I booked an appointment for laser hair removal on my legs and consultation for the same on my face…read more I specified it was my first time when booking and to the person assisting with the consultation. After the consult, I decided to add partial face laser hair removal to my treatment. I was seen by Rebecca for the actual procedure. She did my legs first and we had 0 issues. When she moved to my face, she did not ask me to tie up my hair or move it out of the way. She also fid not ask if i wanted my sideburns completely gone - I did not. I have never gotten laser hair removal on my face and had no idea if the device used would be smaller or different from the process on my legs. As she approached the left side of my face, there was an audible crackling sound that i did not hear at all on other part of my body or face. She asked if i was ok and i said yes since i did not feel pain. I assumed the laser had burned some hair near my ear/sideburn area. She continued and we finished the session with no further incident. She stepped out of the room and i cleaned off the gel from my body face. I immediately notice the crackling sound was actually burned hair. When i mentioned to reception at checkout, Rebecca came by to talk to me and i told her she had burned my hair. Instead of apologizing, she tried to gaslight me by saying burned hair turns back and she did not burn my hair. Even when I reiterated the fact that she herself acknowledged the crackling sound, she chose to lie. She had zero sympathy or remorse for what she did. I was told that the partial face treatment would be free due to the situation and asked to "sign here" to complete my checkout. Staff failed to mention they were actually having me sign a document essentially stating I couldn't sue for their actions today. I was so upset with how the situation was being handled i left in tears. This place has lots of positive reviews, which is why i trusted them in the first place. Sadly, they have no empathy or human kindness when dealing with a negative experience.
