I never thought that I would be disappointed in Mexican food but I found the spot and it is this restaurant. I ordered a gordita and it was the most flavorless shit I've ever eaten. The flour tortilla has no flavor/salt and is so thick that it causes everything else to have no flavor. I took a couple of bites and my appetite just disappeared. This was a very underwhelming meal and I'm never ordering from this place again. read more

The food is so amazing!!! I believe Tracy was our server and she was so helpful and attentive to us. We went on a Sunday afternoon and although it was busy we got seated fairly quickly. The vibe was nice, definitely a family friendly restaurant. They had a good amount of different salsas (my husband loves his salsas) and they all tasted amazing and spicy. For our meal we got two entrees, two large drinks and a side of guacamole and still paid below $70 before tip which is pretty good considering the portions. We will definitely visit again. read more

I ordered the chilaquiles divorciados, the meat was a bit overcooked. And the chilaquiles sauce on both the red and the green lacked flavor. Service was quick but not mindful, I wasn't checked on when I needed a refill. The interior is a bit outdated and nothing was playing on the tv screens. read more

Walked in staff was hospitable, too many dodo flies. Chip n salsa, salsa need help looks like roach coach salsa they just add onions cilantro and tomatoe juice. Ordered Castillo n green salsa n Nepalese, 3 hand made tortillas were delicious. Orange Rice only tasted like garlic and very bland, beans way too bland. Easy to make and this was disappointing. I love their carnitas tacos on their homemade tortillas and their horchata is AMAZING! I also really love their guacamole! It's limey and salty in the best way with tomatoes. MMMM. We went back and ordered the menudo again and we were in shock it was nothing like the first time it was very watery very little meat and hominy. We complained but hardly any difference. It was nothing like the first time. It's so important to be consistent in the food otherwise people won't come back again. It was very disappointing. These guys, let me tell you, inwas at the bottom of the bottom, they hooked me up w tacos as the girl was mopping the floor. They could of said," no we're closed" but they hold heartedly saw i was desperate and made me tacos that blew my mind, carne asada tacos for days. The owners need to make sure they're staff is token care of cause they really gave a darn about me and helped me out when everything else was closed. The food is good but the customer service is not good I order a large Menudo and an order of chilaquiles and I got 1 slice of lime and a pinch of chili when I asked for more limes they looked at me like I was crazy. Both orders come with tortillas but they only put 1 order and when I asked the girl said they were transitioning to no tortillas with the order. I honestly I don't care what they're transitioning to if the order online in the menu says it comes with tortillas then they should get tortillas for each order are the way they should remove it from the menu that's online or even in the one that's in their store. Definitely not worth going for a take out there The owner guy is polite and the wife is too it's just a young crowd that doesn't have customer service read more

I ordered Menudo my other two friends ordered tortas , we all had the same opinion about this place it was Ok but over priced I got menudo and it was a small bowl not the big ones and it was $16 and change there tortas and a coke was $20 each the menudo was good and they serve you the way you want it I like mine with hominy and little bit of meat no bone or anything els in it and they made it the way I ordered it , I gave three stars only because of the price I think they're way off for the food. We come to Azteca pretty often, the food is delicious . We had an unpleasant experience today. We ordered our food and noticed it was taking long, we then realized that 3 other parties that arrived after us were already eating their meal. I asked the waitress to check on our food, she sent someone else, who asked us to confirm our order. After waiting a little more, I went up to cashier and asked her to just charge me for my drinks. The lady who I assume is the manager did apologize and did not want to charge us for our drinks. Even so, I was disappointed. It ruined my day. read more

My family and I visited this restaurant today. My mom and dad frequent, this was my first time, and I have to say this was the most authentic and best tasting food I've had! The service was wonderful! The owner Umberto was super kind and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our meal. We ordered some of their freshly made guacamole which you can tell by the taste was fresh and was so delicious! And unlike most restauranta, they serve menudo everyday! And it too was very delicious! I hung up and tried to call again but the line doesn't ring anymore. It might help a little to know when your workers remember the put someone on hold and not just leave them on the line.
