I'd been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally stopped in last night! It was a Friday night closer to closing time so it wasn't busy at all. We sat on the patio outside which was perfect. Our server, Angelica was amazing super sweet, kind, and patient we loved her! We started off with some chips and salsa which was okay. I was super hungry so i ate it but the salsa kinda tasted like spaghetti sauce. Not my fave at all. But the chips were good. We ordered the margarita flight which was very ok. The smaller portions made the flavors feel so much more concentrated. Pretty underwhelming bc all i could taste was how sweet it all was and just a hint of tequila. Definitely better off ordering a regular drink next time. But it was super cute and exciting how the flight came with the sparklers! For dinner we ordered this huge taco platter which was an absolute dream come true. It came with 12 tacos and your choice of meat. We picked chicken, al pastor and carne asada! For my birthday forget a cake i want this taco platter! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes, music, staff were great as well as the tacos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Idk if it was the bartender for the night but the marg flight was not it and that salsa could've been better but I'd definitely go back especially for happy hour which i see they have all day every Sunday and certain hours during the week.

Who said Mexican food couldn't be healthy?! So I've come here often. Most recently, I wanted something on the lighter side. I opted to get the sopa de Pollo. It was fresh, delicious, and so light and warm. It was the perfect comfort food/healthy option. I also ordered a tamarind margarita on the side, which was absolutely delicious. And the manager, Alberto was amazing. He gave top quality service and made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend visiting this location. They also offer a really good happy hour!

My employees and I went to a lunch meeting at this restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience and decor is very festive and well decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hostess and server were very warm and welcoming and were very attentive. As soon as we got seated, we were provided with chips and salsa. The salsa tasted a bit watered down. We all ordered an array of meals to include fajitas, hard shell, corn and flour tacos and nachos. Everything was freshly made, seasoned and delicious . I ordered the hard shell tacos with ground beef, rice and beans and everything was flavourful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are TVs on with entertaining shows on in the background. Music was very festive and added to the ambiance of the restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Located in the Brandon Exchange (mall), Azteca is a Mexican restaurant with a variety of food & drink choices to choose from. I have never had an issue with any staff and the food is always prepared in a good amount of time. Their kids menu also has some Mexican cuisine and/or American options for those picky toddlers. Price can be on the higher end, but portions are a good size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is an indoor and outdoor section (with heaters outside).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I stopped by Azteca de Oro after a shopping trip at the Brandon Mall and decided to grab a quick bite. I only ordered a drink and an appetizer, both were good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was early, so the restaurant wasn't crowded, which made the atmosphere relaxed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great, attentive, and friendly without being overbearing. I definitely plan to come back when I'm in the Brandon area to try more of their menu.

Seems to be pretty busy though was seated promptly 6PM. Located on the outside of a shopping mall, easy to get to. Chips and tasty salsa. Ordered a margarita , Cuervo gold.Chicken fajitas were good, needed more peppers though. Allot of meat made up for it and nice sides come w it.

I was excited to come because the reviews were great but I was very underwhelmed. We got in fast which was good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very nice , but the food was just ok. The guacamole was pretty good. The salsa was too tomatoey and the chips were off. The steak fajitas had way more onions than needed. The steak was ok. I think it wasn't well cooked even though the flavor was fine. All in all it was edible but not great

This was my first time visiting. We were served warm chips and salsa right away. The salsa was good but pretty typical. My cocktail was strong and really good, an easy 10 out of 10. The birria tacos were tasty and filling, but the rice was a bit bland and the beans were just okay, nothing to rave about. The standout items were definitely the cocktail and the birria tacos. Service was attentive as soon as we were seated, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was creative and unique.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, the food was decent but a bit overpriced. I might come back if I'm at the Brandon Mall and craving quick tacos and drinks, but there are other Mexican restaurants in the area I'd choose first.

For a mall restaurant this is a high end dining experience. Inside and out it's very well appointed and the menu choices make choosing somewhat of a chore. The service was good and the food even better. Nice size portions with leftovers to travel home.

Fantastic food. The fresh guacamole is so fresh. They make it in front of you! I highly recommend getting the elote. It was delicious. My only complaint is the water pressure in the ladies' room was so light it took a long time to wash my hands. Monica was our server. She was fantastic. Also they serve Pepsi products but you can get Coke in a glass bottle!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great atmosphere![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Clean, friendly, fast service. Free chips and salsa and happy hour as long as you get there before 6PM. Service was fast and the food was tasty. Happy hour is from 3P-6P it's in the Brandon mall plaza

We ordered zucchini tacos wanted to try squash blossom but not in season yet. We also ordered the steak chimichanga. My squash tacos were good but thought price was a bit high. The chimichanga was also good. We asked if they made the carrot cake and the waitress said she couldn't say, we were feeling adventurous and tried it anyway, it was great. They must bring it in from a bakery. Again thought 9$ for a piece of cake was a bit high. Overall food was good but our lunch was over 50$.

I've been here before with friends a few times, years ago but somehow never wrote a review and hadn't been back. It was time to fix both of those problems. . I stopped in for lunch on a Monday and had my pick of spots in the large, festive- rustic dining room. There are tables and booths aplenty-along with tall stools at the large bar. They bring you a generous basket of chips and salsa right away. The first round is free-they charge after that. The chips are usually fresh and crisp. To me, the salsa needs more heat or spices-but don't go by me-I have tomato issues. My server arrived soon and was so sweet when handling my questions. She helped me make good ordering decisions and also checked on me often, but didn't hover. I went with one of the lunch specials, which was a good deal. I had the Speedy Gonzalez: a beef taco, beef enchilada verde and rice (you could have also chosen beans). It's tasty and filling-and goes down great with those aforementioned skinny margs. I ordered the cheese dip and a side of flour tortillas to dip in it. I just can't resist a bowl of cheese. All this merriment on a Monday afternoon? Si!!! The menu is big-and has echos of the Vallarta's restaurants here in the Bay Area. I'm wondering if it's a sister restaurant. It's in a strip mall, with some parking in front and maybe more in back. There's outdoor seating-and I know they used to have mariachis on certain nights-and people would dance. I should find out if that's still the case. I love mariachis even more than a bowl of cheese. Gran Agave has been here a long time. I think it has a strong local following-and I need to become a regular.

We had a group of nine for a family dinner and waited about an hour for a table, which was understandable for a larger party. Once seated, however, the service was unfortunately very slow. It took about 15-20 minutes just to receive our drinks (seven waters and two margaritas), and our food took roughly an hour to arrive at the table. The restaurant didn't appear to be overly busy, so the long wait times were a bit confusing. Because gratuity was automatically included, it felt like our server may not have been as attentive as expected. The prices were also on the higher side, which made the slow service even more disappointing. That said, I do want to mention that the food itself was very good, which was definitely the highlight of the experience. Overall, while we enjoyed the meal, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I'd consider returning in the future, but only if the service improves.
