Azteca D'Oro Mexican Restaurant is definitely a hole in the wall. Love hanging out at the bar where service is fast and food, just as amazing. My girlfriend & I love the happy hour deals especially with house red sangria. Lets not forget the chips and salsa that is always made fresh at this place. The bartenders are the most accomodating amd friendliest people on earth. Every staff member goes above and beyond making sure you are taken care of. Also the decor is on point especially the display of bottles on shelves.

This is a return visit review because Azteca D'Oro continues to impress every time we come. The atmosphere feels like a classic, traditional Mexican restaurant--colorful, lively, and welcoming. Every visit we've had here has been consistently good. Service is usually attentive, the food comes out quickly, and most importantly the quality is always excellent and reliable. This time around we tried something new: the Azteca chicken soup, and it absolutely blew me away. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Best chicken tortilla soup I've had. For our entrees, my husband ordered the al pastor tacos with sides of rice and beans, and I stuck with my usual: the Grande Combination with a chicken enchilada in mole sauce, a chile relleno, black beans, and plantains. The mole sauce is fantastic, and the chile relleno is one of the best I've ever had. We always leave here happy and full. Quick question for the chefs at Azteca D'Oro--do you have any seasonal specials coming up? Would love to try something new next time! Pro tip: Don't skip the Azteca chicken soup--it might just ruin other tortilla soups for you.

Very good stop for a quick appetizer and drinks. Everything was brought out quickly and it tasted very fresh. The service this time matched the surroundings

We love the atmosphere and usually sit at the bar which has very comfortable barstools. Always great service here from the bartender, Victor. Within minutes of sitting, they will bring you complimentary chips and salsa with refills. The salsa is delicious and has nice-sized chunks of onions and tomatoes. It also has garlic and cilantro which I love. I loved the steak tapas dish from their new tapas menu. The steak is seasoned well and is very tender. It also has sauteed onions and a consomme served with it.

My favorite is the Azteca in Winter Garden Village.. always a tasty treat for the taste buds. Great atmosphere, food, and service! I love the Carnita tacos and a crunchy shells with extra jalapeños on the side.

Amazing!! I found them on Yelp. Beautiful interior. That tree in the middle of the dining room. My first visit, there was a guitarist playing. It made everything better. The food was delicious. That was the first time I left a restaurant in tears because the experience was so Beautiful. The atmosphere, the wonderful service, the delicious fresh food. This is my Favorite restaurant in Orlando.

Have been to this place many times and decided to grab some take out. Nice place with a lot of space, a big bar, outdoor patios, and plenty of room no matter the group size. And the staff are super friendly. Probably the nicest of the Mexican restaurants I've visited in Orlando so far. This burrito was a monster! Flour tortilla with rice, beans, chicken, cheese, all stuffed in there and topped with melted and Cotija cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. Absolutely delicious!!! Took a while to finish though. The cheese dip was pretty good too. Very oily though so skip if you're health minded. The guacamole is made in house and you can taste it! Frankly, this is my favorite Mexican place so far. 10/10! Can't wait to check out their weekend brunch!

This was my first visit to this location. We were seated right away and were able to take advantage of Happy Hour. Our server was very helpful and made good recommendations. I had the club quesadilla and the 4 cheese nachos with grilled chicken. The quesadilla came with white rice and Rancho beans. I would have preferred Mexican rice but didn't think to ask for the substitution. The quesadilla had good flavor. The Nachos were very good. But the portion size was a little small for the price.

Service was solid, servers were really nice but pretty busy, there was live music but the sound system was not the best. Timing of food was fine but drinks did take a good bit from the bar. Food was decent and what we'd have expected from a chain. The Taco special with 8 tacos was a serious deal!

Quick lunch date & was not disappointed. Service was fantastic and vibe was laid back. Salsa was okay. Ordered the birria tacos. Loved the pickled onion, a nice touch. Meat was tender and flavorful. Indoor & outdoor seating.

