go in for a touch up in October or November, but when I look at before and after pictures I almost can't believe my eyes. Now, when it's humid, I'm not the one with the frizzy horrible hair. If you have ever suffered with hot flat irons, hours of blow drying, burns, expensive and useless serums and gels, then this is your best solution. I bought a groupon for this place for a brazilian wax, called the same day, and the owner was nice enough to agree to see me the same day. However, when I got there, and I guess she saw my skin color, she did not want to provide me the services she promised. She told me she did not want to wax me and I should come back in 3days. And even after I had an appointment and there were no other customers in front of me, she told me she had other customers coming and could not see me. They are plain RACIST and their customer services sucks, they literally kicked me out of the salon--she said "no" "no" "no" I can't do your brazilian, even if there were ZERO customers on a saturday. I ONLY trust Azita to give me a Brazilian wax. I've been going to Manijeh to get waxed for five years now and I'm literally never disappointed. I've been to a few other places here and there (only if I'm not in town) and something always goes wrong (either it's too expensive, I'm just not comfortable with the woman, or they don't remove enough hair). I like to leave a landing strip but I want every other stray hair to be removed and Azita definitely takes care of this. If the wax doesn't get the stubborn ones, she'll bust out her tweezers. I went based on the recommendation of a bartender who I used to work with and I'm so glad I listened to her because I don't know what I'd do if I'd never found Azita! It's also the best deal in town for what she does. Other places charge double what she does. Don't be fooled by the modest salon or the weird location (it's in a strip mall). I told him that I need an appointment and he said he'll call me in couple of hours, but he never did. I called him today and again it went to his voice mail and it was full, so I couldn't leave the message. I found it his Facebook page and contacted, but still no response.