Great add to the Winter Garden Area What Had a drink a 2 appetizers with a friend here. We got the table side chips which for the guac it was good. They have additional add of bacon or/and cheese which I skipped on. a little bummed they didn't ask how spicy I want it, but the guac was good. I also did the ceviche, with mixed of shrimp and octopus. It was good but I think it got fishy really quick. There is complimentary chips! And they came a warm, which was tasty! I am disappointed that the second bowl of chips I got was more crumbly.. like the bottom of the batch.. The drink was also decent Second go - the second time I went, I got the seafood mocajeta, it was very good, flavorful and enough to share with another person. Environment Really really nicely decorated. There is plenty of parking outside, never need to worry about parking. Niceness of the staff Very nice staff, though sometimes not as attentive, not sure if she was busy or just that we took too long to look over the menu and decide. Dollar It was decently priced. Yes I would go here again, it is a nice add for the winter garden area

I love this place. They make the best alcohol drinks. Service was fast and curtious. When I went in it was semi busy. They sat us pretty quickly as well as getting our orders in. I tried their Birria tacos, beans in a taco shell bowl and rice. It was a flavor explosion. I absolutely loved what I ordered. On top of the tacos was cilantro and onions. Beans and rice was also good. The restaurant was so nice and beautiful. I was taking it all in that I forgot to get pictures. Definitely next time when I go back. I would 100% recommend to friends and family.

We visited azteca on a Friday night around 7pm, and we were seated at a high top immediately. We were in the bar area, which was rather loud. People were definitely having a good time at the bar, whether catching up with friends or enjoying the soccer games. Our server was very on top of things. I ordered a quesadilla which was very good! It had a healthy serving of steak, cheese, peppers, and onions. If anything, it might've benefited from a touch more cheese, but I like my quesadillas on the cheesy side. I also got plantains on the side which were fantastic. I also got a sangria which, while a very large serving, honestly tasted like juice. It was overly sugary, and I would've liked to taste a little bit of the wine and liqueur underneath it, so that's the only reason why I docked a star.

The Vibe: Located in a strip mall with shared parking, the restaurant itself is actually quite cute inside, with tablecloths on each table and a full-service bar near the entrance. That said, when we first walked in, there was an unpleasant, slightly mildew-like odor, which made us question the overall cleanliness. The restaurant was about ¼ full, which felt like a decent sign for a weekday evening. Service: Service was excellent from start to finish. We were seated quickly, given chips and salsa right away, and our server was attentive and efficient throughout the meal. What We Ordered: * Enchiladas Combination (cheese, beef, and chicken with red sauce, you can choose red or green) * Puntas de Filete in Salsa Verde * Sprite & Coke First Impressions: The food came out extremely fast--under 5 minutes, which made it feel more reheated than freshly prepared. Food Quality: Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor across the board. The chips and salsa were underwhelming--the salsa was very watery with little to no spice. The enchiladas were quite dry, lacking sauce, and topped with an overwhelming amount of cheese. My husband ordered the Puntas de Filete in Salsa Verde, hoping for something similar to chile verde, but it didn't come close. The dish lacked depth of flavor and mostly tasted like beef and raw onions. He also requested medium rare, but it came out closer to well-done. Even the refried beans had an unusual, overly garlicky taste that felt a bit off. Overall: While the service was great, the food unfortunately didn't meet expectations--especially for a place positioning itself as western-style Mexican. Average food, standout service. We were hoping to find a go-to spot reminiscent of California Mexican food, but this one missed the mark for us.

From the outside, the restaurant is pretty unassuming, but if you've spent time eating at authentic Mexican spots, you know that's usually a good sign. Inside, it's small and quaint and honestly feels like you've stepped into someone's home kitchen in the best way. We ordered plain bean and cheese burritos to-go (a true test for any Mexican spot) along with a small order of chips. While waiting about 10 minutes for our food, we loaded up at the salsa bar. We tried four salsas: roasted tomato, enchilada, habanero, and tomatillo, and every single one tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Serious salsa bar goals. If I had to rank them, the roasted tomato and tomatillo were my favorites, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. Then came the burritos. One bite immediately took us right back to the LA food trucks we grew up with--simple, comforting, and exactly what a good bean and cheese burrito should be. Finally, a bean and cheese burrito that tastes like California. I wish I had taken photos, but honestly... I was too excited and dug right in. Safe to say we'll be back soon. This has officially become our new go-to spot for Mexican takeout. Pro tip: Don't skip the salsa bar--grab a few different ones and experiment.

My only consistent complaint now is that I really with you could order your drinks at the same time and at the same touchpoint as ordering food. Having to wait in a line to order food and then wait again at the bar to get a bartenders attention to then wait again for a drink is a hassle and a bit annoying. The bartenders are also quite slow here we have noticed (both upstairs and down). We have waited for drinks longer than food on more than one occasion. So this leaves me alone holding our table while my husband waits for drinks to be made and often food gets delivered while that happening and starts to cool. Annoying right? But otherwise food is good. Drinks are interesting. Great rooftop. It's a decent and easy spot to grab a quick easy dinner I just wish they fix that issue.
